662  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during november? on: November 03, 2015, 11:38:20 PM
if you asked me this yesterday,i would definetely have said no, it seemed impossible.
But looking at the price increases the last couple of days, its becoming more and more possible.
Bitcoin went up like 70 bucks in one day, so hitting 500 by the end of november should be a breeze, might even hit 600 honestly.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 03, 2015, 11:35:21 PM
"Safe Gambling" those two words contradict each other. The point and meaning of Gambling is to risk what you have to gain something you don't.
i believe by safe gambling you are referring to investment options where you can make money but have to put in a deposit first. for bitcoin not many of these exist. only good way to make money investing bitcoin that ive seen so far is by lending.
664  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: bitcoin pay out on: November 03, 2015, 11:21:05 PM
check your wallet's public address that you shouldve received payment on blockchain.info if the transaction was brodcasted it will show up there as unconfirmed. confirmations will take sometime depending on how much fee the site payed. however if you dont see a deposit on your address, then there is likely something wrong and you should contact support on the site for help.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do with 1,000,000 Bitcoin on: November 03, 2015, 01:44:24 PM
well I had 1,000,000 bitcoins. the first thing i would do would be to convert that to fiat. i would have to do that without hurting the current market. so I'd sell around 50 coins a day for the next 55 years. then i would have a ton of money in both fiat and in digital cryptocurrency, so I'd buy anything i want.
666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price at the end of 2015 on: November 03, 2015, 01:41:59 PM
well if it keeps going at the rate its currently going at. bitcoin will hit atleast 500 by the end of the year. ofocurse thers a hude chance that the value if going to crash.
I must say though, i really dont care much about the current price of bitcoin as long as it is worth something the value being higher than >250 is good enough for me.
667  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am happy we are going up, but it is going too fast. Hope it slows down. on: November 03, 2015, 01:25:54 PM
good god what is happening  Shocked. Bitcoin was like 330 yesterday and i wake up today and its up to 390. IN ONE DAY, btc went up 60 bucks lol this is scary.
668  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: November 03, 2015, 01:07:42 PM
Claims like this are fun to talk about but little more than good marketing for Coinbase. (Don't get me wrong, I like Coinbase). But no one can say for sure whether bitcoin will have staying power and significance to be considered the world's reserve currency ever let alone 15 years.

What I think is a better discussion to have about this is why would we want Bitcoin to be the world's reserve currency. Existing fiat currencies are controlled and manipulated by Governments and Banks. Do you think these people are going to just let Bitcoin exist without their involvement or blessing? Do you think these people aren't going to want to have control and option to manipulate Bitcoin as they have fiat?

I think the answer is No!

If Bitcoin becomes the world's reserve currency, Bitcoin will be destroyed as we know it. I can't see a way that it wouldn't, but if you all think differently I'd love to hear it!
I agree with the advertising part. When i read OP's post the first thought that came into my mind was "wow coinbase really believes in bitcoin, i should start using their wallet again" lol.
But IMO i don't think bitcoin is going to replace the dollar anytime soon, not within 20 years anyways. Fiat is just wasier to transact in person. Bitcoin works well for transactions that take place over the internet and its all about the ease of use.
669  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which Dice is best dice? on: November 03, 2015, 01:03:19 PM
magical dice is pretty good.you can hit the faucet every 3minutes. their house edge is really low at 1% too. MD is the only dice site i gamble at and its been good to me for the past 2 months.  Cheesy
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best current cold storage method on: November 03, 2015, 02:08:35 AM
if i were you, Id just stick to paper wallets. They're so simple yet so secure, only way someone will steal yoour coins is if they get a hold of that paper. and if you're scared of fires and stuff like that. just back up your wallet on a usb and store it in your bank locker.
671  Economy / Speculation / Re: $700 by Nov 17? on: November 03, 2015, 01:53:46 AM
definitely not going to hit 700 in 15 days, thats almost a double increase in price. Im estimating that its going to be around high 300s maybe mid early 400s by mid november.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My goal to earn 1,000bitcoins within 3years on: November 03, 2015, 12:04:56 AM
You know how you can increase your earnings.Create a blog, write your story, people love history like that
You can share your FB ,than signe your blog to BitTeaser  or similar service ,you will have additional earnings from advertisment
I would love to read a blog about updates on your story. if possible make a youtube channel that people can check up on.
I personally know that I have a 0% chance of getting 1000 coins in 3years unless i convert my job income to bitcoin.
673  Other / Meta / Re: Problem accessing forum using most browsers on: November 03, 2015, 12:00:11 AM

674  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: November 02, 2015, 11:57:35 PM
ya but for that to happen people have to be willing to buy bitcoin at $200k each lol. bitcoin would need to become worlds biggest currency in order for prices to go that high.
675  Other / Off-topic / Re: 0.5 BTC reward - smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? on: November 02, 2015, 11:55:17 PM
that book cover really doesnt look appealing. if i had to guess your opinion I'd say that the colour scheme doesnt work well. and i dont understand how ants carrying leaves symzolizes bitcoin in any way.
676  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I'm buying bitgold with btc. on: November 02, 2015, 01:50:12 PM

677  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2015, 01:47:39 AM
Currently, my least favorite thing about bitcoin is that it costs less than 1,000$ per bitcoin. Smiley i'm awaiting the day of massive valuation
lol some people don't mind the price of bitcoin, after all its a currency, the purpose of bitcoin is to allow trading and people to transact. the value of the currency isnt as important.
One thing i dont like about bitcoin is that its hard to buy it as an average consumer. the only way of buying btc without doing id verifications is prolly through this forum, and some people just arent upto that. also the image that bitcoin currently has as the "criminal currency" is something i don't like.
678  Economy / Gambling / Re: After losing all your Bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 11:03:48 PM
Am I the only person here that feels relieved when they lose all their Bitcoins due to gambling ? I don't have to deal with the constant planning and dreaming in my head that maybe this time I will recoup my losses. I find that I also sleep like a baby afterwards.

That's definitely not me. I have more than 100 BTC and I can't stand losing them all in gambling. That would be nightmare for me, not baby sleep.
Im the same way lol, i dont get how someone could be relieved AFTER theyve lost their money?. if i was in your shoes and actually didnt like dealing with the betting id just do one big bet and get it over with. and wouldn't you sleep a more comfortable sleep if you knew that your bitcoins are still safe and with you, other than theyre in someone elses wallet?.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware, the best thing that has happened to Bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 02:18:07 PM
i actually got the cryptowall virus couple months ago. it locked up all my documents like docx, txt, png, jpeg, pdf and all those file formats. it doesnt really affect your windows though, only encrypts your information files. i didnt have many important files so i decided not to pay the $500 ransom and just reinstalled windows Sad.

that sounds like crazy talk to me, if you actually feel like that when you're gambling why not just send to an empty bitcoin adress and pretend like you lost it in gambling. then couple months later spend from the private key and get happy cuz you got a bonus. personally i like gamblng because its fun, i dont plan when im gambling  Cheesy.
