There is no single one exchange that have all coins. If you are interested in one particular coin you can check what exchanges have listed it. You can check on https://coinmarketcap.com/ Find your coin and check the tabs whit all exchanges which have trades with it

I don't think bitfinex is safe to trade i almost heard that site was scamming from last year and until now even in reddit they are not safe to trade.There is no single one exchange that have all coins. If you really want to be safe trade much better to go trade in cex.io and poloniex also you can also trade in cryptopia i was trading there not all cryptocurrency are listed there but there are many coins that are legit to invest in . .
Coinmarketcap will good source also to know where you can get that altcoin
