6581  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Marketong stragedy method im looking for partners for marketing soldiers on: September 08, 2018, 11:47:02 AM
People, who promote a product, service or website every day on social media are called spammers, not marketing soldiers. Grin Just kidding. What kind of product are you(and your marketing soldiers) promoting?
If you are looking to hire people, this thread should be moved to the "Services" sub-forum.
Can you tell us more about your project?
6582  Economy / Economics / Re: What's going on with Oil prices? on: September 08, 2018, 11:38:08 AM
Oil prices are going up and up in my country.

What is going on???

What's your country? It's almost impossible to speculate on why prices are rising without knowing where your'e talking about. Oil prices are subject to geopolitical considerations, but often times instability in a local market could cause oil prices to rise regionally where the larger market is unaffected. Is it that oil prices are rising in your country while not rising worldwide, or are they rising in your country at the same time as they are rising internationally?
yes you should say in which country you live, and how the economic situation in your country is so that the price of oil is expensive. because many factors can affect it all. inflation and deflation against the dollar can also affect, in addition to excessive import needs can also affect.

Georgia. It took a hit after Lira got raped in the ass by Trump. But internationally oil prices are going down, but it's going up here. Went up from 2 to 2.60 in few weeks.

If you are from Georgia, most of the oil import must be coming from Azerbaijan or atleast Russia.
I don't know anything about the political situation in that region.Probably the oil prices in the area are going up because of the civil war in Syria. There will be an attack over the city of Idlib and there will be  a new wave of refugees.
6583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many Americans purchased Crypto as of today? on: September 08, 2018, 11:33:34 AM
only about 8%! and only around 6% own BTC, double interesting Smiley

https://cointelegraph.com/news/how-many-americans-really-own-crypto-skewed-results-of-polls-and-surveys

and according to this article around 25% think it is a scam.

I don't think that this data is true.8% out of 325 milllion people is 26 million US citizens, which is quite a lot.
I don't believe that more than 2 million americans have any substantial crypto holdings.
The real percentage of americans, who think that btc is scam must be around 50%.
25% is too low. Grin
6584  Economy / Speculation / Satis Group-Bitcoin might reach 96K by 2023 on: September 08, 2018, 05:55:26 AM
According to Satis Group(google it,if you don't know anything about them) Bitcoin price will reach 96K USD by the end of 2023 and 144K USD by the end of the next decade(around 2030).The second most valuable coin will be Monero with a 18K USD price.Coins like ethereum and litecoin are doomed to fail in the long run, according to the market analysts.
Well,I don't trust such predictions, but this is the speculation sub-forum and we always discuss those type of "market analysis" here.Any thoughts about this?
6585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Insurance for Exchanges - Does it matter to you? on: September 08, 2018, 05:34:24 AM
Insurance coverage is not important in crypto currency. It just add to the expenses to the investors, further, how could a insurance company pays crypto holders in something happen in the exchange? We are decentralized and we move in our own risk.

I kinda agree with that.No insurance company will pay anything to the crypto exchange customers,if the crypto exchange platform itself turns out to be an exit scam.Saying that a crypto exchange has insurance will create a false sense of security and more people will join and put their coins into a possible exit scam.
The crypto trading risk can't be reduced by insurance.
6586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Method of Veryfying transactions?! on: September 08, 2018, 05:25:13 AM
New method?Really?
Anyway, what if Sam requests 10 coins from Michael and Michael has only 2 coins in his wallet?
Will the final result be +10 coins for Sam and -8 for Michael(hence,8 new coins were created from nothing)?
The only possible solution for this problem is that Michael doesn't confirm the transcation request made by Sam.Buy,what if he confirms it?
I don't think that this is a new consept, but I like theoretic models anyway. Grin
6587  Economy / Economics / Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin on: September 07, 2018, 11:55:45 AM
The 2008 stock market crash was created by the banks and the lack of good financial regulations.
Now,the US financial system is more regulated,so I don't expect another crash soon. However,if a crash happens, smart people will HODL their assets(stocks or crypto,it doesn't matter) and stupid people will panic sell everything they have and leave the markets with a loss.Bitcoin might be hit as well, but it will recover, for sure.
6588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin ready to pump (september 2018)? on: September 07, 2018, 06:56:12 AM
Is Bitcoin ready to pump?
After a long wait, everyone wonders when Bitcoin will make a big pump. Many altcoins depend on Bitcoin and so it has some effect on them. So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

