6581  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin real money ? - Many say that bitcoin is not money - on: October 13, 2019, 03:16:18 PM
If your definition of money is unlimited supply and can only be issued by a government then you can be label as an ignorant and should be educated, people asking if it is real money never encounter people who are using Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency to buy and pay their bills I have encountered so many people and believe me it's hard to argue with this people, even if you have a proof to show, they will soon find out they are the only people that don't believe in it.
6582  Local / Pamilihan / Re: May gumagamit na ba ng Abra at may Nakapag withdraw na ba dito on: October 13, 2019, 02:23:06 PM
Abra is good to use if you are living in Manila I don't know about other localities or provinces, but if you are going to use it, be sure to contact Tambunting first and they will give you Tambunting pawnshops that are located in your area that has bra installed, not all Tambunting uses Abra, I just found out,  that Tambunting is a consolidation of three groups and only two groups are using the Abra application.

On Abra application, it has a map and location of Tambunting pawnshops where you can chat and call the office of Tambunting in that location.
6583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Plays YoPony on Yobit? on: October 13, 2019, 12:44:56 PM
No, right now I'm not playing that on Yobit,  but nice to see one guy winning this game I lose a lot on their dice game just last year from then on I just concentrated on trading, I think it's a new game I haven't notice that people are more on trading than playing, if people want to play they prefer a dedicated gambling site, but Yobit is starting something that exchange never implemented before, their goal is to become a hub for traders and gamblers, it's like hitting two birds in one stone.
6584  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: about exchanges kyc withdraw! on: October 13, 2019, 12:16:40 PM
I noticed Strange thing Some or most of the exchanges (require KYC to withdraw) - This is no problem

But Allow users to Deposit Even if they are not Complete KYC (in exchange require KYC) - Here the problem

after that exchange do not allow withdraw Their money !!

why this ?!

Why they allow them to deposit before Complete KYC

They say we follow the law Does the law recommend doing so? Something weird!

Often exchanges hide KYC paragraph (in Privacy Policy or Usage Policy) Or users do not know Only when They want withdraw!!

what I think from like this exchanges They want Attract Volume Without regard to the interest of users

I hope the post on the right place if not Please Tell me right place
Sorry if the translation Incorrect !

This is an old practice that exchanges do so they can force you to undergo KYC, sone exchanges impose minimum amount even if you did not go KYC, the moment you use their platform you need to go through KYC and of course since you are withdrawing your funds you have no choice but to undergo, so only deposit on exchange that you trust that you will not have second thought to undergo KYC because it is something that you should expect, the moment you use an exchange.

6585  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hodium.com - Ponzi scheme on: October 13, 2019, 11:24:24 AM
They deleted their thread so they admit that they are indeed a scam project you don't take down all the post in your thread if you are not hiding something and if you are moderating your thread you should not ask people to invest in your project, this confirms everything, any Ponzi related project does not have a place here in Bitcointalk after the so many Ponzi schemes.
6586  Other / Meta / Re: Change username on: October 13, 2019, 10:50:34 AM
IS there a way to change my user name?  If so, how is this done?

 Grin Grin Grin
Only Theymos or the administrator or the admin of the forum can do that they an option in their admin panel that they can modify member's usrname, you did not specify why do you need to change your username if there was no history here that Theymos have changed anyone's name here
6587  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Flag on Bounty_Manager on: October 12, 2019, 01:48:26 PM
Left negative feedback and also supported flag, might consider deleting my flag support if the user returns both the token and ethereum sent to him but my feedback stays since the user has showcase some untrustworthy attributes. He's not worthy of been a manager since he doesn't take his responsibility seriously.

I also support the flag and unlikely to take it down, he is lucky to be a bounty manager there are so many bounty managers that have a better reputation than he has, and there are many new bounty managers that that wants to have a break but he wasted his chance, we have to make sure that this is the last bounty campaign that he has handled, he should give us a better explanation on his action.

Bat kailangan may data?

6591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: October 12, 2019, 12:56:30 AM
Visa, mastercard, ebay, paypal, drop out from libra..
will libra still continue ...? why one by one partner liba drop out.? https://twitter.com/coindesk/status/1182747730248118280?s=21

It's now become a domino effect, we will see more in the coming days, but I don't see Facebook Libra Coin stopping their launching they have everything in place they can do away without these companies, Facebook is such a huge company that it has been able to do so many things on their own, so I don't think it can be stopped just like that, unless the government step in to say don't launch.
6592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 11, 2019, 03:10:37 PM
I have always heard of people who win games with voodoo(charms/certain spiritual power).I know Voodoo is everywhere. They are said to use it to get accuracy in their predictions, permutation, casinos, throwing of dice etc while this will help to reduce to the bearest minimum their risks of loosing.
So, Do you also think this is true?

I don't think so but it's that what you believe in and you are having luck believing in that, then that's fine, people are very attracted to rituals, things and people who give them good luck, Goodluck is what we believe in and hope for, you are not going to lose anything if you believe that you are going to win in a gambling game, unless you are gambling away everything because you believe your rituals will bring enormous success, always play what you can afford to lose and you will be fine.
6593  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to bypass KYC methods? on: October 11, 2019, 01:41:18 PM
I want to register at dsx.uk to buy btc for market price, I have to make a fiat deposit either via their card(epayments) or bank wire. Obviously this thing conforms to KYC regulations, which nobody likes. Suppose I submit fake documents, do you think I'll have troubles depositing to exchange with bank wire? Normally any financial service requires you to deposit from your own bank account, I'm not sure if exchange would check where money come from.

