6581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suddenly, Russia Plans To Ban Cryptocurrency Sales To ‘Ordinary People’ on: October 01, 2017, 03:45:46 AM
This is surely a bad idea as this decision doesn't give any justice to the ordinary people.
Everybody should be given a chance to invest in crypto currency. They say that it is highly risky then they should make decisions such as people should be able to invest in it at their own risk not banning it completely for ordinary people.
The sudden decision by them is surely a planned one and i guess there is something fishy that will surely come out at some point of time.
Even like that, it has the positive side, the fraud in cryptocurrency will significantly decrease because only extraordinary people will have the privilege to invest or to trade a digital asset.
By the way, it's all planned as you say because government always do research before making a decision.
They should have planned their decision well in this case. It's good that the scamming of cryptos will be decreased by this decision but then there is also a negative point that ordinary people like me, who do have a good knowledge and experience about crypto will not be able to invest in it just because we are not heavy investors. Also that beginners would not be able to be a part of cryptos. So the only people who will be in cryptos will be the ones who are already in it and there will be no new participants unless he/she is already rich. So this according to me is a huge down side to this decision.
P.S: I am not from Russia and "people like me" was just an example as there would be many people from this criteria in Russia.
6582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Voting with a Blockchain on: September 29, 2017, 07:02:14 AM
This might be another use of the blockchain. Whether or not the government use it for voting, they will surely try to adopt in their region if they come to know the advantages it has over the regular voting systems. It might be a leading step towards crypto for the countries who haven't legalized crypto currencies yet in their region. It is a good idea but would require a lot of planning to execute it in a proper way.

6584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin phased out on: September 29, 2017, 06:47:25 AM
Bitcoin cannot be phased out that easily because it has a widespread population from all over the world. Bitcoin has acquired a tremendous amount of people using it on a regular basis and so in order for bitcoin to phase (which is almost impossible) the so called new digital currency has to acquire more number of people than bitcoin does. And this won't be happening in this decade. So there is no chance for Bitcoin to phase out as long as we live.
6585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: September 28, 2017, 05:08:22 AM
The first thing I do before investing in any coin is read the crypto news on different platforms and gather as much information as I can about the particular coin. That's called as doing your homework Tongue . After that I read the charts and I see how well the coin has performed in the past few days and I make a prediction(although its of no use to make a prediction in crypto) about the coin and then invest the amount into the coin.
P.S. Never invest all your money into a coin. Keep some for future as we will need it to buy more coins if the price decreases.
6586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: need help please. on: September 28, 2017, 05:03:16 AM
That's the negative/positive point of crypto currencies. Once a transaction is approved and coins are sent, it cannot be reversed unless someone is sending it back to you. I say it negative because once gone is gone and I say it positive because it's impossible for hackers to hack to acquire a refund on your behalf. So pay attention while doing crypto transactions and stay alert as to not sending your money into wrong addresses.
6587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which alt coin should i buy today on: September 28, 2017, 04:53:08 AM
It depends on how long you are planning on to hold the coin. According to me DGB should be a good coin to invest in right now as it is already at a lower price and apart from that I just read a thread where they told that a new DGB website based on blockchain is being released on OCT 1. The link to the twitter post is https://twitter.com/DigiByteCoin/status/910498664887443456 . So if this is true then DGB might see a spike in the price and it might be a good time now to buy DGB.
6588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Ethereum Is Not a Bubble on: September 28, 2017, 04:46:06 AM
Ethereum created their ecosystem and it will not bubble anymore. I still see these prices very low for ethereum.
I believe what you said is quite true. The price of Ethereum is indeed low. It has the potential to be at $1000 but is undervalued and I gues the major reason for it to not increase in price is the fact that major industries use Ethereum as a technology and not as a currency. If the top industries used it as a currency then ETH would be crossing $1000 easily and create a new peak in the market but being used as a technology keeps it at a low cost. I guess when more people adopt it as a currency it will be at a higher price and till then it will be swaying at this price.
6589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All this Speculation is meaningless or please correct me on: September 28, 2017, 04:36:30 AM
Bitcoin and Altcoin are correlated to each other but not 100%. This is because they are all crypto currency. just like gold and silver.
Yeah that's absolutely correct. Bitcoin and Altcoin have a common relation and that is that they both are cryptocurrencies. So it is natural for them being relevant to each other. But it is not necessary all the time and it does not mean that if Bitcoin goes down then Altcoins will go down for sure.
It all depends on the market demand about a particular coin. 1 out of 10 times I have seen that the market of Bitcoin and Altcoin goes in opposite directions. The coin which has more demand is favorable on the positive side whereas the coins with low or no demand goes down.
6590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can DGB Achieve Their New High? on: September 28, 2017, 04:24:01 AM
This sounds like a good news for me as I am a DGB lover. I have invested in this coin and waiting for it to reach new heights. DGB has been idle for quite a few months now and I have been waiting for it to increase in price since the beginning. I guess after it releases its website DGB might recover the price and reach upto 600 satoshis and if the CITI bank news becomes true then it will surely reach 1500 satoshis.
I think we should buy DGB now to acquire a good profit later.
6591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is INFX pumping? on: September 28, 2017, 04:11:19 AM
Just do a search and it's obvious.  One singular person has posted like 10 threads (in multiple languages) about INFX trying to create hype in the last 2 days.  It wouldn't take much at all for it to jump because the volumes are abysmally low.  Don't get sucked in.
Yeah , don't get sucked in. People who plan for a pump and dump  usually try to create a hype in the market by telling people it had potential, it is going to increase or they just spread some sort of rumor in order to spread a hype in the market and then when people buy the specific coin and the price increases the pumper dumps all his coins in the market and take out the profits. There is no reason and time for a pump and dump to take place. I have a lost quite an amount money in pump and dump in my beginning days of trading and that's why I advice everybody to stay far away from pump and dump.
6592  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoincollector a legit site? on: September 27, 2017, 03:15:30 AM
I have not used this site but have come across sites like these in the beginning days of my Bitcoin journey. Who wouldn't want some free BTC right Grin But believe me , they don't add up to make any profit for the time we invested in it. It is similar to faucet paying out a few satoshis for a few clicks on their website. It is just a waste of time since there are other things you could do to earn some BTC. Use the search option and try looking for threads that have methods to earn some BTC.
6593  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Japan’s Regulators Are Putting Bitcoin Exchanges Under Heavy Surveillance on: September 27, 2017, 02:57:43 AM

