I can still remember the an interview that was carried out on pep guadiola where he was asked about the importance of Gabriel Jesus, he made it very clear that he is one of their most important signings and this is to show that Gabriel Jesus had a future plans with Manchester city, and even last season he was seeing regular playing time only to be getting this, I feel Manchester city needs to believe more in their players.
Oh yes that's really normal, Gabriel Jesus is really a strong player and imagine what he can do with Erling Haaland in the next year, maybe they will win Champions League, maybe  Grin Anyway, they shouldn't fell in the same mistake of PSG, they shouldn't buy every single strong player but build a competitive team.
Oh, don't worry about this about Manchester City while a man like Pep Guardiola is working there as a head coach Wink On the contrary, with all the local failures of the club, experts accuse Guardiola that for him the game system is more important than the individual game of the players, therefore, in principle, there can be no such thing in City that the selection department of the club took a player without Guardiola's knowledge, and Guardiola himself now does not know how to use the player. Another question is that theory does not always coincide with practice and therefore a player may not justify Guardiola's calculations for some reason.

Some sources are saying that Liverpool are waiting for Bayern Munich to make an offer worth at least 40 million pounds for Sadio Mane to raise funds. They are going to be able to afford Darwin Nunez easier by this deal. However I don't know how much eager Bayern Munich are to raise their offer that much. Their first offer wasn't very close to that amount as you can remember. This shouldn't be a big money for Bayern Munich normally of course but maybe they don't want to pay a big amount of money for a 30-year-old player.
Mane is a very good player. I do think it is a strange route he is taking at the moment. He was already very good with man city, then perhaps he should have gone straight to Liverpool? I don't understand why Bayern are quickly getting rid of him, he is still quite young and very talented. But yes, at Bayern you also have some competition. at Liverpool of course. I understand Liverpool want him.
Why did you immediately decide that Bayern decided to quickly abandon the transfer of Mane? Or did you expect the club to immediately pay the amount requested by Liverpool without question? Nothing like that, it's just that Bayern doesn't like to overpay too much and this is just a kind of bidding strategy when the club is trying to bring down the price. There is information that representatives of Bayern contacted Mane and asked the player to be patient, because the negotiations will be difficult. There is also information that Liverpool promised Mane that they would not hinder his transfer and both clubs want all this to take place in a normal friendly arrangement.

PSG can't get the trophy because of Neymar. I very much want Neymar to win the champions league trophy. But this guy has no chance. Even if Messi and Ronalda are in PSG, they still can't win the trophy. Because Neymar's bad luck is the biggest of all.
How do you mean by Neymar's back luck is depriving psg from lifting the champions league trophy? The statement is purely baseless and football is not a show of luck. Neymar has won champions league with Barcelona if I am right, so was his luck good then? In as much as there is luck in the game of football, one person being unlucky cannot deprive the whole club the opportunity of winning. Psg has been doing consistently well even when Neymar was the only star man, later on Mbappe joined him and there was still no head way. Finally, Messi joined and nothing happened. To me, this is an indication that it might be a coaching problem or the club mentality. The club is not used to facing fierced opponents during the week games. We the English Premier league fans nicknamed the ligue as "Farmers league ". Psg only faces serious competitions when they come to champions league, and because they are not used to it, they always give up when the pressure is high on them. They need a coach like Zinedine Zidane to change the club's overall mentality.
The best thing in football is to do everything that depends on you so that the result of your team depends as little as possible on the whims of such a capricious lady as Luck Wink I understand perfectly well that it is already possible to make whole scientific treatises about the bad luck of a team like Paris Saint Germain and about the luck of a team like Real Madrid, but still it is a kind of reproach to both that they allowed their fate to plunge into luck. But it is for this that the candidacy of the person who occupies the captain's bridge plays a very important role, so some claims against Pochettino are not without reason, because the composition of Paris Saint Germain and resources are much higher than average.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 09, 2022, 11:52:32 PM
Real Madrid still seem to have a better team than Barcelona, especially if you look at last season. Madrid was better than Barcelona in every way. They have also won the Champions League, while Barcelona lost in the Europa League to the number 8 of Germany. That's a big difference. The difference in points in the final standings in the competition also says it all. Although it must be said that Koeman made a mess of it with Barcelona. With Xavi now as coach, I have high expectations for the upcoming season.
Last season remained last season and everyone has matured by exactly one year Wink Also, the teams are expecting changes in the line-ups, and therefore I would not be in a hurry to say that the Real Madrid squad looks stronger than the competitors. By the way, I would like to remind you that in the Spanish Cup, Real Madrid also gave way not to the leaders of La Liga, but also to the 8th team of Spain, so such analogies are not entirely appropriate due to the different specifics of the tournaments Wink And I'm even afraid to say how much Athletic Bilbao lost to Real Madrid in the championship. Much more points than Barcelona conceded Grin

