661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: August 31, 2016, 12:52:53 AM
Well thats why im asking question, because i got a 280x, when i bench with ethminr with -G -M (DAG 0 when benching) it gives me 26mhs with my 280x and if i mine ETH (DAG #71) i get 17.5 which is ok.

If i do the same test with the 470, im getting 24.5 on both DAG, which make no sense.   Also if i solo mine or dual mine with the 470, im always at 24.5.  Like if it was capped at 24.5, i dunno.

It should do better than the 280x, since it has the same number of cores, same memory width, but got 1230 GPU clock and 2000Mhz memory (280x is like 1025/1500)

The 470 always do 24.5 either on DAG 0, KrytonCoin (dag 30 or something), EXP (DAG 11) or eth (DAG 71).

So i need help to figure this out Smiley

Any of you have a RX 470 8GB?   Its weird im getting the same hashrate has ETH (DAG #71) with EXP (DAG #11).

Something's fishy! Smiley

Ive been thinking about getting one. What hashrate are you getting?

The reason is simple: suprnova is not a reliable pool..I've been mining various coins on it..it has so many 'issues'...so, people go to '4 miners' because it's a great stable pool...we pay a lot for our equipment, who wants to waste it hashing on an unproductive pool??

Interesting, what are the issues ? Actually I'm doing pools and crypto since 2012, I'm available 24x7, I even have a support chan in IRC or via Twitter.. I pay bounties for bugs, I pay bonuses, I even pay coins after rounds have completed if there were any issues.

I've never heard of any "issues" and the KR pool is running for quite a long time now.

Beside of that, I'm developing my stratums, by frontend and backend myself and I don't rely on any other developers who open source pool's backend software so I'm certainly aware what's currently going on in the background. I can see attacks on stratums, because I've developed stratums, I know how a fake share attacks works because I'm writing counter measures against it.. Or double share attacks, fake blocks etc.. Even IF such an attack sucessfully happens, I pay afterwards and reimburse the miners...

EDIT: Oh and btw there already was an "issue" which fast fixed quickly after it was reported and all users got a decent 20% bonus on their balances. I'm not doing this as my dayjob but I certainly serious in what I'm doing.

Lol this is funny i know ocminer and ive been mining at suprnova since like 3 years now, one of the best pools around and all that time i never heard of 4 miners....

BTW: Hi ocminer, long time no see Smiley

Anyone ever had the error message "Transaction too large" in the wallet?  I'm unable to move my coins because of this error. (Ive rebooted and all), should i rebuild the database?

you probably have received many small transaction to your address go in Setting > Options > Wallet and check the box of Enable coin control features with this option you can selectively pick various inputs and stay under the size limit on 1000 bytes.

Ok im affraid thiswont do it, ive got 840 transactions for a totalaa of 124KB, if the max is 1K im in for a long ride posting that one by one.  XRe has 1K for each blocks?   Isn't this very small?  Its like what 7-8 transactions in total?

Anyone else noticed that the sgminer released for this coin randomly rebuilds new BIN files mid mining?

yes i confirm this, same here got like 10 bin files Smiley

did you notice a reduction in speeds as well? my 280x's go from 2.6mhs to 2.4mhs then to 2.1mhs. same with 270x's.... someone really needs to go over this and fix these bugs.

I have noticed a very small diff, 100kh/s on average but not much more, nothing compared to your variations.

hmm, very annoying bug indeed. maybe someone could start a fund or contact someone who knows how to code sgminer to fix these issues or to create a more optimised version.

Not sure this is worth it, will see if this coins goes somewhere, but for now this algo is only used for this coin.  Everything depends on the dev, if he can get some traction to this coin this will probably be fixed.

I think your explorer is completely out of sync, yours is at block 25978 (timestamp: Wed, 15 Jun 2016 10:27:13 GMT) and yiimp is at 34009 and its time is ok.

You are right, there was an issue with the explorer and it was out of sync. It's fixed.

Awesome its working now! Smiley

We've restarted the block explorer, please confirm if your balance is correct
Nothing changed for me.
Only 2 transactions from 06/13/16, then empty.
With http://yiimp.ccminer.org/explorer/XRE all normal, all transactions are present.
[/quote (Yimp)
Same thing, can't find my address, ive looked for transaction and it was not found either.  But the other explorer found the transaction correctly. (Yiimp)

Anyone knows why i cant find myself on the richlist (http://revolvercoin.org:3001/richlist)?  (I have searched my address, the one that i use for the payment of my mining) and its not found!
Something strange.
I found my address, total balance only 1900 coins, but in the wallet 45 000.
Maybe BlockExplorer does not work properly?

Revolvercoin.org explorer has been broken for quite some time. Yiimp works but only provides block info, not address summaries (to my knowledge).

Basic components like explorers have to be solid and maintained if adoption by users or exchanges is to progress any further... @Barney what's the story? News has been slow for a while.

I agree with you on this, if this simple component is not working nothing will.

Also 45k!!! The hell!

So another coin abandoned again and no sign of Dev ?

he left a bag of cash on the park bench...now we can pick it up rather than cry and point that he left it in the first place

....he left a bag full of thin air....be honest...there is nothing, only a nice idea.
Even the cold fusion is a nice idea btw...let s make a team to develop it

Exactly!

well dev has gone. i think the dump to 100sat was dev

Lol his .16% premine? 50k coins?

man if you guys are worried about losing such little amounts of btc then you either need to A: buy a bigger mining rig or B: quit because you are too poor to be risking $5. I have seen every scam come and go and so far I don't see any point in calling this a scam unless there is a double spend or virus in the wallet. Either chill and wait and see what happens or sell and get your $5, stressing and spending your day fudding coins is a sorry existence.

Who said we are investing 5$?

YEah tis funny how it goes, the pow finish, the developer goes to sleep (before me), i do my whole day at work and he`s still sleeping?  lol yeah right!

If i was managing my project like this at work i would be gone by now for sure....  Sounds like another scam sorry!

When i go in a coding blitz on a very important project of mine, i get back on it as soon as i wake up, since ive coded even in my sleep and wake up with fresh ideas and very often with the solutions to some of my problems...

Ive sold at 300 anyways

static const int64_t MAX_MINT_PROOF_OF_STAKE = 0.05 * COIN;   // 5% annual interest
static const int MODIFIER_INTERVAL_SWITCH = 2500;

this was already discussed. it is POW+POS comined total. POW total should be around 30 mill

K ive check the code and there is really 3k blocks at 10k per blocks, for a total of 30M.  But it doesnt mean theres hidden coins somewhere.  But lets consider this for now as legit.  5M over 30M dumped in one hour is something to be expected from X11 coin

we need to check the source code to make sure there's no hide block

we will found sth?

yes. what happened?

How many coin is there supposed to be?

I see over 200M in the code, is this the amount we should expect?
