Given that the first-year interest is 100%, will AC in my wallet compound to more than 100% at the end of year 1?

Since transiting into POS, transactions and confirmations seem to take a lot longer than during POW phase. Things really have to improve if merchants and users are to use AC for transactions.

I have just processed a transaction, POS seems to be working!
Awesome news for Asiacoin!
Doesn't seem to be working for me on Mac wallet.

down she goes...
on Bter.com asiacoin is doing really well , don't know why coinmarketcap.com hasn't listed bter yet. Doing well but the volume is nowhere close to what we are seeing on MintPal.

What are your guy's market value predictions at 24 hours, 7 days, 3 weeks, etc
24h = 2500 - 3500 sat. 7 days = 500 - 10000 sat 6 weeks = 5k - 50k sat everything is possible. depends on the community and dev. if every user keeps mining on REAL multipools like http://ac.pool.mn after PoW ends it will sure go up to 30-50k very fast.... even before stakes are paid out.. we just need some miners on the asiacoin multipool. but we will see what is going to happen. it's in our hand. I expect a dip after 2 weeks when the first stakes goes out.

Is the POS phase kicking in at block 20,160 or is the POS phase going to start on 1 May 2014? If it is the latter what is the timezone used?

Any new updates that dnaanders can provide for the Credits community on the upcoming developments? I think the community really need a timeline on things to expect. It goes the same for the dev team, I guess. There really has to be some pushing to move things forward or the dev team will just seem to be 'taking their own sweet time' to the community and anyone with vested interest in Credits.

I don't think he's trolling. Just being honest, and wanting some real developments. We need more guys like this to come back, buy more coins and be part of our community. Not piss them off.
I hope you come back Alty, buy some more cheap coins and be part of the building efforts on this thread.
Alty is a trader, not a community builder. There is no need to be negative and shoot down ideas that leads to infrastructure building around AC. Traders buy/sell coins based on potential of future growth or increase in value. I do agree with Alty pointing out that while a USB wallet is a good effort in developing the AsiaCoin, it is not a key development like a multipool. For any currency to go mainstream, there need to be an eco-system to utilise it. The economy only starts spinning when people are using the coin. Without usage, I can hold a million AC and it won't do any good. It will be great if we can see more merchants adopting AsiaCoin. It won't be easy especially when it is already an uphill battle getting merchants onto Bitcoin and Litecoin.

How do we contact this hankrules? Any link to his forum profile?
I do have the feeling that TalesFromTheScrypt is gone for good.
|
|
|
I was mining AsiaCoin with TalesFromTheScrypt at first but the pool just went down without any update except for one of the staff stating that he is leaving TalesFromTheScrypt. I guess it is the demise of the entire pool operation.
|
|
|
Maybe the dev can update the list of mining pools for Asiacoin.

This IP blocking is not working well given that the IP detection seems to be faulty or the IP detection method is inaccurate.

Are the installed wallets unlocked by default?
Aye Lad, Aye... Thanks for the info! Pool.mn for AC seems to be having some issues. I can't seem to be able to connect to the pool somehow.

UI is still under development, making sure everything is secure. This is going to be legit, not like any other crypto poker room.
I won't be holding my breath for it to be completed. My belief in Credits will only return until I see more activity and PR efforts put into marketing.

How about lowering your withdrawal fees for BTC to match your competitors?

Looks like TalesFromTheScrypt is falling apart or under DDOS attacks. The websites are down for most part of the day.

whats going on I can here crickets in this place
Given that I am one of the most active forum member on the community forums, it saddens me to say that Credits is dying a slow death.
|
|
|
The website information are quite out-dated compared to the information on the thread.
|
|
|
To add on, I actually tried to be more active in the Credits forums but it is a ghost town, literally. Unless more of us start clocking some post counts there, the forums is going to look really bad in terms of image, branding and marketing of Credits. I am tinkering around to get figure out how to get the daemon going. After that, I will look into getting some small projects that utilise Credits.
That's nice! I know some code but definately not a programmer... If you need anything in visual aid department i can help out there... I am not a developer now though I understand codes enough to manage projects. I may not use Credits at first as I want to profit enough to continue development.
