661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: April 14, 2019, 05:38:31 PM
I try to consider so many factors whenever i want to hold. The most important of it are the products and the team fervent work in developing the project. By virtue of this, i believe that such project has the tendency to reach its climax.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Earn Crypto without investing or mining on: April 14, 2019, 05:35:20 PM
Those who can effectively write article on different platforms that offer such opportunity, have the opportunity of earning good reward. Although, this is an act that one need to also learn, but with constantly practice you would get better.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anthony Pompliano Calls on Exchanges to #DelistBSV on May 1 on: April 14, 2019, 05:28:09 PM
If Binance should eventually delete the coin, other exchanges will follow suite and that will lead into an eventual dump in its price. Even if some exchanges still trade it, it might dump.
I just perceive some forms of attacks on the con, from those who are probably aggrieved.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: April 14, 2019, 05:02:12 PM
I always believe that every good project would have its ATH. So if it is yet to attain it, the best thing to do would be to wait for the time to come. This is why i am not always in haste to sell whatever i have, no matter how much i need the fund. This is also another reason why we should not out-rightly depend on crypto as our only source of livelihood.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should stop promoting ICOs who ask huge money for their soft/hardcap! on: April 14, 2019, 04:58:49 PM
I think it s high time we started neglecting such ICOs. Every project team should be responsible for the major part of the fund needed to develop their product. If they do not have the fund, there is no need for them to lunch their project, but wait until they have at least 50% of the fund from them and the remaining from investors that may be interested.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take the profit OR hold on on: April 10, 2019, 11:38:57 PM
I have invested in ETH when it was $105. Now it's $176. Will it be a good idea to take the profit now? Or I should hold on for better profit which may lead to less profit too  Grin Suggestion is appreciated.
At this point, you have to make decisions by yourself.
Looking at the difference between the price you bought it and the price it is now, it means you already have a substantial amount of profit. Then decide.
What I know is that ethereum has no likelihood of see a price as low as the amount you bought it again.
667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No trades without loss on: April 10, 2019, 11:32:23 PM
You might be right, but you cannot totally avoid FUD as a trader. Instead of you allowing it to influence you negatively, you can use it to your advantage.
Most time, traders use FUD to buy more good coins at cheaper prices and wait for another good news to sell higher.
That is just the simple way through which it works.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: April 10, 2019, 11:29:10 PM
Grin is also like every other good project in the crypto sphere, that has got the attention investors due to it's technology, but bitcoin, being the forerunner and the store of value for most investors, should not be compared to it.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade on: April 10, 2019, 11:24:15 PM
That is a good observation. Some good number of ICOs are now converting into IEOs, so as to make fast sakes and at the end, they still remain as ICO.
The same experience, encountered by ICO investors back in the days of ICO boom, is still being encountered.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't bite more than you can chew on: April 03, 2019, 11:45:41 AM
That is a good advise from the operator. There is a rationale behind every good investment. The crypto market is very volatile, which is why we need to be careful of how much and in what you are investing in. How long to wait is also a very important factor.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Veriblock IEO finish in 10 seconds, what's your take? on: April 03, 2019, 11:32:17 AM
I have no doubt about that. mos IEOs that already have their products or have something substantial that will give value to their coins, sold out in a very short period of time. This should be the first IEO on Bittrex, aside the one that was canceled for some reasons. I am still waiting for more, which i believe will also succeed.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to sell off your crypto investment on: April 03, 2019, 11:21:28 AM
One of the painful things is that some coins do not just worth your money. Although, you might not know this at the beginning. Even at that, you would have started seeing some odd things about it, which might be in form of warnings for you to opt out. It might be your wit end, where you have to make your decision.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) is still the long-term investment option number 1 on: April 03, 2019, 10:52:26 AM
You think ETH Is the No. 1 choice of investors?

The choice on ethereum, might be subjective, in the sense that, if someone likes ethereum, it is for a particular reason, which might not be the same as another person. There are those who prefer other coins, like bitcoin. Personally, i like ethereum, but for some reasons, i do not have it at the moment.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with Bitcoin Cash? on: April 03, 2019, 10:46:52 AM
I am not a fan to Bitcoin Cash, but i know it's a coin that also has the tendency to grow, but i still believe there are some other coins that are better of than it. That it pumps, does not mean it will not dump.
You should perhaps try to know the reason behind the pump. t could be as a result of the general market uptrend.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most expensive cryptocurrencies on the market? on: April 03, 2019, 10:43:26 AM
Hi folks,
this seems like a trivial thread but I was reading this today > https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@thecrytotrader/5-cryptocurrencies-which-are-more-expensive-then-bitcoin
this was published one year ago.
For example, the coin named 42-coin is by far the most expensive (at the time of the article it was above $50,000, right now it is still well above $15,000 per coin).

I know market capitalization matters much more than the actual price, but just curious, do you ever consider the actual price of the coin before buying? I mean what motivates people to buy these very expensive coins?

Any constructive opinion welcome.
I do not think people are motivated to buy it, because i tried to check the 24 hours volume and i discovered how low it is.A coin might be expensive, but that does not mean it is a good coin to buy. Always do proper research before deciding to buy a coin.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: April 03, 2019, 10:37:05 AM
The OP is right and that a typical analogy of what is happening i the market. Had it been it's all about price, then we would not have also had any form of dump, whenever there is an eventual pump, but a coin without a good tech, will definitely lose its price. O the other hand, the price of a coin might be very low, but because those who understand the prospects behind it, they tend to accumulate more.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All life with cryptocurrency on: March 31, 2019, 02:20:40 PM
I think so, cryptocurrencies will become an integral part of our life, but it will happen not earlier than in 3-5 years.
You cannot vividly ascertain the time for full adoption and approval of cryptocurrency and block chain technology by people in general.
The beauty of it is that cryptocurrency is already being used by many platforms and some countries. This will gradually ease its adoption by others.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Efficient exchange? on: March 31, 2019, 02:11:04 PM
Most exchanges have almost the same transaction fee, particularly the prominent ones among them. Among all the exchanges I have been using, the one I ground to have the cheapest transaction fee is Mercatox
Most times, when I want to change any coin into bitcoin, I usually prefer using mercatox, but that is if the coin is listed on it, with btc pair.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Capitalization on: March 31, 2019, 01:51:51 PM
Market capitalization reduction was due to so many factors. Imagine the market cap that we had in late 2017, compared to what is available at the moment. A lot of people got FOMOed in 2017 and that tend has now reduced. So people are being careful of being victims of that now and that has contributed into lesser investment and consciousness of price, which invariably translates to low market cap.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your destiny is in your hands on: March 31, 2019, 01:27:21 PM
Our destiny is not written on an imaginary surface and not in wind. What we are today in the crypto space is as a result of the works of our hands.
- Whenever you want to invest or promote a project, do not be in haste, but take your time to analyze it.
- If you want to sell the coin you have, do ensure you think about it many times, so that you will not later blame yourself for selling.
- Get materials to study whatever you do not know.
Nobody can make a better decision for you than yourself. So learn to do the right thing at the right time.
This is an appreciative advise, which I can always refer anyone to. We most times determine what happens to us, most especially when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency.
You do not invest in what you don't know and the knowledge you have will determine how far you will go as well as how much you will succeed.
