6581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 10, 2017, 03:43:41 PM
Make sense. With trading, if you don't know what you are doing and you just keep on trading without any plan at all as to when to exit or sell, you are just like gambling. Much more if you are trading money that you can't afford to lose - it would be painful.

We should first make sure that the money we use for gambling or trading is something that we can spend or afford. I still think that we will have better chance to get money in trading than gambling although Im not really a fan of both because I will choose investment if I want to get some money

Yeah. At first, if you're starting only with trading, there's not much of a difference but experience would be the difference maker. The more you trade, the more you'll be efficient in making good predictions since you've been into all different situations already. Unfortunately you xan't say the same about experience when it comes to gambling
6582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: September 10, 2017, 03:41:16 PM
Everyone had good and bad moments and gambling, but mostly bad moments are more often than good ones. Gambling is fun, but the odds of winning is too low. In gambling winning is a goal that's why it's often for gamblers to lose. Gambling makes good money but it's risky. There's a chance to multiply your money multiple times, but same goes with losing.
You can multiply your money in just a few seconds, but in few seconds only you will lose everything. We do not play gambling with the intention of making money. You can just play your game to win your bet but don't chase your loss. It will give you more loss. When people lose more money in a row that time, people will take sudden decision to stop gambling.

Indeed. Notice how making money is less likely to happen than losing a lot especially if you're gamblig for an extended time. Don't let yourself be dragged to the bottom with gambling addiction and make the right decision against excessive gambling
6583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: September 10, 2017, 03:36:44 PM
I've been gambling for almost 15 years now, the only benefit that I could see on gambling is that, it is fun and it relives stress. And, through gambling, you can find new friends. Besides from that, gambling would do you nothing good. Gambling makes people greedy and makes them lose everything they have.

We share the same perspective dude. Its the only thing we cam positively get from gambling, well along with a few winnings i suppose. The most important would probably be the realization after you lose money. Then you'll know how to put importance to.the money you spent
6584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: September 10, 2017, 03:34:19 PM
Limits are mostly set for people who have gambling problems and people who lack self control when it comes to gambling, They normally lose control and spend almost everything on them if they want to win, The best way to control oneself when gambling, is to take a limited amount of money to the casino so that should you eventually lose it all, you have no option but to go home and stop gambling for the night.
I think it's the other wat around though. Limits are not set by people with gambling issues. Limits are set by responsible gamblers who are aware of what the consequences are if they lose control, so they instictively set a limit for themselves.
6585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: September 10, 2017, 03:31:50 PM
I tend to play until i'm satisfied so usually i keep playing even using my profit. It's high risk but i'm willing to take it for higher gain.
Well just accept the possibilities that will happen if you lose all of your winnings after you play again and take high risk, because there is no assurance in gambling and we can't tell if you can gain profit if you take high risk.

Well as long as you're decided and is willing to accept the consequences without regret, then its ok whether you play with your profit or not. If you really enjoy gambling that much, then you won't mind which are you playing with
6586  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: September 10, 2017, 03:25:42 PM
There is no reason to push the use of Bitcoin and I do not know why you guys always push that agenda. It is going to make its way in as fast as it will and that is fine. There is nothing that we are going to get out of it being used more that we have not gotten already and there is no reason to push it. Bitcoin will make it way in the society naturally and automatically with time.

I agree.  It's already happening.  The 'tipping point' will come and then BTC will be everywhere.
It's already happening btc has become popular in any ways as today. With the bitcoin value that grows daily it is pushing the normal way. It has been adapting by more users that bitcoin become well known. So  others it is been using already.
Asians and Africans have not fully figured out about Bitcoin since there are still many who are not yet literate about the internet in asia and africa.

Well that's looking well beyond the regular use of bitcoin and probably one day it can be adressed. But right now, let's just look at how we can promote.it within our own communities. Im positive that more people have at least heard of bitcoin so it's not going to be as hard as a few years ago
6587  Economy / Economics / Re: The phrase to describe Bitcoin on: September 10, 2017, 02:00:33 PM
In this phrase is how I explain Bitcoin in all senses.

"Bitcoin is the most free and pure form of a crowd-economy, free from the oppression of governments."

Well for me, it opened up my eyes to a broader view of the market, that's not controlled by governments and banks. More options, more opportunities safer and faster transactions, i didn't give a damn about all these until i became aware of.bitcoin
6588  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: September 09, 2017, 04:30:48 PM
As long as there is internet bitcoin will always live like theres no end.

