The thing is probably a scam, But really if the original dev was actually able to make a sound token contract this could of been a great coin. It could of been a faster alternative to bitcoin.I really think this could of been 100 dollars each in a short amount of time if this was a legit project from the start.
The actions of satoshi21 has broken a lot of the hype and trust for eBTC.
That is all they have to do is provide a sound contract for the swap. This has gotten so much attention that so many copycats have come from it but yet none of them have survived like ebtc. People are fickle my friend and when this moves straight up again people will jump all over it. This is just getting started. |

People are still wanting to buy what Satashi sold and never wanted - ebtc - and you don't even know his real name and the fake so-called new dev. team refuse to tell anyone his real name and address, because there is no new dev. team, and they have two different new websites, and the old main website is shut-down.
Below is a new dev. and he himself admits they do NOT have the keys. Hello? It's all lies. You all think if there were a new contract swap that it would solve anything. From day one, ebtc was all based on lies and deception and there is no reason to shut down everything and run unless one did a crime and left dodge.
Yet, people want to believe all the lies and new lies and even more lies. Lies betting lies.

You probably remember me from last week when I helped to explain the flaw in the contract.
I was approached by the "new Team" to write the contract but they refuse to use an escrow to guarantee my compensation and will only work with me if I give them the code up front.
I would need help getting everyone to stop trading from a specific block and after the code is validated, I would need 1-5 ether to do the new disbursement.
The new code has the added feature of multiparty transfer(used for re-disbursement) and multiparty transfer from(both allow multiple transfers for less gas).
I would keep 50k of the new eBTC for myself from the 362k currently in the "New Team" wallet and use the rest to fund additional support contracts like multi party split for auto disbursements of received funds, Merchant APIs, Client wallets for web, iPhone and Android.
I would recommend not trading any tokens until after everything settles. If the new team sells any of the 362k tokens, I may need to disburse based on balances before they did so.
Will you back my project if the "new Team" tries to use my contract code? I don't have any access to the key or the funds.

A lot of people have every right to be angry, even those who came out ahead. While bag holders and the "new devs" might not like people ridiculing them, it's easy to forget that people were devastated by this. The best you can hope for is holding it and hope some pump group gets hold of it, but if they do for the love of god, dump it. People are DEVASTATED by BAD trades EVER minute in the crypto world. Don't invest more than you are willing to lose. PERIOD. Leave crypto for the big boys and go cry somewhere else. |

I can't understand why people writing FUD don't take their time to learn something about market, coins, exchanges etc.
eBTC will not become eBTC2. eBTC stays eBTC. There will be a token swap in some weeks. New team is working hard on new contract, new homepage, new twitter etc.

The idea behind eBTC is unique and simple. (This is clearly market manipulation.)
I was a very very early investor in bitcoin plus It was a great day to see it rise from the dirt and clear over 80 dollars in just one day. It made a greater movement then DASH when it blew up. Bitcoin plus is just another simple idea- It could be argued that eBTC has even greater potential than bitcoinp plus once the contract is fixed on the new coin.
I want the price to drop too but I want to be remembered for saying I told you so.. With that said I am waiting to buy so please keep SELLING!

Wait so its not a scam??
The original dev was a idiot and was most likely trying to scam and got scared when there was such a massive community talking and looking for him so he gave up everything to the new team who is correcting the error in the contract so they can swap the coin. People still calling Bitcoin as scam so it all depends on your prospective. Even though ebtc has been through so much there is still a massive community and interest in this simple idea, but effective. |

There is a group forming new telegram chat gathering info, of the people who invested, one of them has contacted lawyer who made contact to satoshi@ebtc.io they will track him down via official request by mew and twitter !% chance that the project has not ended, this is not likely the case. Just a quick update guys, lawyer tried to contact satoshi trough satoshi@ebtc.io email, with questions which would be recored. No answers till today whatsoever. Official contact with some the exchanges was made, one of them accepted the request for giving the IP adresses which are connected with etherium adresses of the dev, if court order is given. Other than that, there are more informations than enough about who he is. The "takover" made little confusion about next steps. The thing is that this new happenings are hard to belive, but IF the story gets turnarround, people agreed to wait is this legit or not, before making further steps down the road. (several people agreed to chase and sue, and will cover the costs.. they paid initial ammount to the lawyer to make some contacts about the above... If anyone’s made payment to a “lawyer” I’m sorry too say but you’ve likely been scammed. Please do keep us updated on the “lawsuit”   You guys need to really move on this because all this fud will take away from this coin. There is still a big community but people are fickle. |
