... more Overclocking vs. Stability I had to decide for stability, the recent improvement got one board in a unstable zone. We reached the first time an avg. higher the 70 GH/s, but the stability was bad and I had to restart the miner sporadically. We are now on a moderate tuning of each h-board to 32-33 GH which is about 30% higher then the expected hashingrate. Here the actual pool avg. speed ...

I had mine pushed to 37-38 with one dead chip ... heatsinks & fan ... but it was unstable so .. i went back to 32 ... :-) ...

I would like someone to write up a guide of backing up everything on the sd-card to a usb stick. I would do this myself if I knew how to, but sadly my linux skills are in the ballpark of none-existent. Some points I'd like to see:
1. I would prefer if it did not require installing any additional programs. 2. The usb stick needs to be made bootable. 3. The guide should include info on how to modify the boot order between the SD card and USB-stick.
Hopefully someone is up to the task, Im sure this would come in handy for many users over time.
All those questions are discussed in many raspberry forums ... http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=136912http://elinux.org/RPi_Easy_SD_Card_Setupyou will find many scripts there which do just what you are looking for ... :-)

When will the refund get started?

plz make "how to" step4step frob back up to chainminer upgrade manual for noobs like me)
ChainMiner for M Board Version 2.X boards DO not use this guide for Version 1x m-boards. It will fry your chips. This is only meant for Version 2 of the M-board..... That's how I did it yesterday ... worked like a charm ... if you do it the first time ... the make command might take some minutes be sure to let it run till it gets you back to the command line ... ... 8. How to update on the most actual chainminer version (gitpull)?... first .. if it ain't broke don't fix it ...do backup of your actual bitfury chainminer version... pi@bitfury ~ $ cp -a /opt/bitfury /usr/bitfury.backup
Then move to chainminer get latest version clean make ... restart ... pi@bitfury ~ $ cd /opt/bitfury/chainminer pi@bitfury ~ $ git pull pi@bitfury ~ $ make clean pi@bitfury ~ $ make restart the miner ... and hope it will still hash ... :-) ...

If it's coming from us they should be more than capable to explain all aspects of their model/plans, much like you would if you were going to a bank for a loan or going in front of investors--they want to know what's going on to see how much risk there is vs reward. When these companies are hesitant to do that, buyers should take extra care with their decision.
Not to mention in most real-life scenarios, you're not using 100% of the crowdfunding as your required capital--it's usually part of it, or, you're limiting sales quantities the first run and only requiring partial payment from the crowd. IE get in on this big mining machine, it's retail cost is $5000. Pay $2000 now and when we're entering the final phase of building, you'll be required to remit the remainder of payment. And you constantly let folks know about milestones met. This builds trust super quickly. We are considering this. We have done it before with Lancelot(Group manufacturing). We will make a Poll on our website to see if this something that customers are interested in. I like the idea of where blackarrow is going, but they're dodging basic questions. To make claims against a competitor and then try to use the same math to put themselves in a better light, without providing the support for it, is kindof unprofessional. Directly asked about it at least 3 times, dodged all of them, dancing around the issue. That makes me wonder.
I mean if you're going to say "my system will ROI but my competitor's wont" and then someone runs the math and calls BS, you should respond to that. What we are trying to say is: - We do not know what will happen with Bitcoin difficulty/revenue in February or December or even tomorrow. We do not avoid questions. We do not have an answer. Nobody has. On that date in February we will sell cheaper than our competition. This is our promise. If products from competition will have ROI in February than our products will have as well. Hope this statement is more clear. You could put this as a price protection in your Terms & Conditions .... :-)

NEWS:1. Hardware:Update I had to take a few days off after my trip to Ukraine to be with my family and get some time to relax and get a few full nights of good sleep. I'm feeling all energized as a Jack Russell Terrier now, so I'm back in work-mode. I'm starting by going through paperwork and mails.
While I was on my trip, my team had made great progress with software, and we're now able to produce much more stable rigs without excessive tweaking.
We plan to start shipping next week!
It seems that our ship will get speed again soon ... ! Whatever will come it will be with UPS Express ... Order #1071 made on September 16, 2013. Order status: processing. UPS Express Saver shipping × 1 €100 2. Payout:Today is the next scheduled payout, let's see what we have mined this week on "ghash.io". I will do the transaction and accounting later this day. 3. Tuning:We had a little incident this week with our miner (regulator shutdown, because of too much OC), but overall the hashrate was constantly increased by modifying the resistor and some software tuning. The bad part of this is that now ... it probably only can get worse ... :-) That's it!

Es scheint als käme wieder frischer Wind in unsere Segel! Was auch immer kommen mag, es wird mit UPS Express sein ... Order #1071 made on September 16, 2013. Order status: processing. UPS Express Saver shipping × 1 €100 2.