Nope.Bitcoin will not go up and we shouldn't expect a big drop. The price will be moving around 6000-7000 USD and nothing important will happen during September. The SEC decision will most likely be postponed again,so the waiting for the future approval will create some fake hopes amongst the newbies.SEC won't approve bitcoin as a ETF for sure.
6589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in an ICO? on: September 07, 2018, 06:50:09 AM
I never invest in ICOs.My advice for the newbies is to never invest in any ICO,ever.
They could put some coins into buying ICO tokens, but they should never expect any profit from it.
Just think about ICOs like they are crowdfunding projects, not actual digital "stocks".People donate for crowdfunding projects, because they like the consept/idea,not because they want to make profits.
I don't know about any profitable ICOs so far.
6590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This strategy is mostly used for price manipulation on: September 07, 2018, 06:43:38 AM
I don't think that this is exactly price manipulaiton.
Those crypto news sites publish only what the people want to read. Most of the crypto users want positive, optimistic news about bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies,so those crypto news blogs just serve that purpose. If the bitcoin price does up after a bunch of optimistic publications in those news sites, this is a self-fulfilling prophecy, not a price manipulation.
6591  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin possible price on the last quarter of 2018 on: September 06, 2018, 12:23:13 PM
Questions like "Will the bitcoin price reach a new ATH?" are totally stupid.
The smart question is "What are the factors that will drive the bitcoin price to a new ATH?"We should think about this question all the time. Will the crypto whales push the bitcoin price up or the army of newbies?
Will more institutional investors ste up into the crypto markets or no?
Will China,India and South Korea accept more liberal regulations over cryptocurrency trading?
6592  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentina struggles with yet another financial crisis! on: September 06, 2018, 12:18:04 PM
I wonder what is causing this hyperinflation in Argentina. I know it was the same story back in 2016.

They are saying the video that political decisions are causing this but usually only happens for countries that are in a "direct" conflict with the US like Turkey or Iran and this usually happens once in a decade not every two years.
Its very unfortunate for this country to experience again 2 years after the previous crisis. I think this kind of situation in a country will around soon around the world, currently here in my place the Inflation rate increase and make its new all time high after 9 years. Second world financial crisis might happen soon, maybe cryptocurrency can help that country and its people but I think its hard for them to adopt it since government are still not making decision about cryptocurrency.

There's no hyperinflation in Argentina, just a recent 15% drop of the national currency against the US dollar.
The government will have to cut it's costs and raise some taxes,in order to balance the budget.
The real problem is that it might create banking panic, which will lead to bankcrupcy and hyperinflaiton.
6593  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can decrease economic development on: September 06, 2018, 05:53:51 AM
To be honest, I panicked reading your post, because you are right, it is quite dangerous if the farmers stop working because they turn into bitcoin traders and leave their farms and make food and fruits less and less because there are no farmers who want to replant the plants,
and I hope that this can be balanced, farmers still want to plant and not focus on bitcoin trading.

Do you really think that all the farmers will sell their farms and buy mining hardware or cryptocurrencies? Grin
Really???This is ridiculous.Crypto mining isn't always profitable, crypto trading requires trading skills that are totally different than the skills, which are necessary for a good farmer.Farmers will stay farmers, but it would have been great,if they sell their goods for cryptocurrency payments.
6594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and actually selling/buying with it on: September 06, 2018, 05:47:09 AM
I just stumbled upon a post where a guy is selling an android tablet for X amount of BTC and thought "ya... thats some risky stuff right there" and realized actual reasonable usage of BTC isn't so far away.

Think about all of the devices coming out with NFC capability. Combine this with a quality, proven app on say android/iOS and you have a good replacement for cash/paypal for in-person transactions. There is no specific worries about trust, as it is just as risky as a cash/goods handover in person and what address someone is using is not an issue either, as the apps would store all that information automatically and transfer over the appropriate info when the 'bump' is made.

What do you guys think? To me, this sounds pretty sweet and something that could reasonably become a possibility.

The most important question is:"How we will stop all the scammers, who will try to abuse the system?"
I would say that the merchants(or the trading platform) will have to offer:
1.Refund option.
2.Buyer/sellers review/ratings system.
3.Dispute/arbitrage option.
Well,services like Openbazaar offer those features,but Openbazaar isn't that popular(probably because it's a software,not a website or an Android/iPhone app).
6595  Economy / Economics / Re: Capitalism will make socialist ideals a reality on: September 05, 2018, 12:51:35 PM
Socialist countries may have happier citizens because their basic needs are covered and they wouldn't starve if they're out of the job, but you don't see much innovation coming out of these countries. Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon-these are products of capitalism. People are abundantly awarded for their work because don't have to pay astronomical income taxes in capitalist countries.

