We need to secure our network more
It's not easy to secure the network every time, when in come of hacking ability. They use advance system application that they own developed sometimes. Just for example, just one click into email on your account and the other thing is disaster. You cannot know when they attack those hacker, that's why this is the common problem here in crypto community. Because, they assure you that they empty your online wallet and getting your email or bitcointalk account. Luckily I didn't yet encounter those hacker in my bitcoin career, maybe they targeting big fish than me. Better to divide all your online income or online altcoins/bitcoin to lessen your loss. |

Probably this is more appropriate in the meta section.
The answer to this problem probably is the people assigned as merit sources. Since they have like free 100 merits a month they can distribute this and improve the supply of merits available. However, the supply will not depend on whether these sources would consistently give out the merits and all the users cooperate to distribute their own merits.

What if Sir theymos update this kind of merit system, atleast adding 1 merit everyday (sendable merit). I understand you consider your lack of smerit a problem for yourself, but for the forum as a whole, it's actually a good thing; the merit system is working as intended. Sendable merit is intentionally scarce; it if was awarded to everyone, spammers would also have it, so they would be able to merit each other's garbage posts and we would be back where we started. Maybe you can view your lack of smerit as an incentive to write really good posts so that you'll earn merit going forward? You can also apply to become a merit source ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.msg28856522#msg28856522), although that requires that you're a 'somewhat established member'. Thanks for giving me some link to know about the merit system, this is helpful to me. Just want to create a little idea to those who has hard time to get the smerit. You can see most of the cheapest token here, just search first the coin that you want and be sure that alternate token is potential to be profitable. I never try their service, maybe some other day. About banning, they can't wider it through around the world, specially in the major country like Russia and many more. China is not a ruler of every living things specially here in crypto community. Most of the country see that the trading bitcoin or bitcoin, that this kind of currency is very effective and useful to promote more opportunity, business and services around the world. It fasten the transaction and cutting the payment through ignoring the mid man in every project or business. So better to ignore that kind of wasted news folks.

My only problem with the system is that people who was 1 week away to next rank must gather months worth of Merit, couldn't be more unfair.
I don't see people giving each other merit.

That is natural folks, for me this is a good opportunity to buy and invest in different kind of alternative coins aside from bitcoin. Cause the less value now, the more value in the future good. Specially when you are in trading business that need a lot of strategy and luck sometimes. Thinking that this Casper API is sounds and looks like the famous Casper the friendly ghost film way back 1995 if I'm not mistaken. Also, it's logo too cause its exactly like a ghost(fyi one of my favorite character back in 90's ). So this is cloud based data storage, most of the big company need this kind of project. Let me read first all the information inside, then let's decide if this is a worth it project. Author, please let me back read. Thanks in advance.