Not necessarily. Bitcoin may evolve or it may ve replaced by etherium or other cryprocurrencies that haven't been released yet. One thing's for sure, the more people trusting btc, the stronger it will get and with the number of people supporting it right now, i cam say bitcoin will last for a long time
6589  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: September 09, 2017, 04:19:20 PM
Poor people and small businesses rely on cash. A contactless system will likely entrench poverty and pave the way for terrifying levels of surveillance

http://www.theguardian.com/money/commentisfree/2016/mar/21/fear-cashless-world-contactless

Discussion
A cashless system will not work everywhere especially the third world countries, we are very much dependent on using cash to make about 99% of all our transactions, there are also illiterate individuals that won't simply understand how the system is going to work in it's entirety and that will pose too many troubles for the system. It's not worth the trouble.
that’s sad but there are still many places in the world where you can easily find cities and cities full of illiterate people who just wake up in the dawn to work whole day for their meals and return home at dusk. Such people are never ever going to adjust into cashless society and they do make significant portion of our population.
We need to adjust our self to the innovative technologies because it might become the game changer for us and become something that we don't expect. We are lucky that we are in the beta of the cashless society because we are in bitcoin on its few years of age and it is starting to revolutionize the world and we can say that cashless kind of thing is a great for people who want to leave their job and earn more money through bitcoin.

Exactly. It shouldn't be feared but we should start thinking about how it will benefit us all in the long run. I don't see us going cashless anytime soon but we should already be able to incorporate cashless transactions to make ourselves aware of how it works
6590  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 09, 2017, 04:12:52 PM
I think investing in bitcoin is not good let alone invest all the money in bitcoin form, because it is easily taken by the heaker if less alert.
That's why you have to invest what you can afford to lose. Otherwise, you just throwing away your money to whales if you don't do any research and calculated the risk. Bitcoin isn't a game, so you have to think twice before doing any action which may make you lose.

Well that's not proving that bitcoin isn't a good investment. In fact, if done quite correctly, it probably would be the best investment you're going to make in the next few years. And research applies to pretty much any investment, not only bitcoin.
6591  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 09, 2017, 04:08:25 PM
Well it will be best to try to predict the prices. Right now bitcoin's price went down again because of the news from China. It would be better to try to read the news and check if it will have positive feedback on bitcoin and if it does buy some bitcoins while the price is still low and wait till it increases again.

It went down a little bit though but not enough to cause concern and not even enough to think about buying since the dip is not really that significant and it keeps on recovering pretty quick.
6592  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: September 09, 2017, 04:02:59 PM
I choose bitcoin because the of the main reason that I can get the opportunity to invest, I have never been an investor in my entire life except when I found bitcoin, it gives us the ease to invest as it does not require us to comply with the regulatory requirement.
Because why would you not choose it. Besides being an asset it will be a digital currency that will give you the opportunity to invest and to have savings. Bitcoin will always be a great help in every peoples live. It will not just help you financial life but also your social life. And also some of you attitude.
I don't agree to improving or helping you in your social life because when you are a bitcoin user then you will have a lot of time that needed to be focus in bitcoin and the time will come that you will not be able to deal with your friends and the other people in your town so it is against or opposite because you need to sacrifice your social life to gain better financial cash flow.
Indeed, when you become to a Bitcoin user, your family, your friends, your wife (or lover) will away from you, it inversely proportional to your success in Bitcoin Grin. Example me, almost people around me now are thinking me look like an autistic boy Cool

What the heck are you talking about? Especially now that bitcoin is becoming well known in a lot of countries, who would think you're an autostic boy? It seems you're just not effectively introducing or explaining what bitcoin is and how it works
6593  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: September 09, 2017, 03:03:18 PM
All of us is to dream to become rich so thats why we find a why and how to be rich, becuase if we are rich we can buy anything we want and we can build a beautiful house and we can feed our family in a nutritious food. But if we are rich must better to make a business so thats why to be rich its going steady.
financial stability would be the best things that we all wanted to have, some might look for richness but me I would love to see myself stable
with the help of bitcoin and just to produce business and a quality house that will served as our investment for my kids.

Yeah its not bad to dream of having more than enough money to spare but i agree, try to focus on the essentials first and know what needs to be attemded to more. If you're going to be rich, it will come in time but with a lot of work and effort
6594  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: September 09, 2017, 03:00:29 PM
many of my friends did not work but a lot of money away was great when compared, to me that is still working in the factory, I was confused from where producer obtained from bitcoin?

