661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dex exchanges are safe? on: August 27, 2019, 05:16:22 AM
I've been using dex exchanges like ddex, switcheo. They asked to connect wallet through metamask or trust wallet, I'm an android user so I'm using trust wallet to use these exchanges, i wanted to ask when we connect our wallet to a specific exchange is there any possibility to stole funds anyhow?

Decentralized exchange are mostly like that, requiring you to connect your wallet.
It is very important to using reliable decentralized exchange only, because phishing attempt may be occurred on fake DEX.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers ruin ICO fund raising on: August 27, 2019, 04:46:20 AM
Indeed. ICO fund rising was very great and done successfully before year 2018, but after many scam projects appeared, it is ruined.
Thanks to that, there are only few success ICO or IEO nowadays. What we can do as a community is to prevent scam project raising their fund,
so cryptocurrency project will gain back the trust from investors.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hidden or Delete all coin in myether wallet? on: August 26, 2019, 10:12:30 AM

I used to do Air drop and bounty. Get all coins in time when the market is down. The value of all these coins lost 90% even now looking at it I do not believe it is no longer valid.
I cannot sell them because no one buys them, and its value can only be enough to transfer to exchange.
So do you have a way to hide it or delete all the coins from your wallet?

Why even bother to delete those coins ? New tokens usually doesn't appear in myetherwallet.
You need to add manually new tokens in myetherwallet to display it, but it will appear in ethernet explorer like etherscan.io
If you want to remove tokens from your wallet, just transfer it to 0x00000000000 address.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 26, 2019, 09:21:19 AM
Quit underestimating wallets and figure out how your wallets works either its ETH erc20 based wallets or multi walllets, you lose your private keys or recovery seeds you lose your coins and tokens,I was in a gathering on message when somebody posted his private key guaranteeing he didn't get an airdrop tokens,I wonder what may have transpired as of now,its like some still don't have the foggiest idea how genuine there wallets recovery seeds and private keys are, quit playing with wallet private keys and take them more serious like you doing with your bank account.

Giving your ETH address private key means giving the entire of your ETH coin and tokens in that address,
this should be the basic knowledge that everyone must have in cryptocurrency.
ETH is not a private coin, everyone can check whether the tokens are in the wallet address or not, by using etherscan explorer.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 26, 2019, 08:52:48 AM
I think that Binance will go bankrupt soon because if hacker attacks and scandals with users database. That is why I want to know what exchange is better to use. I know that changelly is good, but I don't know about them a lot/ Do you know it? What do you think about

Why do you think binance will go bankrupt just because the attack of hackers ?
Binance must be have some advanced security system on their exchange, otherwise they would facing many problems before they reached on the top exchange list.
What ? Changelly is good you say ? I think i have read scam accusation about Changelly exchange somewhere.

666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: August 26, 2019, 08:34:06 AM
Hey, Guys, I am jak3, I came back after 1year. (i barely visited this forum in this 1year) but I remember when I left this forum there was a lot of bitcoin campaigns and a lot of discussion topics. But nowadays people are only talking about altcoins. Can you guys tell me what I am missing till now or what exactly did happen under this 1year? I do have some idea about merits thought. Hope I can get a grip back into the discussions.

Actually there are peoples who talking about bitcoin in bitcoin section too (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=1.0)
But the peoples who talks about altcoins are more than bitcoin, i think it is because there are more new altcoins created.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign on: August 26, 2019, 08:21:54 AM
Can anyone suggest me a Good signature campaign to participate ?

Thanks !

Honestly you won't get any good campaign by asking the community which is the good one.
A good campaign means they have a good project planning, marketing, and clear roadmap.
The team profile must be transparent, otherwise no investor will trust and participating on their main sale.

670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 12, 2019, 02:02:43 AM
I usually checking cryptocurrency price everyday in coinmarketcap website.
It is very important to monitor the value of your investment, so you can prepare the next move,
either if you want to buying more coins, or selling your coins.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can exchange services sell my personal data? on: August 12, 2019, 01:50:59 AM
Hello! What is an average fee you pay to crypto exchanger? I use changelly and pay just 0.25% and I think this is pretty weird. How do they make money? Sometimes I think that they sell users data and I'm thinking to pick another exchanger.