This is not good... South Korea, US and EU could follow Japan and this will lead to serious price drop.
They are just trying to ruin all alt-coins and collect taxes under the 'protecting customers'. I guess I will transfer all my coins to Monero and DeepOnion.
I don't really think this would be a problem. How could they "Ruin" altcoins by collecting taxes because the trading fees would be the same for all the coins. Unless they increase the trading fee and withdrawal charges I don't think they will be ruining any coins. Japan would surely be the largest bitcoin exchange as the Chinese have shut down exchanges. Japan is taking a step towards rectifying any future bugs through its active inspection and that wouldn't cause any increase in price. If there is an increase in price then whatever you said might be true. Let us wait and see what the result would be.

How average Bitcoin users are getting rich online by helping money launderers.

Well, this is a clear example how FUD and spreading FUD is working.
The author must be paid for this load of sh*t or it's just totally ignorant.

Otherwise we all would be very very rich, right?
Totally true. Sites like these are the reason why people think Bitcoin is not a safe investment and people like the author who is promoting that shit site are the reason for spreading FUDs and ponzis in the market. I don't know why OP has referred this site here unless he is getting something out of it. OP I would request you to stop promoting or referring websites like these who have the motive to scam innocent people and run away with their hard earned money.
6595  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to provide liquidity for a new exchange? on: September 27, 2017, 02:36:48 AM
Although I don't have much idea about providing liquidity, I do have some ideas through which you could get new users at your website for beginning the trading.
  • 0% fee is quite obvious as a new exchange shouldn't charge its users at the beginning stage of its development
  • sign up bonus can be given to new users who register at your website and deposit an initial amount
  • investment scheme like yobit investbox could be added to your website so that people could invest in it (but make sure the initial investment is less as people would not want to make a huge investment in a new website)
  • Keep all your charges as low as possible as it will attract new users to your exchange
  • you can also try doing partnership with investors or other exchanges
6596  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: not connected to hitbtc on: September 27, 2017, 02:23:06 AM
for 2 days i cant acces hitbtc, the page always said " not connected trying to reconnect ", do you guys have the same probblem like me?
The site is working fine for me too which shows that there is some problem at you end and there is no problem with the site. There might be some issues which you may need to check out
  • Connectivity problem
  • Network issue
  • Browser issue
  • Virus infection(Yes, a virus infection can stop you from using your internet)
Also I would like to know whether is this the only site which is not loading or is this the problem with all the websites ?
6597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advice about wallets on: September 27, 2017, 02:09:07 AM
Is bittrex safe with all securities?
At the present time now, I would say yes it is safe now. But I just don't know how long it will be safe, like what I said it safer than the other exchange platform. So, you can keep your coins in bittrex for the mean time.
Bittrex is safe in terms of trading and exchange. It is mostly used exchange for trading as it has high market cap and a good collection of coins.
I really don't know if it is safe for storing coins in its wallet because i have heard from many that never store your coins on an exchange. Although bittrex is safe we never know what might happen tomorrow. So if you are planning on to store your coins then an offline wallet will be a great choice and if you want to trade coins then bittrex would be the best choice.
6598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardwallet for erc20. on: September 26, 2017, 05:03:27 AM
I know of two options that you can try doing if you want to store you Ethereum in a hardware wallet.
Trezor - It is a hardware wallet which I think you would be knowing by now.
Ledger Nano S - Its a hardware wallet where we can store BTC, ETH and altcoins. Its new in the market and provides good security measures.
These two are the best yet in the field and will provide you safety and assurity.
6599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most secure way to keep your Ethereum safe on: September 26, 2017, 04:49:51 AM
Most people who have their ETH tokens, use myetherwallet to store the ICO tokens. It is one among the best wallets out there to store ETH and tokens built on the ETH platform. Other than this Coinbase can also be used to store the ETH coins. They have an online wallet as well as an app that can be downloaded on our smartphones. We can keep a track of our coins from our phones if we the coinbase wallet app installed in our phones.
6600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening with SIA coin on: September 26, 2017, 04:44:50 AM
What is happening with SIA coin? Cry Cry
Sia coin price falling down very much.I don't know what I am doing now.Because i have many Sia coin.I buy it per sia coin at 0.00000283.But at present sia coin price is 0.00000129.I am not sure when sia coin go back its past price.Because i need loss recover.

Yeah man, Siacoin was one of my favourite coins in the list of cryptos. SC was at 500 staoshis when I started trading but I feel really bad when I look at its price now. I had bought SC st those prices and was fortunate enough to sell it back at those prices. I never knew SC would go this down and stay in the same position for months. It has been a very long time now since SC has crossed 300 sat . Feel bad for you that you are holding so many Siacoins from a long time.
