661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: February 03, 2020, 05:19:02 PM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and AWC could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.

in trading it is very necessary expertise in analyzing the various altcoins that we want to invest. because there is a type of altcoin that we can trade in a day and there is an altcoin that we can trade for a long time. because in my opinion not all types of altcoin have the same nature and popularity and every altcoin that is launched has its own product so that the growth of altcoin is very dependent on the quality of the product being launched.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: February 02, 2020, 04:36:04 PM
1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?

I agree with your opinion about investment because now there are so many ICO projects that cannot guarantee the return on investment that we do in a new project. so the risk we receive is greater than our investment in established altcoin. so many new projects now that fail to reach the sales target or softcap because investors prefer established altcoin over new altcoin and the risk received is smaller.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: January 18, 2020, 10:23:50 AM
Please stop your whining here if your friend dont know nothing about blockchain and crypto then teach him so he can be independent

Don't let them invest in what they don't know about

how can you invest into somthing if you have no clue about what are you investing in at first place or is just about 21st century beg??

Many people do not learn about something they want to do in investment because they only listen to the words of some observers who are not sure that they can benefit. they easily trust one person without learning it first. so many people who have lost assets after they invested in a project that ultimately could not provide benefits but losses they get.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: January 13, 2020, 05:14:31 PM
New year is already few days away and I want to share one or two new year wishes about this forum on here, this is how I hope 🙏 this forum will be by next year, this is actually about BM and Moderators, I belief they can both help a lot.

1. Moderators, theymos and co should actually look into new way or strategy to help crypto investors, what I mean is getting rid of scam projects, I don't know how but I think it's time moderators start taking action, we need new investors in crypto space and scammers are everywhere taking advantage of them.  Maybe there can be some kind of new screening for new projects on this forum? Or some kind of PASS?

2. Bounty managers have a big role to play in crypto world, i believe if every bounty managers can be more serious about the projects they introduce spammers will reduce, few bounty managers still don't know how important Proof of Authentication is, without it scammers can just use others btt accounts without them knowing, to claim tokens, we need more good bounty managers in this space and not keep relying on few promising BM's like bubbalex, Arteezy, ltcbtcledger etc

I totally agree with your opinions and wishes to the bitcointalk forum in order to provide the best service for crypto investors. so that investor confidence in bitcointalk forums can be trusted again by investors. then there is a need for stricter supervision and regulation of the latest projects in the future. so no one else is promoting the scam project in the bitcointalk forum.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: January 13, 2020, 04:35:22 PM
summer will pass and 2020 will come soon.
while the market is still below and cryptoqurrency prices are cheap, then how do you prepare for the coming year?

I personally have added some bitcoin and altcoin.
I believe if half of the bitcoin is reduced, there is still hope for the crypto market, especially for the price of altcoin.
How about you?

cryptocurency conditions are currently not good so in conditions like this then we should be able to take the opportunity to buy some altcoin that has the potential to grow well in the future. and I have prepared Ethereum and XLM for me to sell in 2020 because I'm sure the two altcoins can go up high prices.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: January 06, 2020, 05:23:01 PM
I think that Altcoin is very good in the future is Ethereum because ethereum already has a very large interest in the whole world. and other altcoins like EOS, Binance, Stellar Lumens, Tron, Cardano which I can recommend to you to invest. and I suggest you not to choose altcoin too much because later you will have difficulty monitoring the movements of every altcoin you have.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: January 06, 2020, 05:16:56 PM

Bitcoin dominance is above 65% which is something unusual since Altcoins started getting more interest from investors. It also seems that this percentage is increasing steadily for quite some time now. This is not surprising since Bitcoin was the most profitable coin in 2019 and people don't take the risk investing in altcoins anymore, they realized that Bitcoin is less risky as the price almost always eventually recover afterwards when it comes to BTC.

So what  to do you think? Are altcoin getting boycotted, giving Bitcoin an increasing dominance from now on?

in 2019 it was a bad year for altcoin but I am sure in 2020 altcoin will again improve in price and will again be in demand by world investors. so there is no need for a boycott of altcoin because everyone has a time to grow and collapse. we hope that in 2020 we can restore the altcoin price which has fallen last year.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: January 04, 2020, 06:51:57 PM
First there is an announcement, then there is 3 year Roadmap,
extended each year with meaningless additions, fake recruiting of
employees, trade interrupts, software announcements, wallet updates, changes
quizes, games, givaways, airdrops, forks, ICOs etc, etc, etc.

