661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: February 08, 2014, 03:27:50 PM
I've started a buy/sell thread for Auroracoin trading here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=455326.new#new
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Auroracoin BUY/SELL thread on: February 08, 2014, 03:26:47 PM
I'm buying large amounts of Auroracoin.

Paying 300AUR/BTC.

PM me if you're looking to move large amounts.

**MTGOX DISCOUNT** if I pay you at your Mt. Gox address my rate is 250AUR/BTC
663  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: MTGOX <-> BTC BID/ASK on: February 08, 2014, 02:38:20 PM
Selling up to 1,000 btc at 90%
664  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 08, 2014, 01:30:25 PM
I'm willing to sell at 90%, but the buyer gets up to 1,000 BTC.
665  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 08, 2014, 03:11:57 AM
Bidding 55% for your gox btc balance, minimum amount 5btc/10goxbtc, max 100btc/200goxbtc. You will do an internal gox transfer to my gox account for the gox coins, I will send you bitcoins free and clear. Your transfer first unless you're really well-known/trusted, or we can do a back-forth with smaller amounts. PM if interested.

Wash your hands of gox once and for all!

This reminds me of when PirateAt40 was closing down and people were paying for Pirate debt. Deja Vu.

Yup. This is exactly like that scenario. Get out while you still can!

For those that werent around for Pirate's default....he never paid for the debt that people sold at a discount (i.e. 50% or less).
Who is the "he" who never paid for the debt that people sold?
666  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 08, 2014, 02:42:58 AM

i interpret gox below stamp as a sign that some traders expect a gox bankruptcy and in that case fiat is superior to btc.

Indeed.

Can you tell us why?  Is it because a court won't be willing to assign a fiat value to the BTC lost?
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: February 07, 2014, 04:29:28 AM
I'm buying Auroracoin, please PM me if you're selling.
@300 AUR per BTC
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: February 03, 2014, 01:10:05 PM
Is Auroracoin on an exchange anywhere yet?
669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: January 25, 2014, 01:15:09 PM
Stocks are done

Bitcoin should eventually follow if the correlation is to continue

We've seen this call from you many times before. What makes this time more likely?
(Serious question, not sarcasm.  I am fan of EW analysis but have been burned on this call before many times)
670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MTGox and Canadians on: January 20, 2014, 03:35:48 AM
I live in Canada and I tried to do a dollar withdrawl from MtGox.  After several weeks of nothing I traded them for BTC and moved those to Cavirtex.
671  Economy / Service Discussion / Downloading transaction history from btc-e on: January 19, 2014, 01:58:09 AM
Is there a way to download account transaction history from BTC-e into a .csv or Excel file?
672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: January 18, 2014, 03:12:32 PM
uh-oh, is this the ultimate Elliott wave contrarian indicator?  Cheesy

http://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwgeeks/article/Elliott-Wave-International-Becomes-First-Market-Forecasting-Firm-to-Accept-Bitcoin-20140117

I wonder why they didn't start accepting them back in September 2010 when they ran their first article, and a bitcoin was only worth 6 cents?
673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 14, 2013, 01:42:12 PM
Has masterluc left us?
674  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 11, 2013, 01:48:53 AM
Masterluc, please weigh in on this surprisingly resilient price action but with low volume.  We need some guidance!
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: November 29, 2013, 01:44:53 PM
I said watching gold parity.

Current gold prices:
7549.96 CNY
1241.70 USD

Because you expect a interim top at that point, or because you expect a breakout to the upside?
676  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I purchase these! on: November 28, 2013, 01:19:48 AM
Buy BTC on whatever exchange you use and transfer them to btc-e to buy LTC.
677  Other / Off-topic / anyone use Metaphor DIS or Meta5? on: November 12, 2013, 11:26:50 PM
Back in the early 1990s I used a business intelligence software product called Metaphor DIS.  Still the most amazing piece of software I've used, even 20 years later.  Now it is sold under the name Meta5.

I'm trying to connect with other users.  Has anyone here used this?
678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: October 28, 2013, 12:00:28 PM
It's been awfully quiet around here.

I'd like to hear from BrightAnarchist about all this bullishness.  What's your view?
679  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB - iPad on: August 30, 2013, 12:14:05 PM
I had previously paid 70 BTC for a used iPod touch, so 25 for an iPad was a bargain!  Grin
680  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: August 04, 2013, 10:38:30 PM
Is this wide arbitrage opportunity ($10 between MtGox and BTC-e, $5 between MtGox and CaVirtex) technically significant?