0.25% for fee in cryptocurrency exchange is not high. In my local exchange, i usually paying 0.3% fee on every transactions.
But if 0.25 multiplied by the number of users in the exchange, then they will get a great amount of money.
About the personal data, most exchange usually don't do that, but we don't know if their database get leaked someday.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Habit of Giving Up Is Just An Escape on: August 11, 2019, 01:53:30 PM
We have few new projects that have many reasons to shutdown and leave crypto world due to loss of funds, hack or failure to meet softcap/hardcap yet they manage to proceed and they are doing fine, this shows the sign of seriousness of the devs and teams .

And we have some projects that leave crypto world just because they have found reason to leave, putting the blames on softcap not met or hack,I know fund is still needed but if they've been working on the project for a long time it shouldn't be easy for them to just want to shut down because of a single failure.

Those who gives up easily won't end up with nothing because its just an escape,we investors are trying our best to make the right choice when investing for better profit and we've failed many times yet we never stop,I expect such spirit in devs and teams too.

It is because many projects failed to deliver the promises to their investors, so the investors no longer want to investing on crypto projects,
and resulting many projects failed to raise enough funds on the sale of their token.
About the softcap, it is required to run the project with the softcap funds because the project will be hard to run without enough funds.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risks will be useless if anyone can see tomorrow on: August 11, 2019, 01:46:46 PM
Well yes, i think if we knew the future, everyone would be rich already.
Different with stocks, cryptocurrency value is far more volatile than stocks.
The risk of investing in crypto is, you cannot easily predict the coin you invested on.
674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to buy crypto with a card? on: August 09, 2019, 02:01:18 AM
Or it's a fraud? Hello! I'm a newbie and found out a project that lets you to buy crypto with a credit card. Project name changelly and I want to know if it can be a fraud. Is it even possible to but crypto with a card? Should I trust them?

Some cryptocurrency providers accept credit card from the buyers to buy their crypto coins.
I don't think it is scam, but you must be very careful when buying using your card.
I suggest to buying on good and well known cryptocurrency providers or exchanges.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happened with ETH ? on: August 09, 2019, 01:39:02 AM
Ethereum is the best partner of bitcoin, during 2017 ethereum prices were around 5% of the price of bitcoin. when the bitcoin price is $ 5600 then the ethereum price is $ 280
But why since 2018 until now when bitcoin has reached $ 11 707, ethereum is still $ 227. The ethereum price should be $ 585.
What happened Huh if bitcoin price is $ 20 000 then ethereum price is only $ 600 Roll Eyes

From the first place, bitcoin was already more popular than ethereum, so i think peoples prefer to using bitcoin more.
Because peoples prefer bitcoin, then the value of bitcoin will be much higher than ethereum.
in addition, there were many bad ico projects in ethereum network, causing eth value to drop.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are still here for the longterm ? on: August 08, 2019, 06:31:44 AM
are you guys still waiting for the next cryptocurrency market cycle ? or some of you just accepted your losses ?

I'm still here for the next crypto bull market  Cool I think we can wait patiently if we can afford to lose what we spend.
The problem is, we never know when it will happening. As long we buy some coins with low price, then we will have higher chance to sell it higher.
Or to hold it for long term to gain more profit overtime.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which bounty campaign to participate in? on: August 07, 2019, 08:07:45 AM
Hi everyone,

I am curious how you are choosing in which bounty campaigns you are participating in?
To my understanding there are 5-10 new bounty campaigns launched everyday, so that bounty hunters have a lot options to pick from.
In another thread I already saw that the duration of the campaign is important.
But what are the other factors?
How do you choose?

Hi, usually i will join the campaign that have active admins, we can see in their channel or group.
i think bounty campaigns nowadays are not too profitable if we compare with campaigns in last 2 years.
There are some factors to think before join the campaign : whether the project legit or not, allocation reward, duration, requirements, and rules.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest? gambling? or trade again? on: August 07, 2019, 07:45:17 AM
I suggest you to focus on what you expert on. If you expert on trading, just focus to do trading.
If you are a trader but want to buying coin to investing, you must waiting for long time to hold your coin,
and i think it will be difficult for trader because usually trader will sell their coin quick to cut the loss.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE FUTURE HOLD FOR ALTCOINS? on: August 07, 2019, 07:20:25 AM
The cryptocurrency community is no stranger to accusations of crypto being a bubble. As far back as 2014, media pundits were referring to the bursting of the Bitcoin (BTC) bubble, with a Financial Times article from September of that year even containing the ill-fated prediction, "We’re going to stick our neck out at this stage and call this the end of Bitcoin."

~

Do you think this time bitcoin will be on it's ending ? I don't think so.
There were countless peoples in the past said bitcoin will end soon, but the reality is not like that.
Although bitcoin value now is not high as in 2017, it still have a good value in the market.
