Open government of the Russian Federation: cryptocurrencies should be recognized as a financial instrument
The Russian government is unlikely to follow the path of banning cryptocurrencies and will soon regulate their turnover in the country. This statement was made by the Minister of open government Mikhail Abyzov, RIA Novosti writes.
"The cryptocurrency factor cannot be ignored and banned in the near future. The discussion on this issue is already underway, both in the government and in the economic bloc and the Central Bank. I am sure that the decision will be made soon, " he said. According to Abyzov, the authorities understand that cryptocurrencies should be officially recognized as a financial instrument and carefully regulated so that excessive pressure does not destroy the technology itself.
The Minister also recalled the high potential of the Russian technology sector and assured that the government understands the need to support and develop new financial technologies.
"We have good mathematics, we have good information technology. I would like to believe that on the basis of the intellectual reserve that we have, we could create products similar to cryptocurrency. This is a great talent and great ability to create and promote such products," the official said. Recall, in July, the Central Bank of Russia said that regulation in the field of financial information technology will be a priority for the regulator for the next five years.
Russia projects are very scary I don’t know but I do not really fancy nor like them Lol But it will be better as crypto ccurrencies advances

WILL THE SMART CONTRACTS OF STRATIS BETTER THAN ETHEREUM?
Stratis offers smart contracts built using C #, a complete Turing language.
The Stratis Platform is built using the C # language, part of the Microsoft software environment, the framework.NET. This places Stratis firmly within the Microsoft technology stack. Its C # Full Node allows Stratis to be the first cryptocurrency to support intelligent contracts that execute .NET code in the Common Language Runtime, the .NET virtual machine. In comparison, other cryptocurrencies that offer coding level support for C # smart contracts have to compile the C # syntax in a custom virtual machine.
We have to wait and see what the Blockchain has to offer us But it has to be different and better than etherum for it to be the best Time will tell

Which coin do you think would be the best in the long run? Please recommend the coins. I don't want to buy for short investment. There are so many blockchain projects in the world. What project looks most promising? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) A lot of coins will be the best and even be better But bitcoin remains no one any where in the world because the atms are global And the it is easier for digital payments

The last couple of days the social media has been full with funny cartoons about the CEO of JPMorgan Jamie Dimon and the JPMorgan coin. What will this mean for XRP? JPM coin and the XRP are all the opposite of bitcoin and what we like about the new digital currency. It's another currency controlled by a group of few people (companies). Ripple has focused all it's efforts in cross border fast payment, offering an alternative to the swift system used by the banks. I don't want to focus this post on how much I don't like XRP, but rather how the new centralized JPM coin used on multi trillion dollar transaction will affect XRP. That's by far the biggest threat to XRP, more than the Bitcoin itself. How will the banks adopt those coins? Just JPMorgan itself does enough transactions each day ($5 trillion), and if I was a partner of JPMorgan I would have to use their service eventually. This takes out of the market a large portion of potential clients for XRP. I'm not an expert on either cryptocurrency or banks but my guess is that this will have the following repercussions on each coin. The JPM coin will be adopted by the big banks doing multiple trillion transactions each day. The XRP will be used by the small medium banks. Edit I found this article when the CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse responded to the JPM coin. https://cointelegraph.com/news/ripple-ceo-brad-garlinghouse-says-jpmorgan-coin-misses-the-point-of-cryptoBut how will this affect XLM? Ripple and jpm coin are quite alike Private and stable tokens for private use any where But xlm is a Blockchain project that enables the creation of smart contracts for public private and general usage They do not correlate I believe

I have about $2500 to spare And I want to invest into a coin Please help me decide on one of these coins
1. VECHAIN. VET 2. ICON. ICX 3. PUNDI X. NPXS 4. MONEYTOKEN. IMT 5. BASIC ATTENTION TOKEN. BAT
I intend to keep buying some of these coins with spare Money as time goes but can't make up my mind on which to buy first now
Your opinion will be highly appreciated.
Why buy existent tokens when you can simply go for a Blockchain project Such as waves, stellar or eos ? All depends on choice but dyor always

The year 2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto fans, especially those who have just tried Crypto and have not enjoyed the benefits/profit. I do not mean to be pessimistic / give up on the current conditions, but how if the market does not improve in 2019? what will you do with all the assets you have? will you sell all? or Will you make it a treasure? or will you will get out from Crypto? or any ? if I, then I will try to survive, who knows because the market changes very quickly. because I am a new person on Cryptocurrency and still want to keep learning in it ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) 2019, I have been learning about Blockchain and crypto currency And i have learnt a lot, I can differentiate stable coins from alternate coins And I can also pick projects to invest upon Am now learning how to go into bounty programs

Lol Asking the bounty team is not going to help Except you want to find out basic information like bounty timing and the rules and terms

I was also surprised when I saw this, but I think it was intentional IF you tracked the wallet address, similar approach was done 3 times consecutively The question is why ??

As long as I know steemit pay their employees with fiat, means that in the bearish market steemit may struggle to pay their employees. I don't think steemit is dead yet, they can change their payment structure.
And about the alternative, im not really sure but Mithril is the closest one to steemit.
Well paying them in Steem won't solve the issue. Thing is people have sort of lost interest in blockchain. I mean why would any creator comes here if he is already making thousands of dollars on Youtube for example. Lol, sounds abit funny But steemit is a blog platform and if you think people do not earn from steemit You are mistaken If bitcoin could come down to 3400$ from 20,000$ How can you blame the bearish price in steemit ??

Why is WAVES so, wavy? I mean the thing bouncing all over the place more than other coins. What's going on with this thing?
Waves Blockchain is steady It is presently off the reader and hypes But it’s progressing seamlessly providing better products than it peers

We can’t close chapters on icos Because there are still worthwhile projects with good products We just need to discover them