The way I see it, this process is now on its way to making socialist values a reality. "Equality of the people" is among the most prioritized.

The latest technology being driven by financial gain seems to be AI and VR/AR technology. This will be the great equalizer of the people. Things will become much cheaper to produce, and once-exclusive experiences will be available to everyone for very cheap. All things are on their way to becoming accessible to all people in the developed world, due to the inherently low cost of digital assets.

Thoughts on this?

USA is a "capitalist" country, but I think that the US income taxes are quite big,if not "astronomical". Grin
I don't think that you distinquish socialist countries from communist/totalitarian countries.I don't know wether or not the sitizens of North Korea are happy.Maybe they are, because they are still alive, maybe they aren't.Who knows? All that "capitalism vs. socialism" shit is completely obsolete.China is a very capitalist country with big social inequality, but with communist government.
6596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New type of scammers in telegram! Keep your bitcoins safe! Watch out! on: September 05, 2018, 12:43:44 PM
What would you call this type of scam?  Is it ICO or cryptocurrency related scam or romance scam?  Either way, if you found love on Telegram, your prayers have been answered, however, when your supposed love now starts demanding for stuffs to be paid in cryptocurrency, then, you should wise up.  Do not fall into all these romances to the extent of dropping your Private Key, some people could be that easy to manipulate. Other scam included but not limited to those who would message one out of the blues to buy coins directly from them. We all know this, caution needs to be taken here.

This type of scam has a name. It's called ewhoring and it's a black hat way to drive converting leads to dating affiliate programs or to trick the victim to pay using cryptocurrency or giftcards for a private cam show.
This is a pretty old scam method.People can find lots of info about ewhoring in forums like Hackforums.net...
I guess that all the "ewhores" had moved from Skype,Kik and Snapchat to Telegram. Angry
6597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FREE trading e-book for newb and advanced traders $$$ on: September 05, 2018, 06:15:26 AM
I have read the ebook, and i think the contents of the ebook are the same as other crypto trading ebooks that i have read, and its contents are more towards preparing mentally before trading. i understand it because basically most of the things that influence trading are fundamental abilities and experience, such as reading the market, estimating sentiments affected by news/information, and the rest is a technical skill. But it's interesting when whose the made this ebook is the exchanger that will launch soon. Nice try....

Yeah, ebook giveaways are just a cheap marketing trick. They give away something for free, but in return you signup to their email list, register an account on their website,or they just build brand awareness.
Free ebooks don't have any value in terms of information or sharing some kickass tips and tricks.
If the information is was really valuable, you will have to pay,in order to have it.
6598  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments Call on Tech Giants to Build Encryption Backdoors -- Or Else on: September 05, 2018, 06:09:46 AM
If the big tech giants lower their encryption standarts,a part of their customers(the more tech savvy ones, who want more security) might move to the crypto world.I don't think that the crypto world will abide by such rules ever.If the people are afraid that the govenments are spying them, they will choose desentralized paltforms with strong encryption. This is just a theory. Grin
6599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Robot trading volume war on: September 04, 2018, 11:33:56 AM
Using trading robots to trade real coins is not fake or illegal.Manipulating the trading volume and liquidity by adding fake transactions is illegal and should be punished. That's why we need more regulations over the cryptocurrency exchange platforms,NOT over their customers(KYC,ID verify,etc.).
I guess that's why cryptocurrencies will never become mainstream. Angry
6600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Discussion] What's best for the future of Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2018, 05:48:21 AM
Bitcoin has the value from its buyers and holders only. So bitcoin cannot be a store of value unless bitcoin is used in trade and commerce.

For 700,000,000 people worldwide to use Bitcoin as invest or digital asset, the price has to be $600 to $1200

The actual bitcoin price doesn't matter, when it comes to using it for daily purchases.Bitcoin can be divided into 1 million parts,so it doesn't matter if 1 bitcoin is 1200 USD or 20K USD.The real problems are  the price volatility and the confusion created by the national legislations. Most of the business owners still don't know is bitcoin illegal or not, will they be penalized,if they accept btc payments, what happens if they don't convert their btc,in order to pay taxes.