I've seen several coins with great tech which is perfectly quick and secure, anonymous (or not) and safe.
They all have mobile wallets and wallets for every OS.
Despite this fact they cannot be adopted. Nobody wants to use them, there is no real need for them.
A team of good programmers could develop a blockchain which can replace banks and paper money
in a month. Another month for testing and another month for setting up nodes across the globe.
The main point behind all this is: who controlls these programmers?

Voilla. it is that easy. That is why I think all these announcements and Roadmaps are bullshit.

not all roadmaps are nonsense because many projects have successfully implemented various programs that fit the roadmap.. so don't claim all projects just because you have been disappointed by a few projects. Although many projects that run their programs are not timely according to the roadmap, they have successfully carried out various programs that they had planned before.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: January 04, 2020, 06:38:23 PM
Guys we are talking a lot of times about "this project is scam" or "this project is amazing and soon moon" but sometimes scam project making a lot of x but amazing project making -90%. So what is for you good project? Which team and project is fake but making xx or team and project real but price making -90% and we should hold?

at the moment it is very difficult for us to get good projects because there are so many projects that are of poor quality. so it is difficult for us to distinguish projects that have quality and scam projects. but the best responses and arguments will continue to be shown by one of those who participated in the project even though the project eventually became a project scam.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold on to patience even when it feels like wearing off on: December 30, 2019, 10:33:13 AM
Altcoins seem to be the ones taking the hits of negative results and they are not encouraging, i know its not a good time for every altcoin holders, the question you all need to be asking yourselves is how long will altcoin market keep declining? will it take forever cos nothing last forever, patience is all you need, if its not enough to calm you then look for other ways to sustain yourself for a while, do not run because of present condition cos it doesn't justified tomorrow. For whatever is going to turn out good will first go sideways.

holding on to patience can lead us to luck and profit in the future. and this I have experienced before, when I held an altcoin for a long time and finally Altcoin was at the highest price at that time. thus giving me a very big advantage. then don't ever hesitate to hold on to patience because patience can produce great results in the future.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold and Crypto on: December 28, 2019, 09:13:40 AM
Hi PEPs I am here to talk about GOLD. The valuable metal has been utilized by various developments and it has helped people to store an incentive during times of financial vulnerability. The fundamental inquiry is whether Bitcoin (BTC) will ever have the option to turn into a comparative resource for ensure clients' worth or other Coins that claimed to be backed by real gold can actually live up to that standard? willing to hear from you guys

Gold is a natural resource that has a stable sale value and tends to increase every year. and people's trust in gold is greater than Bitcoin because Gold is a real resource that is highly valued and has a shape. and people's trust in gold is greater than Bitcoin because Gold is a real resource that is highly valued and has a shape. whereas Bitcoin only has a high value but bitcoin does not have a stable value so it has a risk to its holders. so people's trust in Gold is greater than Bitcoin.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 22, 2019, 04:24:47 PM
I have seen many reviews about the current new altcoins. Most of them are marked as worse coins with cheap prices, while the rest coins are indicated as scams or shit-coins. I rarely saw people stated that new altcoins are worth for investment or trading nowadays. However, new altcoins are always born from ICO, STO or IEO every month.

So, my questions are
1. Why there are still investors in the new altcoins project? For what they invest if they know new altcoins are only about risks and losses?
2. Who are those developers that always create new altcoins projects? Don't they know that most new projects just ended with failure?

*Warning: Sorry if these questions are ever made by someone!! I never copied or got an idea from others. This is my own opinion.

At present there are many new altcoins that have the potential to not grow well and develop in the future. but why there are still many investors who invest in new altcoin because in my opinion that they do not obey what will happen in the future because there is only a choice that is the advantages and disadvantages of an investor risk. because investors know the risks they are still investing in new altcoins. and new altcoin makers will continue to create their projects in various ways to attract investors who dare to take big risks.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce crypto currency to newbies on: December 22, 2019, 04:01:36 PM
In your opinion, what is an effective way to introduce crypto currency for newbies, and how important do you think?
I think platform like the Brave browser are a very effective way, this is important because newbies are the future?
Give all your thoughts here

in my opinion to introduce crypto curency to newbies requires time and good knowledge about cryptocurency because cryptocurency is a financial future that should be known by anyone.  and this is a very good idea if we want to introduce cryprocurency to newbies through brave browser. and I always introduce them through various knowledge about the basic understanding of Bitcoin and Altcoin, Blockchain and others about cryptocurency. so that newbies will more easily recognize and understand the system and how it works on cryptocurency.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: December 20, 2019, 09:49:51 AM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?

