TBF wouldn't let me connect (Bad Access) and on hamsterpools whatever diff I try I can't get the pool to show my real hashrate. The closest I could get was with -f 0.01, anything lower means lower hashrate and anything higher introduces low difficulty shares.
I could not get hamsterpool to work at all with any diff settings. All booo's. I had to use R36 to get it to work at TBF but had to use difficulty 1. EDIT: The only pool I can get the miner and pool to show the same is yaamp |

I tested qubit on yaamp.com yesterday and the miner got the correct hash. Don't set the difficulty in the bat file. just run it with -a qubit
It works fine on yaamp so that must mean there is an issue with The Block Factory Pool and some setting. I prefer that one since I have been there for a while.
I guess I have to figure out what is wrong with that pool.EDIT: Just found out that TBF does have a difficulty issue and it must be manually set lower. |

Can you help me understand why in the miner (r36, same happens with r38) on qubit it shows 11,660 kh/s but I never show over 5,500 kh/s on the pool (the block factory)?
I have tried it on hamster pool with the same bat and only get booo's (message is low difficulty share). On digihash pool and miners pool eu I get to "Stratum difficulty set to xxx" and then nothing from there. NO hashing at all booo's or yay's.
Do I need to manually set the difficulty in the bats?

Using Release 36 on Qubit I show I am getting 11,700 kh/s on a GTX970 but the pool never shows above 5,500 kh/s.
Is the miner way off or an issue with the pool?
I am on Windows 7 64 bit.
I tried the Release 38 but I get no hashes.
Which pool ? The Block Factory. Sorry can't tell for them - probably different implementation, but do you have rejects/invalids ? Yes. I am showing 4.51 Mh/s valid and 45.08 kh/s invalid for hash rate for the last 3 hours. Hmm I know that from my pools, looks like a portion is "share above target" - it usually comes when vardiff retargets and the formula (or diff1) is wrong.. Its either a pool or a miner prob .. Can you test on any other pool to see if it works ?  Just getting back from work. I tried the qubit miner on Hamster Pool and I get all booo's with the same bat. On digihash and minerspooleu when I start the bat it has a first line that says about the difficulty and then nothing. No hashes at all, it's like it is locked. |

 50% hashrate drop but "True Decentralization (No Pools)" how? There was a coin that was at 16 sats and jumped to 150 sats and it was very easy to mine. Very easy and quick money. Not saying everyone went there but it's hash rate sure did jump. |

Hi, I've updated clpts (OpenCL Momentum miner for AMD GPUs) to version 2.0, which has now support for stratum pools like p2pool.website and bcrp2pool.website. I'll just add my $0.02 about the drop. I know like the two cents my advice isn't worth much.
But for me I mined DGB a long while ago and racked up a bunch. The price was at a perfect selling point. Also the difficulty in it made it worth while for me to completely stop mining SPR and switch back to DGB for now to rack some more up and hold for the future. I can say at the pool there is a miner with 712 Mh/s, one with 442 Mh/s and others that are high. Now are these the people who stopped mining SPR? Probably not, but there is a lot more hash on DGB right now than it was yesterday when I started mining it.
So even though myself and some others might be a big believer in SPR if another opportunity approaches somewhere else people might take advantage of quick profits.
Ofcourse, you don't owe SPR anything. It's your decision ONLY where you want to point your hashing power. And it's SPRs job to offer something valuable, so that it attracts miners. The customer is king.  Or quoting the biggest capitalist I have ever known:  I agree geargem. I was just trying to make a point that there are more reason than Hippie's version of what is wrong with the drop. I am a believer in SPR and some of us miners need to sell to pay for electric. I just chose to do it with another coin and hold all my SPR. Once I build enough of the other coin up I'll be back. I am only sad that I missed the easy blocks at the low difficulty but I was able to sell some coins to pay for this months electric bill and still keep all my SPR. So for me it was a win/win situation. And believe me, I'll be back soon. |

I posted this on the new/ moderated thread.. I don't like what I'm seeing. Is that a single farm owning that huge chunk of the net hashrate going down for a few hours? I made mention of a 800+ mhash spike/drop 2-3 weeks ago on the original thread and was ignored. This is either : a- a pool b- the non public kernel is many times more efficient than we are led to believe c- a hashpower /minting/ difficulty exploit How about some people found a coin to make some really good profit really fast. |

Been solo mining fine for days but had a power outage. Now when I tried to reconnect using the Nvidia miner I get an error message "failed to connect to mining LLP server..."
Any ideas? I am using Windows 7 64bit.
Have any of your rigs IP's changed? Wallet on same machine or different one? That was it. Completely forgot they change. Thanks |
