when will they explain the official statement about KYC and token distribution? I'm following twitter but there is no brief explanation in here. 74,750,......... token seems in my ethereum wallet. it's been days. I want to know now the real number of my tokens  . Patient everyone, there is still no news about KYC yet, as stated in earlier posts, originally planned for Oct. 2nd, but recently there was ICO ban n South Korea, so ICON will announce when KYC will begin. |

There is one thing I don't understand, what does "non-tranferable" mean? Can't we withdraw or trade the token?

STASHPAY Tokens may be transferred on a peer-to-peer basis or on platforms operated by 3rd parties. STASHPAY Tokens will become fixed (non-transferable) on the Ethereum blockchain within 48 hours after 27-09-2018 23:00 UTC. So why does Stash token become fixed in Ether blockchain within 48 hrs after 27-9-2018? is this means no longer fix after 48 hours time frame? |

ICON update regarding KYC:
With the recent tightening of blockchain regulations, ICON is preparing additional legal policies. In order to properly protect ICON contributors, the ICON KYC process will be delayed by a few weeks.
In particular, the ICON team is preparing a “Privacy Policy” and “updated Terms and Conditions” for contributors to safely submit their KYC information.
The KYC process will NOT start on the originally scheduled date Oct 2, 2017. The updated KYC schedule will be posted on the ICON blog and sent via newsletter.
As KYC deals with various personal data, the ICON website is being upgraded to include additional security measures. Therefore the website login is temporarily disabled. Thank you for your patience.

1. The target amount during the tokensale is set at 150,000 ETH, and a total of 400,230,000 ICX will be issued and distributed. About 180 millions was sale for 75k ETH. Rest is 220m and as I understand is for 75k ETH from 'Strategic Contributors'. But where is another 50% (for reserve, team, advisers, foundation, etc)? 2. What will you do with tokens from participants which fail their KYC? Will be another sale round for such tokens? Ok on the home page of https://icon.foundation/en/ when you scroll down to Token Sale it breaks it down pretty much how you described. I cant remember where I read it or saw it in an interview, but the total supply of ICX is just over 800,000,000 tokens. I don't yet know what the circulating supply will be. 50% is for the ICO. Half of that is for us (75k ETH) and the other half is for the strategic contributors. So as I understand it our portion in the ICO is effectively one quarter of the total amount of tokens. The remaining 50% is broken down as: 16% Reserve 10% Team, Advisors & Early contributors 10% Community Group and Strategy Partners 14% Foundation Okay as for your 2nd question, if anyone fails their KYC their tokens are burned at the time of distribution. No further comment regarding the replacement of these burned tokens has been given yet. It would be interesting to see how many are burned and if they are not replaced, what that will do to the circulating supply. Just want to add something, @snorlex, total token is 400,230,000 ICX all distributions tokens will be locked up and not transferable until after contributors verifies KYC, start Oct. 2nd - Oct. 16 possibly refund ICX tokens goes into the 16% reserves as this is a long term project and maybe ICO these tokens when they need to raise future fund? just pure speculation. |

Guys I'd like to propose that we as a group ask the ICON team to migrate away from Slack. The Aragon team is taking a stand and moving to Rocket.Chat
The reasons behind the decision has to do with too many ICO phishing scams, people are losing tokens and it has to do with how Slack operates. There are other reasons but it would be good if we could take preventative action and protect each other from the risks.
And they aren't alone, apparently ten other teams are either following or are already over at Rocket.Chat
These teams include OmiseGO, Golem, Cofound.it and Santiment. Apparently its a total of 45,000 Slack users from the different communities moving away. There are other options but I think it's a great proposal.
If anyone on the ICON Slack can pass this msg onto helloicon and other community leaders please.
Spam coming from slack has really become problem. I am getting at least 10 emails a day. 10/day is exaggerating, ICON enabled entiscambot app to minimize scam. Plus, when you login, the warning message appeared regarding about the scam. As the present moment, ICON slack is closing soon and the team suggest everyone to move to telegram. It has all the makings of a perfect shit storm. Very weak replay protection implemented on both sides. If you thought claiming your bitcoin cash was complicated, if two distinct chains are established between Core and segwit2x, it's going to be real difficult to avoid replay unless you don't move coins at all. Just to add to this if you do try to split ONLY move to another wallet you have the keys for DO NOT try to make your first transaction on ANY chain to an exchange or similar So safest best is to wait maybe a few days-week after the hardfork for things to settle, and then move your coin to either an exchange or another bitcoin wallet??? Much appreciated again. |

I think when working out stakes they should share leftover bounty coins to those who participated in the pre-sale. Why give extras to those who tweet on junk made for bounty twitter accounts or those who post i love icon when they dont even know when presale was and when it ended. They're just doing it for the bounty and then will dump at any price.
Some believe in the project and joined the bounty to maximize their investment count. So they worked hard on the bounty and invested in the presale. They should get the leftover bounties.
ICON is one of the professional project, but also one of the most fairest one. If you look at how they capped each individual max @ 30 Ether, they want diversity n able to contribute to a fair amount of individuals, regardless whther they small fish in pond, dolphine, or whale. Except for those in US, Singapore, China? due to KYC compliance, which also signifies that this is a serious long term legally bind project. When looking @ bounty distribution, its clearly stated that bounties will be bounties, the left over are Earned! Will be given to those who worked hard and earn ICON tokens. I dont know what to say but sometimes as human nothing is enough, we were fortunate enough to participate in ICON token sale, if project succeeds of course, but thats a different story, now we also want the share among bounties? come on people! |

Probably not right now Monkey1, not until a formal announcement comes out. Originally the ICO was projected to end on November 3rd. Then the Bounty was to be accounted for and distributed after that. Now that all ICX are sold out there will need to be a reevaluation. At a guess I would say we will know in the next 7 days. This is not an official timeline but I notice how quickly ICON is able to reassess and adapt. For example their stance on adding KYC was well handled. That’s not really fair if the ICO is over the bounty program should be over, hope to see some official info soon No, its nor fair, probably more fair that we take off sig. by the deadline of ICO? not when ICO is over? presale is way over before the deadline, there still plenty of time, am sure we hear news from ICON soon, in the mean time, be proud with ur ICON sig while its still there |

probably wont be for a while as they just raised presale n also have reserve. I would wait n check etherdelta often to see when it traded What is the listing procedure for Etherdelta? Don't they need agreement with ICON? Or random people can just trade trade coins as and when they like? no energy girl, just random people eating Korean BBQ ribs, take their time n be active in community, n respond to your questions. When ICON token is transferable, anyone can send it to etherdelta and start exchange it. Unless ICON make some type of arrangement with Etherdelta or something. Ur welcome |