Bitcoin is digital market money, we are income easily. bitcoin earn Technic like signature campaigns here, faucets, etc. along with this, one can also make some good amount in btc through skill works like  developing and  web designing.

But we should do something more than just bounty campaign, things that contribute to bettering Bitcoin, even in small ways

Simply by using it we're already helping out bitcoin's cause and spreading awareness about it. The ways we can profit are abundant and just needs for us to grab these opportunities bitcoin presents
6595  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Video games on: September 09, 2017, 02:59:49 PM
There are some of the website which offers bitcoin by playing games but in fact the reward is too low mostly in less than mBTC. If you want to earn BTC then don't go for these faucet earnings, but if you have an interest in games and low earning doesn't matters ( doesn't seems) than go for it. Have a look on these websites i think this will help you www.gamefaucets.com and www.funforcoin.com.

Yeah i agree. I was previously trying to make btcs that way but as you've said, it takes really a long time.and a lot of effort before you get a minimal amount in satoshis. And i haven't yet tried withdrawing anything from those sites so i'm not sure if it's reliable
6596  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: September 09, 2017, 02:51:01 PM
In addition to reducing unemployment bitcoin can also be an alternative to find additional money for those who already work
Yes I agree with this in addition to reducing unemployment bitcoin able to supplement income for people who are already working, But indeed in fact true with the bitcoin able to reduce unemployment so bitcoin able to make people make money by alternative way.
In this case bitcoin is able to help our economy.
Yes i agree, because bitcooin can be their source of income. Instead of finding a job that not appliicable to their subjects. Bitcoin is for everyone. It can be access using internet. So if you have enough knowledge about bitcoin it can help you financially.
I’ll say the same. Bitcoin has changed the lives of so many people who are dealing with it and investing with it, thus bringing more opportunities for the people to earn money.

And I think it is playing a very vital role in eradicating the unemployment from the society and it will keep on doing so.
yeah bitcoin really has become a problem solver for many people. especially for those who do not have a job. including me. now I've graduated from college and I have not had any job in real life yet. very lucky because I'm a bitcoin user and I invest and have a business in bitcoin, so earning from bitcoin really helps my finances, this is a small example, how bitcoin reduces unemployment

But that shouldn't stop you from at least trying to have a professional career. Definitely i agree with you about bitcoin becoming a solution for people in need of money, but it shouldn't hinder you also from pursuing your goals because of profiting largely from it
6597  Economy / Economics / Re: What is occurring when someone sells 1 BTC at a price lower than he/she bought? on: September 09, 2017, 02:47:10 PM
I don't know what really happened to you at that day,, maybe on a hurry or just assumed that the deal is break you even.. But the case is you loss $100 and that is not a small amount to begin with.. Maybe your out of cash and needed for more promising opportunity at that moment.. A loss is a loss and so it might be a good experience as an advantage..

What will occur immediately after that kind of loss is normally regret and frustration. If you're dealing with bitcoin, it seldom happens that you'll end up with loss of capital because btc price isn't as unpredictable as other altcoins. When you see the price go down, just wait and eventually it will bounce back
6598  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: September 09, 2017, 02:42:32 PM
I think everyone makes savings for big profits, because someone who invests definitely wants to make a profit rather than lose money. I myself hold the bitcoin to be stored in my wallet, because i want to sell it when bitcoin prices go up and i get the benefits automatically.
I honestly do not want to invest my bitcoin for risky investments.

Well the first thing that comes to mind when you talk about saving for a long time is simply profit. There's really not much into it and it's proven that if you are patient enough not to withdraw or sell your btcs, the amount you have today would have grown considerably after a few years
6599  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: September 09, 2017, 02:29:05 PM
I think that the world will not completely give up cash, because in case of failure, a person will not be able to sell or buy anything. Cash will probably be less, but they will exist.
Cash has been used for centuries for buying and selling goods, moreover people are really comfortable with cash since it is easy to deal with. There are chances that in the near future the usage of cash decreases but as you said, it won’t disappear forever. People will always love to carry cash.

Being cashless would have its own repercussions in today's society. You can't really expect to go exclusively cashless because it acts as backup when things go wrong with online and crypto. People won't be too keen in dropping cash anytime soon
6600  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 09, 2017, 02:25:25 PM
Money matters. Everyone nowadays is in a urge of earning it just lead a decent life. Yes it can be kept above as it is necessary sustain all the basic needs.

Yeah. Even if we say it's not everything  you need in life, money still is an important aspect in anyone's life. You can't really do much now if you don't have money so even though it's not above all, it still ranks high up on the essentialnfor living list