By the way there is not much time left for the next race in Azerbaijan. This is one of the beloved tracks by many people in Formula 1. I also like the track a lot and it is thankfully not as boring as the Monaco track too. I just want to see a tough competition among the drivers and many overtakes. The Monaco GP wasn't able to give that to us of course but the Azerbaijan GP can. My favourite driver to win the race here is Charles Leclerc. I expect him to take the pole position as well.
I think I'd expect the same pattern we are seeing for most of the season to continue... Leclerc takes pole with the fastest single-lap car, and then Verstappen wins the race with the fastest full-race-distance car. I expect Mercedes to struggle again, and be fighting for P5 or P6 at best, unless Sainz or Perez mess up - which has been known to happen in the past. What RB and Ferrari really need is a strong second driver, so they can dominate the other team and force them on pit strategy... but Sainz and Perez aren't good enough.
I would not say that, for example, Perez is not good enough, otherwise Red Bull hardly preferred to extend the contract with him recently and again left such a racer as Gasly in Alfa Tauri. Another question is that Perez has not yet earned such authority in the face of Red Bull bosses as Verstappen has, and therefore, other things being equal, when the team needs to bet on a particular rider, then the bet will be made on Verstappen, of course. Therefore, I would still take my time with such words about the co-drivers of the leading teams, because if the pace of Perez is clearly higher than that of Verstappen as in Monaco and beyond, then a lot of people will have to change their point of view.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 09, 2022, 11:41:28 PM
I believe it would be very good for Manchester United even if they manage to at least qualify for the Champions League next season. But this would still not be enough for their supporters of course as they miss the times their team were playing much better than this. Above all else, people want to see a big improvement in the team. They don't want to see another struggling Manchester United again especially in defense. To solve their problems, Erik ten Hag must be knowing what to do now.
The hope that Manchester United will do well next season to enter into top 4 is very narrow as I analyse it. Next season will give a very competitive contest in English Premier league. This is because every club is very much prepared for next season.
***
So, there is no guarantee that my club Manchester United will be in top 4 next season.
With all this, Manchester United still had a real chance at a certain point to get into the Champions League zone. I am also not entirely sure about the prospects of Manchester United, but still a new head coach comes and certain changes in the squad, for which the club's management seems to agree to allocate quite good money, still gives some hope for a fight for a place in the top four teams. With the proper approach to preparing for the season and transfers, Manchester United is quite able to compete with all the teams from your list, perhaps only with the exception of Manchester City and Liverpool, who have recently been fighting among themselves in their own league.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 09, 2022, 11:35:14 PM
I think that this critical level has already been just reached. I mean, the national team was not even able to QUALIFY to the World Cup in Qatar 2022, despite having just won the European tournament. It is clear that Serie A (as beautiful and exciting as it may be) is no longer the league capable of attracting top players in their best form or to forge new talents as we have seen in the past seasons...
It is undeniable that Serie A is less attractive to the world community because there is no tight competition for the Scudetto. Maybe Serie A teams have difficulty signing the world's top players due to financial factors and when compared to Laliga, I think Laliga is still superior to Serie A in terms of the game and the quality of players and teams. maybe this season we haven't seen any player from a Serie A club who has become the world's top sticker and is the target of big clubs. From here, maybe the quality of the game is not as beautiful as it used to be and there is no strong candidate for a team from Serie A who is able to steal the attention in a top competition like the Champions League.
Let's not forget about such a thing as a football player's style of play. Nevertheless, the style of the Spanish championship and the Italian one differ and some players are more comfortable and better to show in some conditions than in others. Therefore, the leaders of the Italian championship are still able to attract top players, but of course I will not deny that, with all other things being equal, the players will prefer England or Spain to continue their careers. I don't agree about the competition between the clubs. Italy had the biggest and most interesting competition for the title of champion from the top European championships.

