6581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam accept Bitcoin soon? on: February 10, 2016, 07:44:56 AM
Looks like this is pretty legit Steam is bringing Bitcoin to the platform no more buying gift cards from shady websites:)

+1

Also, provider this large accepting BTC s going to stimulate other similar companies to do the same.
It sounds and looks really good.

i am not so sure about the second part.

i remember about a year or so ago that i heard Dell (computer company) is accepting bitcoin and i thought that this is going to cause others to start accepting bitcoin too.

but as we see now, that didn't happen.
6582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll try to pay my dentist with BTC on: February 10, 2016, 07:35:29 AM
At the end of the month, I'll fly to Budapest for some heavy dental work, and I'm planning to pay with BTC. Has anyone ever paid his/her dentist with BTC? The dentist I'll see mostly has foreign patients traveling to Hungary because it's much cheaper, so BTC would be convenient for many of them. Any argument I could use to convince my dentist?

this is a revolutionary idea, but i think you are going to have a very hard time convincing your dentist to accept bitcoin.
because usually people are hesitant in accepting a new thing and changing their common ways. besides if he does not have any prior knowledge about bitcoin (never heard of it) he might even think you want to scam him!
6583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with $125 USD? on: February 10, 2016, 07:27:50 AM
Gamble it! What gets the adrenaline rushing more than the fear of losing everything?

yeah this is a good option if you are not looking for and investment, because it is fun and have the possibility of getting a bigger amount out of the experience.

but if you are looking for and investment for your bitcoin then it becomes the worst idea because the risk can go both ways and losing has a bigger chance of happening.
6584  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to invest? on: February 10, 2016, 07:21:04 AM
investment to me , I will use it for trade and our will share the profits , if you agree to PM me !
For a small fee, I ll show you a 100% safe way how to make about 4% a month.

do you mind sharing your method with me too?
at least tell me what field is the investment in so i can decide if i want to do it or not.
6585  Economy / Services / Re: Type Many Documents for Your on: February 10, 2016, 07:17:47 AM
Dont know how serious you are about that, but you should check this topic.

Its about retyping the WW2 documents (scanned pdf), payrate is/was 0.0006 btc/page.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1243523.msg12940206#msg12940206

Good luck.

it is too late now, if you take a look at the first post it seems like all the documents have been claimed and there are enough people working on it.
6586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with $125 USD? on: February 09, 2016, 02:04:53 PM
would it be a good idea to buy eth now?
i can afford like 40

@krunox USD in Bitcoin, currently 0.40785747 BTC $ 153.10

it might be. but i would never suggest anybody to gen into ETH at this stage.

because of the recent ETH pump it is going to be super risky to get in now, in other words it is highly possible that the price can go way down after you buy.

p.s. this is all speculation after all.
6587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: February 09, 2016, 01:46:22 PM
I think the best now invest in Bitcoins.

The price is quite low and you can buy it so easily.

If you wait a minute later, there is therefore a chance that you create later profits with Bitcoins.

You can tell the best investment in bitcoin?

buying is easy, but you must know when the price drops and the right time to buy.

if you are planning on buying bitcoin to hold it for a long time (for example a couple of years) then you don't have anything to worry about. just buy however much you can afford and keep it safe in a cold storage somewhere.

but if you want to day-trade then it is a different story. because every change is your lucky day no matter what the price is.
6588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 09, 2016, 01:42:54 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

things that are fun with a hint of risk are usually addictive. also add the money factor to the equation then you have got your self a highly addictive game.

everybody who has ever gambled knows the rush of doing it while taking risks and earning money by winning no matter how much you have lost before that.
6589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: February 09, 2016, 01:36:26 PM
for now I often play such gambling dice, because lately I'm lazy to work, so I just use a little bitcoin to play dice, it is my way to make money without thinking weight

for me dice is the best game that i can ever play while i am at work. when i am lazy and tired i can just pull out my phone and click that autobet and sit back and watch the bets go on and on for me.
6590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: February 09, 2016, 01:28:08 PM
this is the story of my life whenever i go to a gambling site. i am winning a little bit and as i feel cocky and the winnings are accumulating, bam comes a big loss where all my efforts go to waste.
6591  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think the price will rise again above $400 on: February 09, 2016, 01:23:18 PM
bitcoin price is surely working its way up to higher than $400 but it is getting there like a snail.

the speculation part is to predict the time it is going to get there in order to load up before the rise.
6592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam accept Bitcoin soon? on: February 09, 2016, 01:19:08 PM
wow, i can't believe my eyes. i was waiting for this moment for a couple of years now. i am going to be one of the first people who use it in steam. specially since i have been playing Dota2 i always wanted to buy those items with bitcoin.
6593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 01:11:34 PM
if there were a bitcoin bank (a bank that accepts bitcoin as investment like regular banks) that would be so cool. hard to trust, but very useful.
but the other way around which means the regular banks (which are working with fiat) accepting bitcoin, there is just no way. bitcoin is threatening their very own existence.
6594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin issue on: February 09, 2016, 01:02:06 PM
So for the last days I've tried to sell my services on the market place: signature, twitter posts and digital content.
......

the problem is not with people not wanting to spend their bitcoin. it is because the market is filled with what you have offered.
besides i am not sure how long did you try, but sometimes in any business it would take time for people to find out about you, in other words your luck starts and customers come to you. you have to be patient.
6595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: February 09, 2016, 12:56:42 PM
I'm waiting for the price dips but the question is when will the big price dump going to happen. There's around 200k sats of increase in price within the last 24 hours and that's big enough for most profiteers.

i missed the rocket to the moon and i was desperately looking for a good opportunity to get on that to get some profit but anyways i sure as hell not gonna go in right now even if it goes higher i don't wanna take such a huge risk, not worth it.
6596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: February 09, 2016, 12:49:58 PM
you can use faucet, bitcoin giveaway, altcoin giveaway, sell your services/skill, etc.
more way to collect bitcoin if you seriously to collect it

i like the altcoin giveaway collecting more than using bitcoin faucets. because those altcoin giveaways are usually of significant amount which you can easily convert to bitcoin.
6597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Netflix and YouTube Threaten Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 12:44:35 PM
it is always a growing contest out there. the bandwidth increase leads to bigger files, better qualities in case of videos and at the same time these bigger files would demand bigger bandwidth that is just the relationship that always existed but i still can't see how it can threaten bitcoin!
6598  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How exactly works cloud mining and is profitable start without any investment? on: February 09, 2016, 12:34:25 PM
Without any investment? How can you start to invest without any investment?

it is sometimes possible that some of these brand new (in some cases ponzi scheme) cloudmining sites offer some promotional ghs giveaways which you can start with.

i have earned some around 0.02BTC a year ago from these giveaway types and withdraw before they closed their ponzi Wink
6599  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex locking withdrawals , 12 hrs support ticket unanswered on: February 09, 2016, 12:28:03 PM
^^
this is most probably because he did not follow some of their rules, simple as that. people almost always click accepting the rules without reading them.
AFAIK they have set some strict rules about how much you can withdraw if you don't provide enough personal information.
6600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 07, 2016, 08:27:45 AM
in four years from now, if bitcoin continues on the same path that it is on right now, it is going to be worth a lot more than 370-400 USD which is worth now. because people are starting to know more about bitcoin and realize that all the FUD surrounding it was just FUD and start using it. which will lead to mass adoption and value increase.