I also want to hear from you how many times you submitted fake documents to crypto-related services, and how it turned out in future. Did you have your accounts locked? If so, how much time passed between locking and verification process? I was stupid enough to believe this government-forced bullshit which anyone can bypass with a bit of photoshop.

Many exchanges are aware that people are submitting a fake profile, some of them are buying these fake credentials in the black market, or they  hire con artist for a fake passport and driver license, so they ask people to take a selfie with them holding their passport or license with the date and the name of the exchange attach to the passport, Bitfoex is doing this now, to make sure that only legit people are using their platform.
6594  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Does anyone own the rights to the bitcoin logo on: October 11, 2019, 01:18:03 PM
It is a public image and not private...
of course, This is for the public, but suppose a company wants to use a bitcoin logo in its company, it must require approval from the bitcoin itself. Can I use logo bitcoin freely? I am also still thinking about it.

Of course, you can, in fact, we should encourage supporters, investors, and traders to use it in their keychain t-shirt printing and to promote Bitcoin further I seldom see people use Bitcoin logo in their t-shirt or anything in their possession, when we should encourage because it's free, maybe five years from now Bitcoin logo will become the most iconic and popular logo in every city like what Nike and other popular commercial logos.
6595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for your feedback! on: October 11, 2019, 12:35:07 PM

Hello, BitcoinTalk community 👋

Currently, my team and I are working on the new crypto startup (not ICO) Smiley. I would like to know if I can talk to you (or at least chat) and ask for your feedback. It would be very helpful to us.

Feel free to schedule a meeting with me by using Calendy 👉 https://calendly.com/binaryx/30min

Thanks and regards,
Anastasia

I'm glad that you are not going to do an ICO, people have had enough of exchanged based ICO, after Adab, IronX Bitmillex people have had enough of too many ICO based on exchange, I'm pretty sure you will not get funded, if one of your options is ICO, I like that you are trying to add more features, because adding more features can make the exchange competitive in the market.
Keep updating this thread and keep us interested.
6596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can more ATM's increase adoption for Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2019, 11:54:28 AM

We know consumers love ATM's and the convenience. Would you buy Bitcoin at ATM or nah?
Why not even one time, just to support for the adoption of Bitcoin, there are people who prefer to withdraw and buy bitcoin using an Atm, we need ATM it's part of the adoption process because we are in the age of automation, we cannot go on without an ATM because Cryptocurrency is internet-based, and there will always cater to people who prefer to buy bitcoin through ATM, even if the fee is quite high.
6597  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tokenpay Scammed $770,000 bounty payment.. on: October 11, 2019, 02:04:32 AM
Jamalaezaz reputation is very bad, many projects that have been dealt with end badly. I don't trust him anymore. I don't know how he chose the ICO project, did he not filter first!!

Tokenpay are being traded on many exchange.
I thought this topic should be discussed again so I opened this thread. Because tokenpay is still in the market.
Tokenpay listing on Coinmarketcap too https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tokenpay/
After this, I don't know if Jamalaezaz will be hired as bounty manager and if he manages one I don't know if he can attract bounty hunters to work with him, this is very unfortunate for bounty hunters I almost participated on that campaign but I'm other good campaigns I support flag that will be created for the project if they have created one and posted here.
6598  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where is the best place to hire a team for a project? on: October 11, 2019, 01:35:30 AM
I would like some opinions on where the best place is to hire people for an upcoming project. If anyone has any advice or experience within this area, please drop a reply!  Smiley Have a great day!

You can find them everywhere, all you have to do is to post what you are looking for a person and his qualifications, on various social media on facebook and her on Bitcointalk, the most important thing is there resume, do not believe that LINKED is a great place, you can post anything in your resume and the network have no idea if all of these are true, another good place is fiverr, you can see their work and their feedback.
6599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 10, 2019, 03:55:00 PM

Even if we were to pay more attention to the price. Many of the people worrying don't know the basics of TA. I'm here to tell you that if you own any amount of BTC you are riding a rollercoaster that is affected by adoption, politics, whales and many other factors out of your control. The one thing you can count on is the math, The fact that is was the first, the 21million cap, it's security, and the torrent of frustration it brings older businesses who have grown lazy and abuse the masses(banks).

Be well!

I even had a thread asking why people keep asking why Bitcoin price go down when it will eventually go up, after a day or two, those who are worrying about the price are those who invest their life savings and those who loan funds in the hope that they can make a fast profit when the market condition improves, but Cryptocurrency market is very unpredictable, so better only what you can afford to lose.
6600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 10, 2019, 02:56:03 PM
I found this article on cointelegraph :https://cointelegraph.com/news/nearly-10-billion-in-btc-is-held-in-wallets-of-8-crypto-exchanges. I wonder  if they had the control over the price, they can make a bearish run or even they can wake the bull up? Well for sure there is only one thing to expect it is having a good price in the future. What is your thought if the 10 billion worth of bitcoin will move?

7% can still make a pump but not a long bull run and I don't think these 8 exchanges will connive just to pump Bitcoin, they are on competition between each other, and besides, we don't have an organization of exchanges yet, or I don't know if we have one and they are just hiding it to us, but they should not connive to pump the market.
