I have 8 low-end cpu hardware computers. Now I mine IPBC (~$0.22) and I get 6-7 coins per day (~2.2KH/s) (~$1.5 per day) - difficult is growth but price goes down What coin is most profitable to mine now in this case? or what algorythm shoud I chouse? cryptonight, yescryptr16? or what?
CPU mining is profitable only if you: 1. Don't pay for electricity 2. Have free high-end CPUs 3. Manage servers with "I don't care" boss. 4. have many old CPUs.. on other people's computers. 5. The price jumps at some point and you manage to sell. The oldest CPU only coin i know is Yenten. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/yenten/ THe price is ridiculous and raised only after the historical Bitcoin jump. Since then it is flat. It does not do anything usefull as dVPN, dApps, donations (BBP), etc, so it is like Doge, but worse. After all that i said, if you have 5BTC worth of Yenten and BTC jumps again, that would be a lot of money ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Yes I received my payment and I must say that it wasn't what I was expecting as I really thought that I would of earned a lot more in March as my HDD's were running for the whole month of March with a few of hours of downtime due to power outages and also updates to my OS. I would say all up my HDD's were down for around 5 hours max in 31 days so to receive what I did was a little disappointing but I'm willing to stick with it for now. I hope my April payment is a lot better as I have had even less downtime then March for the whole month.
Hoping for pennies ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I got $2 in March for holding 5GB of data online for a month. After calculations, harddrive's electrical usage cost is $2. I'm not calculating the computer itself. But as they stated many times, it is in experimental phase. They also advise NOT to buy any hardware as it will not pay out. At some point this should change, or the coin will die. Everybody is hoping that companies will switch over to distributed storage, however I'm well aware how important and delicate is the storage portion of computing. You can sacrifice everything else, but not the storage. So I expect some bulky company to use it for not-so important data. Usualy some research project with petabytes of data. However Tape storage medium is dirt cheap per TB, and Storj is still not. If it becomes cheaper, we, miners will get even less. So the only thing that can help is even more customers, willing to use the network. And that requires a lot of advertising and leg work. Too bad the team is not updating here very regularly with what is the next step and delays the already small payouts. This however has a good side - price of token drops and some see opportunity for earning ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Is there any profitability calculator for CPU mining? Thanks.
Apart from Nicehash's one, I have not seen any other. It only has several i7 and a few AMDs

Same issue for me. Wallet loads only about 20% of the time. Even when it loads, give it 2-6 mins and it crashes. Tried it on 5 Pc's now from Win 7 to Win 10. Clean install / roaming deleted each test Total crap !
Option 2: This is my wallet synced untill the time of the post: https://we.tl/8bm7iq8SotIf it worked for you, you can throm some expensive Dyors here lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) : RKpcfg8157pBYiC8NsRDaFHKpCnz6svzf9

What's the current progress of myst? Invested in it and amongst all other projects I invested in. Myst seems to be the slowest and competitors are doing better of which they launched after myst
We have ramped up the user testing of the VPN client and are polishing it with bug fixes, improvements and new features while adding additional servers all over the world. So far the users like the simple design and are generally happy with the VPN and have used it in China, Russia and other places to improve their lives by having information available that would have not been accessible without the software. Most of our competitors do very little in volume daily and they do not have a working VPN client beyond the MVP stage. How can I participate in beta testing on Windows machine?

To be accurate we released a fork, planned for the 14th of May, on the 21st of April when problems with sync started to happen after we acted in defense against the attack on our blockchain. I apologize for the issues users experienced and we have released yesterday version 2.0.2 that is fixing current sync problems. If you do need further assistance please join our discord.
Thank you
Thanks for the information. As @mroctopus stated, this needs to be official with large print! The website still links to the old 2.0.1 version on Github. Additional info: Roadmap states ther are 5% reserved for bounties. What kind are they? How can we participate?

Bounty Offer: - 200,000 DYOR to the person who can create a new stable windows wallet and help me access my tokens. My DYOR wallet just about loads and then crashes prior to final sync. Any wallet developers who can help get this done?
1. Download /unpack a fresh copy of the wallet on a different PC. 2. Copy over your old wallet.dat file to the new PC 3. Let it sync. 4. RKpcfg8157pBYiC8NsRDaFHKpCnz6svzf9 Option 2: I can archive and send you the entire wallet without my wallet.dat (synced till today)

I cannot believe it is almost a month since the wallet problem appeared. If devs are blind I'll explain: nobody will start or trust a coin with a wallet which is not working and a crowd which is dissat and cannot get it's coins in or out. Is it a trick before you disappear, was there a dev split or jsut good old scam?

How to add LCS token to MyEtherWallet?
Please provide the info and add it to the main ANN post!

Too bad.. half of the good blockchain ideas come from Russia, and also half of them are ending with either dev split, scam or just abandon.

i would have to agree with Marvell2 ... i think another coin will come along and make some waves. gpu prices are some what better, but if 2 years doesn't hold out, just another year of Eth mining would be fantastic! and the possibility of VR farms could be huge in the future... maybe a vr credits market place like they had for solar credits, who knows we would all be buying GPUs like mad again ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) yup i bet the next great blockchain app might be a golem type service that allows GPU farms to provide ultra relistic VR services by running many gpu comute units in parallel somehow that way you could create true VR say like in ready player one , on old GPU hardware , since you can throw hundreds of thousands of compute units at the problem. That sounds very logical, if you don't count the electricity cost. older hardware ALWAYS uses more electricity. As in GPU mining, older hardware is too expensive ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Address Hash Rate (*) LNS % Balance RR57UdWcdf73oMoF4p4pgAX2xNR9PgxAdc 19321.4 h/s 32.2 % 38.573 I don't know if a CPU rig is possible or profitable, but this clearly means that someone found a way to mining lots of ROI (GPU ?) ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) That's not a lot of hash rate we know one guy who can do 100kH/s with a special intel polaris chip ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) A single Dual AMD Epic server can probably already do 10kH/s , but why would you use such expensive gear. Because you can do it for free? Come on, we all know that the majority of CPU miners are admins in datacenters who have free equipment and electricity and a boss who doesn't really care.

Yep, now it runs, but with 6 h/s. Reported it to author. Thanks for the link ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) 6h/s ? how much power is it consuming ? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) CPU itself is 105 or 120W, don't remember exactly. I stopped it of course. will be waiting for a new version or just don't use it.
