Could you post the price you want, in BTC, here?
I'm open to offers but I'd be perfectly happy with 0.24 BTC

Truly sad news. But whatever the case is, I'd like to say thanks to FXO and wish them the best of luck with their services.

6586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Grooveshark accepting btc... on: July 14, 2014, 05:57:29 AM
Apparently It's available in Greece as well. Bitcoin seems to be there as a payment option indeed. Smiley
6587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mintpal hacked (VeriCoin) on: July 14, 2014, 02:03:24 AM
Some people never learn. Exchanges made months ago will surely have unexpoited security holes. Hell, there are even services that set up an exchange for you for a fee. If you want to trade your coins, do in in one of the old and established exchanges that have proven themselves for being stable and safe. It's surprising to me that exchanges like mintpal, with a HUGE daily volume can't find people to deal with their issues. This whole hack would have been prevented by hiring someone to look at the code fulltime. And what's their solution? They ask the developers to hadfork the network just to cover their asses.

Let's now make this the official currency of tumblr.

6590  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ MEMs LIST of GAMBLING SITES ★★★ on: July 13, 2014, 07:51:07 AM
From his trust page (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=55202), I can see he gave 4 negative feedback on Jul 2 and all that 4 persons were running and promoting hyip/ponzi.

I don't think his account was compromised because from his post history, he regularly got busy and left bitcointalk for a week or two. Smiley

Let's hope that this is the case. He had a great input to the community.
6591  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ MEMs LIST of GAMBLING SITES ★★★ on: July 13, 2014, 07:21:11 AM
We tried to contact you via pm, but to no available.

mem hasn't come to bitcointalk since July 2, and so maybe you will need to wait patiently for a while. Smiley

I'm starting to think that his account has gotten compromised. Last time he logged he posted negative feedback to some random people for no serious reason (the opposite tha he usualy does) and besides that, take a look at his last posts and compare them to his older ones. Seems suspicious to me.
6592  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Newegg no longer accepts bitcoin? on: July 13, 2014, 06:15:21 AM
AMD GPUs are faster but the middle one comes with six graphics cards whereas the others only come with three.

Yeah but they're invidia GPUs, they're less effective than AMD ones for mining scrypt. That's why I made this assumption. This doesn't apply to all other algos though.
6593  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] 1Mh/s scrypt contract on: July 13, 2014, 04:50:46 AM
You might as well keep it.  I don't think you will get the offers you're looking for.

I'm open to bargains and price offers as mentioned above. I'm just looking to get some BTC a bit faster than I would with the contract. There is no exact price I would sell it for but I'll surely sell it below it's full selling price from the store.
6594  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] 1Mh/s scrypt contract on: July 13, 2014, 04:28:24 AM
If no one shows interest in the upcoming 1-2 weeks I'll probably keep this for myself. But just FYI I still need those coins. I also updated the OP, the service provides daily payouts.

Also correncted the date format. I thaught it was a european date until now.
6595  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Newegg no longer accepts bitcoin? on: July 13, 2014, 04:22:09 AM

Those "mining starter packs" and "mining kits" on that page aren't for Bitcoin mining are they? Surely they must be for Litecoin or altcoin mining?
Pretty sure the middle one is for algorithms other than scrypt. It already has asics plus AMD GPUs are faster when it comes to solving scrypt. Surely GPUs are not for bitcoin mining too.
6596  Other / Meta / Re: Accuracy down to 98% on: July 13, 2014, 04:15:33 AM
Whoosh, I didn't expect to see my name in this list. I wonder how hilariusandco manages to do what he does.
6597  Other / New forum software / Option to view both inbox/outbox as conversations on: July 13, 2014, 04:11:45 AM
The title makes it clear. But to explain further; I find that it's kind of confusing to have to browse outbox and inbox in a different place. I try to quote the message I reply to so I can remember what I replied to if I read my own message a while after. But this makes conversations goofy, takes too much space within the message and also doen't look all that good. If we had the option to display messages from all parties in the same tab (like sms conversations in smart phones for example) it would be great.

Also receiving the message without having to refresh the page would be great but maybe I'm asking for too much.
6598  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Lowest Difficulty increase in a while! on: July 13, 2014, 04:00:32 AM
From then it went up to +4.48%. What this tells me is that there wasn't much mining equipment shipped within those days. Pretty sure we could reach +10% before the last increase though.
6599  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: dead HYIP, Refund progress 07/07/2014 on: July 12, 2014, 02:06:19 PM
My original investment of BTC0.27 has been refunded in full this morning at about 12AM Eastern.  The spreadsheet has been updated accordingly.

Many, many thanks BTC-Arbs!!!

To everyone (legit) waiting for their payment, hang in there.  To all non-legit requesters, find another thread to scam.

Do we really have fake claims though? I'm not sure who exactly are you talking about but it would be a pitty to have those people claim that they had big deposits wait for ages because someone said they were fake.
6600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 12, 2014, 02:36:14 AM
Yeah, but look at that massive sell wall @630 on BTC-e.  Could be fake though.

What do you mean fake? Doesn't someone need to have his founds available in his account in order to put an order?