Agree, leaving Man United seems the best option for now. Ronaldo has done his best for Man United. In reality, he is the top scorer in Man United squad last season. If Ronaldo expects to lead Man United winning EPL title, I assume it is difficult to happen. Staying in Man United may hurt him more if Man United perform worse in the next season. There is no guarantee Man United to have a better position in EPL standings next season although they already have a great coach now. Since he is already 37 years old, it is better to have another experience at another club next season.
It depends on which club to go to. I would still be very cautious about these rumors that Ronaldo will definitely leave the club. If there were rumors before Ten Hag's arrival at Manchester United that the new head coach was not interested in Ronaldo, then after ten Hag's arrival such rumors seemed to disappear. On the contrary, Ten Hag seems to be not averse to working with Ronaldo. Also before that, there was information that Ronaldo did not want to leave and would make his decision after talking with ten Haag. Another question is if there is already a serious team that participates in the Champions League for next season and is very seriously interested in Ronaldo and is ready to pay seriously for it.

-snip-
Italian clubs currently look like lagging behind against the backdrop of top deals.
They may not have enough money to make a big transfer that costs over 100 million just for one player. But I think Italian teams have more players who cost less than Premier League or Laliga and Ligue 1 players for a long time but they are quite competitive. There is a huge financial gap between Serie A teams compared to teams from other top leagues which has answered why Serie A teams tend not to make very expensive player transfers. This is also the reason why Serie A teams are not able to compete in Europe to be the best team, especially in the Champions League.
Oh, yes, in the modern world, money rules the ball Wink Unfortunately, modern Italian clubs are by no means at the forefront when transfers with huge sums are made. Let's recall the situation with a player like Pogba, who can return to Juventus again and again as a free agent Grin Let's also recall the reasons why one of the most powerful Italian coaches left the champion Inter and found himself in a non-championship, but more financially confident club from the English Premier League like Tottenham. Money, of course, still does not solve everything, but it greatly simplifies the task and clubs with fewer finances have to take their toll on other factors.

If Sebastian Vettel was racing just for money, he would do everything he can not to lose his place in Ferrari. He had a quite big yearly salary at Ferrari as far as I can remember now. He must be earning 40 million dollars per year then. But now he is earning even less than the half of that money, 15 million dollars. He still wants to be a part of this sport by racing for another team. He is having big problems with the car at Aston Martin for now but he must be still enjoying his time in F1.
The situation was embarrassing for Ferrari and Leclerc. If you can remember they were touching the car in almost every race. They could not be in the same team anymore, and they just fired him.
Oh, yes, the strongest was left in the team to improve the psychological climate Wink It is necessary to feel the difference and if for Ferrari 40 million wages is not such a significant amount, then for Aston Martin and 15 million are a significant amount, so the doubts of the team are quite understandable when there is a choice to put more money into the salary of a famous champion in the past or to put more money to strengthen their car. Especially when this famous champion in the past does not give the return that the team would like to see for this money, so such doubts are quite appropriate. By the way, Ferrari's situation with Leclerc also occurred largely due to the fact that Vettel no longer felt that former champion confidence.

It is when matches are concluded that people begin to understand how football works. That is why so many of us lose bets in soccer. Football is not a rocket science and people that understands it have rest of mind.
Football is nothing without history, undermine history at your own peril when it comes to football. Everyone knows the history of Real Madrid and Champions league finals and yet we chose to ignore it. We saw how Benzema was eliminating great contenders like PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City with hatrick and brace, yet we chose to overlook it. It was after the finals we began to realise ourselves
I would call it a fitting for a fait accompli, when some experts find the reason for the victory is the victorious rich history of the club Wink History does not matter if one team is a head stronger and wins the match, but once a strong team loses, all sorts of otherworldly forces immediately begin to remember. I do not dispute that this has a certain impact on the final result, but the fact that the opposing team does not have such a large number of titles and therefore has a much greater desire to tip the scales in its favor can have exactly the same effect. Therefore, the main factor is the real strength of the team and only then other factors such as history and desire to win the title.

Barcelona are interested in Robert lewandowski come to think of it who won't be interested in Barcelona I think the focus should be that Robert lewandowski is interested in Barcelona even in there current poor situation I think everything is set for this move the only problem now may be Robert lewandowski's parent club Bayern Munich but I hope the consider his years of service and let him have his way.
Lewandowski seems to really want to be able to join Barcelona, as well as Barcelona who want to get a great striker like Lewandowski, so far Bayern Munich continues to be an obstacle for both parties to be able to work together and of course that is very reasonable considering Lewandowski performance which was quite extraordinary during this time at bayern, indeed if we think bayern münchen should want to respect lewandowski wishes but on the one hand maybe bayern münchen still really needs lewandowski at this time, but in my opinion, bayern münchen complicate the departure of lewandowski because they currently have not found the ideal striker to replace lewandowski but when there is a striker they manage to get like Mane they are targeting of course Bayern will release Lewandowski to Barcelona.
Oh yes, the main point that holds Bayern Munich back to let Lewandowski go is the lack of a worthy replacement. There was information that Bayern would not sell the player only because they could not find a replacement for him in the summer. By the way, I liked how Lewandowski himself spoke about the fact that a small number of clubs are applying for him, this is because he himself is considering only one option. I would also like to see with great interest and pleasure how Robert would play in Barcelona and how successfully he would be able to adapt at his age in another country, in a different environment and a different style of championship play.