at present there are very many ICOs that have deceived investors but there is nothing an investor can do to punish these frauds. This is a cryptocurency that has a high risk for investors and the risk is losing assets, so now there are few investors who dare to take the decision to invest in new altcoin. so many current projects fail. and all this is caused by fraudsters or scammers.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 19, 2019, 09:27:48 AM
in my opinion about that person's opinion is very normal because anyone can give a comment about whatever they have seen. Nouriel Roubini is an ordinary human being who is unable to predict the future, just like us. so whatever he says will not affect those who have a spirit of optimism towards Ethereum at this time. and however Ethereum in the future we will see in the future.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing new. on: December 19, 2019, 09:19:18 AM
Today in crypto, Tokens, wallets, exchanges, and even DEX is easily done.  What would it take impress you nowadays?

what impressed me here was to wait for an uncertain thing from the token distribution team the results of the bounty campaign ... and in the end they fled regardless of the bounty hunters who had participated for several months on their project ... really impressive despite feeling angry and disappointed ... but it is an experience for all of us ... so that in the future we can choose projects that have a qualified and professional team.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 19, 2019, 09:09:57 AM
As we all know , crypto market is not doing so much in these days. Major Altcoins are bleeding, even top currencies are not increasing
Major reason according to my opinion is the lack of new investors. New investors are not showing interest.
in 2020 I think will be better than Today. What do you think, what is your prediction about crypto market. kindly share your thought.

for now we have seen that in various cryptocurency markets it does not have good growth and many worthless altcoins. and in my opinion 2019 was a bad year for cryptocurency because many altcoins like Ethereum could not reach the price of $ 300. Ethereum is only able to move at prices of $ 150 to $ 250. and there are many other altcoins. and in my opinion at the beginning of 2020 it will also not improve as we hoped because now there are already many IEO and ICO scam projects so that interest from investors has diminished.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: December 15, 2019, 10:37:03 AM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?

for 2 years ago precisely in 2018 and 2019 was a bad year in cryptocurency and very far compared to 2017 ago. Investor interest has now been lost because there have been many ICO projects that have lied to investors so that many investors no longer trust ICO / IEO at this time. and the fall of cryptocurency due to many scam projects. and hopefully in the coming years the scam project will no longer circulate in the world of cryptocurency, thereby returning investor confidence to re-invest in cryptocurency.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 15, 2019, 10:03:08 AM
The year 2019 came with diverse expectations from everyone. Some persons were of the opinion that the year would be better than the previous year, others had a negative view.
The year 2020 is around the corner and I would like to know what are your expectations as it relates to the market, Crytocurrency projects and the overall health of the industry.

everyone will have hope that in 2020, it will provide the best opportunities for cryptocurency users so that all of us can get maximum results. because in 2018 and 2019 was a bad year for some users of cryptocurency caused by various problems they passed. many people suffered heavy losses and even lost all the assets they owned in 2018 and 2019 ago. so that in 2020 can bring changes to cryptocurency better.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 14, 2019, 06:19:47 PM
Hi,
Need to know the best coin to buy.
Since last 2 years nearly every coin has struggle to keep up.
Suggestions on the future predictions.

Start/comment below👇

———————————————————
Till now, suggestions made (according to the comments):

Top market cap coin
Enjine (ENJ)...
Stellar (XLM)...
Litecoin (LTC) ...
Ethereum (ETH) ...
Zcash (ZEC) ...
Dash (DASH) ...
Ripple (XRP) ...
Monero (XMR) ...
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) ...
NEO (NEO)
Binance (BNB)

Low mcap high risk high return coins
BitBall (BTB)...
High performance blockchain (HPB)...
Elrand

in my opinion it is very difficult for us to predict the price of altcoin which will increase and grow well in the future because there are already so many altcoins that try to grow but are unable to survive in various markets so that altcoins must drop dramatically. but there are some old altcoin that until now still survive, such as XLM, XRP, LTC, and many others that can still survive. so I think it's better if you choose the old altcoin than you choose the new altcoin for now,
