im more inclined when it comes to people getting their salary in cryptocurrency but in form of stablecoin, because its not easily get swayed by volatility in which might be a real burden for people even more so with small enough salary, if they want to invest in bitcoin they can easily swap because its already in form of USDT and also for daily life it will be a lot more convenient since this coin available across many blockchain you can literally choose which blockchain you wanna use depends on the transaction fee.

That's how ETH network works and as the cost of transactions are higher due to higher gas fee in DEXs and now that's the area where centralized exchanges has advantage as the transaction fee is way too lower compared to DEX and to be honest most of the casual users or short term investors will prefer CEX over DEX for this particular reason and thus you will see most of those who do regular trading or smaller transactions do not use DEX but if you are trading huge amount and don't want any trouble of centralization then DEX is the best option. Unfortunately that's how it works.
honestly nowaday people can easily switch and use L2, just bridge over their asset to L2 then we get few cent fee for swapping which is a lot more inexpensive if compared with ethereum, the underlying problem is ethereum, the fee there is simply too high that I think its ridiculous for many people and the reason why L2 these days are created so many because it does indeed solve the problem relating with fee with still staying faithful with using ethereum as the coin for paying the gas fee. but I guess if you still want to trade so frequently like basically every minutes then I guess using centralized exchange might indeed be a good thing since there's no fee for maker sometime and also no need to think about transaction confirmation since it happened almost instantly. at the end of the day it just up to personal preferences. |

but if im being honest, just put 50% to bitcoin, 25% to ethereum and the rest to matic and solana (after dump) i think its most logical way to invest if we don't want to get too much coin into our portfolio investment since sometime it might implicate us and confuse us in the long run, and I think that already sufficient enough, since both bitcoin and ethereum have ETF about to come so if things don't go wrong the rise in price is imminent.

Their is every tendency of Altcoins price pumping in few months time from now but definitely depends on the movement of Bitcoin cause it affects the price of Altcoin either when the market is bearish or bullish. Since Bitcoin is anticipating a bullish run in dew time this will have a significant impact in the Altcoin price so we expect a good pump after the Bitcoin halving taking place in the month of April.
i don't expect halving to have that significant impact toward bitcoin and even more so towards the altcoin market anyway since seeing from past experience sometime halving isn't that impactful but im more interested with the fact that ETF of bitcoin and ethereum is in front of us, its the one that gonna change the tide of the market significantly but we still don't know whether its gonna get approved or not basically its still unclear to make decision right now. but just imagine if ETF was approved, it will definitely opens up the entire market to a whole new capitals and a big one at that that we almost can be sure that the market are gonna be having the best moment of bullish run of this year and it will definitely bring about the increase of price for altcoin in general so its just matter of time if the good scenario truly plays out. otherwise it will be grim future if the ETF was disapproved but in can be sure that bitcoin would still retain its value anyway. |

understand that meme coins will only move if there is hype. if the hype is over, don't expect to get more out of it. it would be better to choose an altcoin that has a clear developer, clear direction of creation. try more to read the whitepapper of each altcoin you want to invest in.

Actually the reason for this is, since Bitcoin of he first crypto coin, not all altcoins can be bought directly. For you to buy them, you first need to buy bitcoin and then swap to those altcoins. And before you can sell them, you still need to swap to bitcoin before you can sell. So its more like Bitcoin is the intermediary of those coin. So when the price of Bitcoin increase they also increase and when Bitcoin decrease they decrease, any trend Bitcoin takes they follow. However from my point of view of things, it seems they will experience the bull run with Bitcoin. Change is constant, anything can happen anytime so just be prepared for anything that might come.
this used to be the case back in 2016, 2017 until 2019. but now Stablecoin has taken over that spot from bitcoin. you don't need to buy bitcoin to buy altcoins anymore. u need to buy stablecoins first to buy any altcoin. you can still buy Bitcoin directly without buying any stablecoins. so Bitcoin is still strong in that manner. as long as binance is safe i wouldn't put too much weight on this. Even from the same issues, Bitcoin only fell temporarily and then rose again and stabilized again. This is proof that the crypto market is very tough now. FTX, I'm sure this exchange is like an uninhabited house, its users will definitely be afraid to trade here again because the money stolen by hackers is not small. I always recommend Binance.