Paulo Dybala has been in Italy for 10 years, so it's only natural that Dybala finally prioritized choosing to move to a Serie A team. Because of Dybala's success playing with Palermo and Juventus, this finally made Dybala more comfortable playing for the Serie A team rather than looking for challenges outside of Italy. Now it's about Dybala's future being revealed, because Jorge Antun as Dybala's agent is reportedly in talks with Inter representatives to finalize Dybala's contract with Inter. Even before that there were rumors that also Paulo Dybala had bought a house in Milan. With the spread of the news that Dybala is almost certain to join Inter, it means that Dybala has indeed refused to move outside Italy. Where it was previously reported that Dybala will join the Premier League teams, it turns out that we will see Dybala play again in Serie A.
Well, if Inter agrees to meet the financial conditions of the Dybala and offer a decent contract, then why not? Wink In theory, with all other things being equal, there is no point in changing the situation and the country, and as we remember, Dibala was not averse to staying at Juventus, so the country and the championship are quite satisfied with the player. By the way, it is interesting that Tottenham recently abandoned attempts to sign Dybala because of his financial requirements. However, I don't think the English Premier League is the right place for this Argentine player. I think that the option with Spain would be much more promising for Dybala, especially since information has passed that Atletico Madrid is interested in the player.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: June 06, 2022, 11:50:27 PM
Still boggling up my mind on how the hell they do recognize on investing into Luna when everything is really obviously just a hype? They never intended to make out some in depth research about it. They do just go along on what the community is been doing which is mostly there are people who do really live with hype and make profits out of it but for those who had bought on the peak are the ones who had lost that much or big time and some do even resulted into suicide which isnt something new into this market where things comes out into that point if the said outcome cant really be handled out.
Oh, Luna is a whole disaster, which reminded me of the old most important rule of an investor, that you need to be moderately careful and never lose vigilance in this matter. Because it is difficult to get rid of the feeling that the asset will not fall further when there is such a huge airbag and there is a persistent feeling that if not now, then only then the asset will win back its own and you will laugh at your fears. But this does not always happen, so in any case, you should never lose vigilance and invest all your funds in a single asset and always calculate the deviations. Sometimes it is still better to retreat and lose less than to persist, but of course you should not retreat all the time.

Well, it's not for nothing that they say that those who don't take risks don't drink champagne Grin I would prefer to earn in more favorable times and in more favorable conditions, but still the fact remains that the current decline of bitcoin is a wonderful chance to raise your capital quickly. Another question is that such times are risky and not everyone has enough level of endurance not to give in to panic and vice versa excessive euphoria and correctly find the moment when you need not to miss that cherished moment when the asset is located at the very bottom. But it is still better to earn on the constant growth of the asset Wink I also think that now is not the limit of the bear market, but I still think and hope that it will not come to 11k.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2022, 11:28:09 PM
It is difficult for the players to play football constantly and to start the nations league directly after their league is over. The Italy - Germany match is the result of this. The players are reluctant. Most football players are used to taking a vacation after the league and they want it. The body is getting tired. They seem to be at a low level psychologically as well. It was really bad that the nations league started a week after the leagues ended. There are players who have had very long and difficult seasons. Men should have at least some rest, both physically and mentally. When this is the case, they can't give themselves to the game anyway, they play very reluctantly.
Players are right to complain, some of them play over sixty games and this friendly league started without any holiday. Other players are already on vacation but these top class ballers constantly play matches. It's also hard for anybody to predict results of these games. You better stay away from these matches. I wouldn't call any result as "surprising" anymore. Whole construction of this tournament is bad, not a well-thought and doomed to disappear at some point.
Well, actually, the purpose of this tournament was quite good, which seemed to be to give at least some importance to those friendly matches that were held before. Another question is that I myself have certain questions about the timing of this tournament, when the players are expecting an overstretched season with the World Cup in an unusual period and indeed the best players in the world would be better now to rest once again and spend extra time with their family than to spoil their health in the UEFA Nations League now. However, UEFA also wants to have its piece of the pie this season, as does FIFA Wink
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2022, 11:17:43 PM
It is not really that much shocking to say that Bayern will be champions again. The next best team was Leipzig just a year ago, they got their manager and defender, this year it was Dortmund, which lost Haaland as well, so the upcoming year it will be simple again, whoever gets even a little bit better ends up with losing important pieces which makes things easier for Bayern all over again. Whereas, Bayern is so rich and well that they are considering selling Lewandowski, the player that should have won ballon d'or, and literally broke the record for the most goals in a season just a year prior, Bayern is THAT good and should definitely win the league.
Oh, I still think that Bayern Munich would have been happy to keep Lewandowski for another season before the end of his contract, which, however, the club was originally going to do, it's just that the striker himself is no longer enthusiastic about such a prospect and would like to change the club and the environment. I had more expectations from Leipzig this season, but the club failed the first half of the season and so we saw the classics of the genre again, when the only competitor of the Bavarian giant was the club from Dortmund. Until Dortmund changes its strategy of making money by selling players, then I think Munich can be calm about this particular competitor.

