Based on my experience, whatever brand 580 8Gb would have power hashing around 30-31 may almost 32 after mod and OC. I have 3 different brand 580 8Gb with 3 different Vram, Hynix, Samsung, and Micron. So far micron is the best on my rig (31.xx Mhs on Ethash), Samsung and Hynix 30.xx on Ethash with Copying strap 1750 and OC.
IMO, if you waiting to get cheaper prices, you will lose time. except you have guaranteed to get a cheaper price in the future.

My electricity price is very less, so it is negligible. It would be great if you guys can help me overclock my card by sharing Afterburner configuration. I'm still confused with that part.
What should I mine to make more profit with my Nvidia cards? I've checked whattomine.com but the value keeps changing. Any stable and specific coin that Ican mine?
You can try to increase step by step with AB until you increase your Hashrate with a good Hashrate stability and system was stable. Coins profitability always fluctuate, you could try to understand how to keep mining with stable income. You can doing high mobility mining or whatever.

Try to increase virtual memory, check every cable from PSU on your rig, also check your PSU physical conditions (fan..etc). How to know that your rig still working fine when your monitor on a blank screen and your TV goes offline?

I like to see the 8 X 16x PCIe slot. if I'm using the small dimension of GPUs or middle, maybe I can make a custom rig with Mountrack cashing. Nice share mrb, I would try to get any info of those 8 X 16x PCie Mobo.

Well, it's a loaded question and I'll give a loaded answer. On the XP's.......
it's more enough explanations. May I need to think to renew my old RIG to the same as yours.

Ctrl + D for your Post! Great Job.

Thanks, ZCash.
hows about the Hashrate on Equihash
|
|

it's enough, what makes different with 8Gb RAM is only on overall performance, I mean if you are using your rig for multitasking LoL

Awesome, it's so shiny. Good job ViperGuy. What coin are you mine?

the green one is number 16 Pin, you can connect the green one to any ground Pin cable, 3,15,17 etc.for more clearly you can see the picture below: it's clear now, so I need to count until the holes number 16 (for 24 pins, it is green).

If you are back up your Privkey, you don't need to do regular backup. in the future, when you need to restore it, just restore your Privkey and sync with the network. Keep your Privkey in the safe places.

I have a few brands of this card version, all of the card running with 28 Mhs with MOD and OC. am using Pbe 1.6.2, it will copy strap 1750 and more stable on my experience.

I am trying again with the msi. I reinstalled windows this time with uefi. I will post the results when finished.
It is good, we will wait for your updates. Update topic will give another member a solution to the same problems.

I have the same problem before, what Am doing is reset bios on the mobo (using CMOS battery, not a jumper), plug 1 GPU only and reinstall the driver, shut-down the rig and put all GPU together. in my case, this way solving my problems (1060). I am probably gonna send the motherboard back and I have a biostar on order. Hopefully it won't give me trouble like this one.
If you are using Biostar Mobo's for mining, such as TB250, don't forget to enable 6GPU for mining on bios.

I don't have experience with 560. 570/580 4Gb, both will produce around 28Mhs, 570/580 8Gb around 30-31 may almost 32 Mhs on Ethash with mod and OC. Some people also calculate hash/watt to calculate device profitability. You can do the same.

Since NVIDIA has a less tweaker friendly, one of my friend using the physical tweaker on 1070 Ti, something like jumper technic on GPU board using solder but I don't really understand what he was doing.

If you are familiar with Windows, stay with it. Except, you want to waste your time to learn something new. You will lose money and time, but you get something that can't be rated with money, that is experience and knowledge.

3 month I have been doing it using a paperclip, The lack of this way is If our PSUs efficiency not so good the 12 V cable will not produce the right Voltage. So we need to create dummy load for 5V cable to make sure the PSUs produce the right Voltage. will better your using relay tool such as add2Psu.
some people said to use a paperclip on our PSU, we need to connect green cable and black one. in my case, all of my 24 pins has a black cable, which one I need to connect?
