Jedan moj prijatelj je imao običaj reć pa nemam ja pare da kupim 1 BTC. Bez obzira što čovjeku objasniš deset puta da ne mora kupiti čitav, uvijek se vraća na tu tvrdnju koja je zapravo izgovor. Sad je preskup, ne isplati se to sad kupovati. Kad je pao početkom korone onda je bilo rizično kupovati jer ide cijena još dole.

That only goes as far back as to version 1.8 from 2015. Electrum's GitHub releases date back to 0.56 from 2012 (https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/tags?after=0.57a). I am not sure if it's possible to find versions of the software that are older than that. I think anything older than 3.3.4 can't connect to servers anyway.

I have only found two reviews of the new Q1 on YouTube. Both are by BTC Sessions. The first one is the video I already shared, where he connected his Coldcard to Nunchuk via NFC. The second one is with the Sparrow wallet, where he imports his public keys via USB. It's kind of weird to do that if it's supposed to be an airgapped signing device. I haven't seen any videos so far where anyone is using QR codes. Are you absolutely sure that no software wallets can read the QR standard that the Q1 is using? Have you seen complaints by people that would suggest that?

It's not self-moderated to control the narrative or attempt to steer the conversation in one particular way. It doesn't matter to me one bit if the community believes satoshi was NSA or not. I am not suppressing one side in favor of the other. Have I suppressed your opinions? Have I deleted your posts despite your criticisms of my thread and me as a poster and person? I deleted two posts from a user who suggested that Satoshi was an alien or an ancient deity. To me, that is spam and off-topic, which doesn't belong here. There was also that one post that I deleted by mistake when I wanted to quote it, but I explained that in the thread. You can always see the stats under the subject of any self-moderated thread, plus there are sources like Ninjastic.space. "3 posts by 2+ users deleted."   

The newest reports are now suggesting that the Biden administration is cancelling the data collection survey that the government and the EIA planned on US bitcoin miners. They will also destroy all data they have collected so far (if you believe them). That's not the end of the story, though. The collection process may still happen, but first there will be a public notice and comments. 

The Texas Blockchain Council initiated a lawsuit against the data collection, which was one of the reasons the government stopped it.

Just because something is open-source, it doesn't mean the code is clean and written with good intentions. Open-source code can be vulnerable and backdoored, with the developers hoping o one will ever notice it. One does not exclude the other.

Bitcoin was still a geek invention that computer geeks and cypherpunk used. No one could predict how big of a popularity it would gain.

I have two questions that can also be suggestions to eXch.

1. What happens if there is only a partial amount in the reserve of the coin/token I want to buy? For instance, I want to swap $2,000 worth of BTC for ETH, but when it's time for the swap, there is only $1,000 of ETH left. Will the exchange swap the $1k and return half of my BTC or will everything be returned to me? You could add an option where the user could opt in to receive less than what they intended to swap if there isn't enough in the reserves. Then, if I am fine with getting a lower amount, I could get it.

2. Could you create a waiting list for swaps that users could opt in for if they wanted? For example, there is no XMR left, but I opt in to be placed on a waiting list for x amount of hours. I deposit the coin I wish to swap for XMR and then I wait to see if the reserves will fill up? When they do, I get my XMR 2/6/12/x hours later if my turn comes.

That would put in jeopardy the airgapped nature of the hardware wallet. A keyboard like that could, in theory, have malware. It could log your keystrokes, save them internally, and wait for an opportunity to broadcast that data if it ever gets connected to an online device. Nowadays, it could even be equipped with its own network and either upload or download data from a connected device. Being too worried about these things isn't healthy, but neither is not caring at all.

It turns out, that was beneficial for the OP because Trust Wallet won't be able to load and store his seed in its software. But even importing it into the closed-source app and getting error messages when trying to recover the funds shouldn't be done because no one knows what's going to happen with those seed words once an attempt was made to enter them into the Trust Wallet.

They are all crap stablecoin blockchains, but if you need to engage with them, then you are stuck using those that are the most popular among them. I have never used or heard anyone use USDT on Polygon or the BSC network. It's mostly the asset on Tron followed by the token on Ethereum. And the fees are cheaper on Tron. Even the source you linked to shows it. I never had any staked TRX, and the fees I needed to pay for USDT transactions were either 13 or 26 TRX. At the time I last used it, it was between $0.70 and $1.40/1.50. It surely costs more now with all cryptos up in value. 

But yeah, if you have some staked TRX, you can use the energy it produces and convert it into fees when engaging with smart contracts, which token transactions are.

The dude has a lot of them, I wouldn't be surprised if Coldcard is on that list. I never pay attention to the first minute or two of his videos and jump forward when the real content begins.

The size is too big, but I don't care about the shape of it. That is, if I wanted to buy one, its wide calculator body and the many buttons wouldn't be the thing that would stop me. Unless it's a dildo-form, I don't care.

Those are animated QRs, right? What do you mean not supported? Does that mean there is currently no popular software wallet capable of reading the QRs that the Q1 generates? Can I ask the source for this information?

I consider this a secondary importance. A casino and the people running it can be trustworthy even if their business is unlicensed and vice versa. It doesn't look good if they are lying about it or showing the wrong one (which was the case here), but if they are not stealing from and scamming their players, then it's not a problem.

The area where JackpotRacer could be useful is if he can prove that the casino is (still) running games that can easily be manipulated. That's something the community should know about and decide for themselves if they want to trust such a casino with their money. 

I don't thing we will ever hear that from whoever was behind the pseudonym satoshi. Maybe another party reveals something we never knew or saw before, but I don't think satoshi will. I don't even see a reason why they would reveal their identity now after so many years. Doing so can only cause problems, confusion, and maybe even fear if it was an invention by someone the community dislikes. Bitcoin has come a long way without the community and general public knowing who satoshi is, and I see no reason to change that. 

I wasn't talking about JackpotRacer's actions. I was talking about the bug in Blackjack.Fun's game that allows the outcome to be manipulated. It's a lesser evil if that bug is present in a beta environment where you aren't depositing and playing with your own money. It would be worse if someone could use the bug against you in a real-money game where you deposited your own money. Imagine you are playing the game and it looks like you will win, but due to a bug they haven't fixed, you lose the round?

If I can venture a guess, she doesn't like the direction the thread has taken. I have never seen that before. The guy says the device clicks on random areas on his screen no matter what he does on it, which hinders normal usage of the wallet.

It looks fine on my end. It shows all 12 our of 12 transactions like Mempool.space. Maybe it was a temporary glitch in the matrix or something in your browser that causes the error. Anyways, Mempool.space has become my go-to service when I need to check something on the blockchain. The only thing I find weird that it's not there is a BTC price or a chart.