I have to say Vettel may not be racing just for the money, but he definitely likes the money part for sure. He is racing in a terrible car right now, barely fighting for points, you think that he would be willing to race with such a horrible team and a car, without the money part? He can't be getting into another seat where he would be getting paid more, so that is why he picked Aston Martin. If he can find a seat like McLaren who definitely needs a veteran like Vettel, and would get paid the same exact amount, he would definitely accept it. When he started out in Aston Martin that could be a price drop for him, but that was mainly because that's all he got as an offer.
Still, I think that Sebastian Vettel's prospects are quite vague in Aston Martin, despite the fact that the team management directly states the opposite about the extension of cooperation with the driver. Still, Vettel has not been successful enough lately, despite all his previous achievements and regalia. Therefore, there is probably a question of finances when the team would like to reduce the level of his salary. Personally, I'm not sure that the option with Mick Schumacher is better than the option with Vettel, given how the son of a great racer crashes cars in Haas. The option with Alonso is also interesting, but here it is worth taking into account his age.

I have heard that Bayern Munich already made an offer for Sadio Mane which equals to a sum around 25 million pounds. But Liverpool turned it down. It is a funny offer to me honestly because his current market value is 80 million euros but the offer is even below the half of his value. I'm aware of a fact that Sadio Mane is 30 years old now but he is still a very productive player.
Bayern Munich is trying to lowball on Mane because Mane has shown that he is interested on moving away this season. Aside from that Mane's contract expires next year so its either Liverpool sell him right now or let him go for free next year because Liverpool might not even renew his contract due to the increment of wages that he asked for ( also not to mention that their main star Salah asked for the same terms as well so they are kinda in pinch right now )
Still, I am quite surprised that a club like Liverpool, which claimed the title of the winner of the Champions League and was one step away from it, cannot pay decent wages to its leaders like Mane and Salah. Still, as far as I understand, Bayern would also not want to raise Lewandowski's salary, so as not to make a huge difference in wages compared to other players. That is, as far as I understand, Mane will not receive the same money as Lewandowski, but the club still does not seek to extend his contract and raise wages. In any case, I also think that 20 million is too small a price for a player like Mane and therefore I agree with Liverpool on this.

Napoli were a disappointing team to me as they were far behind the first two teams in the standings before entering final weeks of the season. They started the season very nicely and they even took the lead at some point too. But they had consistency problems which caused them to lose their chance for the championship earlier. This may still be a sign for next season. If they become more consistent they can fight for the championship until the end. After Milan and Inter I would like to see Napoli making it to the championship too.
Napoli failed to maintain the continuity of their performance. If I'm not mistaken, Napoli continued to fight for the title until the 20th week. But gradually they started losing their position. And at the end of the season, they are about 17 points behind AC Milan. If Napoli's goal is to win the title, then their performance must be consistent and stable. Otherwise, they will be third or fourth in the table next season.
Napoli lacked the depth and strength of the squad to qualify for the Scudetto this season. In general, I was very surprised by the start of the team and that the club stayed among the leaders for a long time and had chances to win the title almost until the end of the championship. In principle, if the club conducts spot reinforcements and retains the backbone of the squad, it may well claim high positions for next season, although I'm still not sure that it will be possible to repeat the mostly fantastic last season, when competitors are energetically strengthening. Here the hope of the Napoli fans should rest on the fact that Luciano Spalletti will draw the right conclusions and that the team will only become stronger.
