6581  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: April 24, 2018, 07:34:28 PM
Other than message boards and forum trolls, I have yet to meet anyone in real life that shares this theory as fact.

Many celebrities have now stated they were just joking when they said they believed the earth is flat.

6582  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain in business on: April 24, 2018, 07:25:40 PM
I don't understand how blockchain could be applied into business. Anyone has a real life example of the advantage of a smart contract?
Blockchain technically can be applied into every business which wants transparency in their operations.

Transparency and immutability.
6583  Economy / Reputation / Re: Coin-Secure Exchange Hack - Tracking & Discussions on: April 24, 2018, 07:17:31 PM
It's really hard to track them once they have entered the mixer. Those bitcoins are as good as gone.

Only if the owner of the mixer doesn't track the coins.  How many of these amatuer operators wouldn't be curious, or save for later extortion?

Get a serious enough hack, and the FBI will seize the servers and track those coins down.
6584  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Proof of concept: Tool that unifies sharing coins in one easy to use UI on: April 24, 2018, 03:38:37 PM
Now I am not sure if this is even possible...? You'd probably have to install the original software for each project under the hood and communicate with it?
Any developers here that know more about that?

Technically possible, but you'd have to get each project to give you API access, and they may not want to.
6585  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to remove my red trust? on: April 23, 2018, 10:59:13 PM
I have been tagged as red trust user. How to remove my red trust? My account probably hacked, and got involve in selling my account. How can I contact the moderator and explain what happen to my account. He did not answer my personal messages. Can you help me?
Thanks in advance.

Better have a good believable story...

I'd tell you more, but I was already thanked in advance.  Smiley

Interesting about the time of day, the rest not so much.  :/
6587  Other / Meta / Re: Where can I find new members to award with merits on: April 23, 2018, 08:08:59 PM
but there seems to be a new influx of members who don't care.

Agreed.  I think the word is out that you can get merits underground so people aren't worrying about it.

Theymos should decrease the max merit sent per person per month to 10 from 50.  :/
6588  Other / Meta / Re: Where can I find new members to award with merits on: April 23, 2018, 07:04:59 PM
It's no good looking on the beginner's or discussion boards. They are all about bounty and air drops and social networking stuff. I'd like to award members that are interested in Bitcoin and reputable crypto currencies, but I've almost given up trying to find them.

I have the same problem.  I need to get rid of sMerit.

I'll send you 20 merits to track Cody Ceci down for civil proceedings.   Tongue
6589  Other / Meta / Re: I am flabbergasted that it actually happens on this scale on: April 23, 2018, 07:02:55 PM
It is probably worth it, if they can collect ~40.000$ in less then year.

It that forty dollars, or forty thousand dollars?

Forty thousand dollars worth of tokens yeah, but certainly not USD.

I am fairly sure that Vod is rejected by women when it is 365 days from the last Christmas (eg he doesn’t get rejected on Christmas Eve, on leap years, when some women are feeling extra *charitable*).

Surely this is the fault of Jesus. Roll Eyes

Thx man.   Undecided

I will continue to remind people that you hold onto 20 stolen bitcoins, and you lied about returning them.
6592  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: any customized fastest bitcoin software to mine bitcoins ? on: April 20, 2018, 05:28:13 PM
any customized fastest bitcoin software to mine bitcoins ?

You won't make enough to cover your power bills.  :/
6593  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller receives 20BTC, does not do work, keeps $ **not disputed!** on: April 20, 2018, 10:19:23 AM
P.S. Vod I can't find accounts of quite a few members on the site; e.g. http://dev.martinlawrence.ca/bpip/search.aspx?q=suchmoon are you updating something?

Look at the line "BPIP Parsing Progress:   225,733 (11.02 %)"

That tells you the largest number we have parsed so far.   If your ID number is higher than that, we haven't processed it yet.

My website was hacked after I made this thread, promoting Quickseller as an elite hacker.   Roll Eyes

Wow ... where did you get all those email addresses from?
6595  Economy / Reputation / Re: [NEW]Bounty Farmer -- NEED DT Member on: April 20, 2018, 01:41:35 AM

Can Google Docs contain malicious software?
6596  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller receives 20BTC, does not do work, keeps $ **not disputed!** on: April 20, 2018, 12:58:32 AM
I thought this was a joke but Quicksy isn't really known for his sense of humor... so he might be actually thinking that he could be a moderator:

Didn't he just post he doesn't spend that much time on that account anymore?    Roll Eyes

Hey Quicksy, if you are looking for a project to dump those 20 stolen coins and redeem yourself a bit, check my signature.  Smiley
6597  Other / Meta / Re: Please help remove a ban from my account. on: April 19, 2018, 03:05:08 PM

6598  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty Farmer [SPOTTED] on: April 19, 2018, 04:02:11 AM
Good day Everyone, I was hired by the manager to be one of the checker of a particular bounty campaign however this past few days there's someone who enrolled to our campaign see the picture attached (THE ONE WITH THE ORANGE COLOR) I think they're related to each other or controlled by only 1 person:

Send a PM to Lauda to read this.  She might even send you merit! Smiley
6599  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Bitcointalk user analysis on: April 17, 2018, 09:39:02 PM
Yes, scraping now 2nd mil user IDs. But it takes time because I limited requests/min.
Currently scraped about ~400K IDs

I think you and I are duplicating effort.  :/

Hello!

I can not find the section "Job" Smiley

Where can I place an ad and read other job ads?

Thank you!

Most of the job offers are in "Project Development" session https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=12.0

You are not allowed to discuss ICOs or alt coins in project development.

Only projects related to Bitcoin are allowed there.
