This coin did what people thought VRC was going to do. Goes to show how a pump group + hype is needed. No amount of good work will move prices. We'll see what else comes out in the future but still missing a pump group and hype. A pump group needs millions of coins which won't happen either. I'll watch and see what happens.

As refunds seem more and more unlikely people try to get out what they can. A work in progress coin that could take off in the future.

Bagholding cheap coins doesn't fell as bad but it's still bag holding.

It's the remaining people thinking they are getting a deal on cheap coins not realizing they probably won't be able to sell higher than they bought in.

Oh goody another coin that was quickly mined. These never end well (see every other coin) but as long as you get out at the peak of the hype you won't end up holding the bag. And yes yes "this time it will be different"

When the coin launched I knew something was up right away. It didn't make sense why people were buying so high on a brand new coin. Mining was 7 days and everyone was mining. Why mine and buy high on a coin that will be finished being mined in 7 days. There were many warning signs but after Mintpal added the coin the pump group got to work. All the hype got everyone else involved and then the whales got people to add buy support all the way down by their comments and what not. As I've been saying it's only a matter of time before a large holder sells into the remaining walls. Most people will just hold and go down with the ship though.

+1 myself and others got our buy orders ready. Since the presale sold out the only way to get some coins is to buy them on Mintpal. I hope people sell when Mintpal enables deposits.

Just another quickly mined coin that is going to fail. There is a pattern but people don't see it. (hint: quickly mined coins don't do well long term)

What I don't get is why not wait till now to release the coin. "Hey in 5 days we'll have First P2p Decentralized Trustless Anonymous Wallet"

Instead we got people thinking this coin is dead / pump and dump / bagholders city.

Now we got an anon coin. Great. Now what. We wait another 2 months for the next feature. Then hope someone uses it.

I guess it is a nice hobby. Code some stuff and show people what you can do.

What I'm hoping in the background somewhere is a person with connections, marketing team, an awesome product that will be finished before launch. Then they come out and say check this out you can use all this stuff from day 1. We got connections so these big players will be backing the coin and using it. This marketing / PR team will get the word out to other people. We got videos and all sorts of stuff to help everyone.

Instead we got 50 coins just throwing stuff out hoping something will stick.

Good fucking points. Why would someone want to go through the effort to acquire VRC and then make a purchase. Most people don't care about being even somewhat anonymous. And you can easily lose all your money and it isn't even your fault since all it takes it a large hack and they dump it all.

Right now just BTC because so many people are deep in it will last. It's up to the devs to add on to BTC but they gotta go slow to not mess anything up or make it worse.

For another coin to take over 2nd place needs to be really good. Coins like Ethereum and VIA may have a shot. It gives people a purpose to check it out and invest and use and not just gimmicks.

So think of it this way. CLOAK will have this great anon. Good. They have a market place. Good. They have other things coming out. Great.

People flock to CLOAK. They buy and sell everything they need. They are using anon. New things come out and they can do more things with CLOAK and use anon. Now we got a ton of people using this.

Now in the news around the world reporters are saying the world debt is going up quicker. Governments are going broke. People are not paying taxes thanks to online money and being able to buy everything they need without paying taxes. More debt, broken roads, schools are not up to par and kids are turning out dumber than they are now.

Bitcoin is going to be regulated and people hate that. We should be our own banks. But then when people stop paying taxes we will have a ton of things to worry about. Regulate bitcoin and make it so we can pay taxes in bitcoin and things won't be as bad.

New coins that want to be the end all need to be not anonymous and be able to work with businesses and governments. Sure maybe 1-2 anon coins with some cool features may end up with a high market cap but there will be other coins that go higher and can compete with bitcoin. You need to get the businesses with a lot of money on your side and once you do that they will throw some money into your coin.

People acting like CLOAK is the one and only coin that everyone must use because no other coin will ever come close.

No one is going to put CLOAK in the top 5 when they list off coins that are a viable replacement for centralized commerce by the end of the year.

It is true that CLOAK bounced around between 15k and 40k till it went to 90k.

It only went to 90k though because it got added to Mintpal and got the Mintpal boost. It fell back to 30k afterwards. Whales were able to feed off what the coin was doing though and get it back to 100k to 150k before taking off on all the hype.

With this coin you have ninja launches or you know in advance. No hype. No Mintpal boost either. Are there whales in the coin still? There was at least 1 whale that took it to 40k and did they leave?

With so many coins it's hard to get new money since people are either going broke or leaving and not coming back or at least for now.

This was a once in a life time thing. Bitcoin which was cheap got pumped. Everyone now rich and not many coins to pick from so they pumped LTC, PPC, NMC. FTC and look at all of them now. The people that got rich off those coins moved to Cryptsy and Mintpal and probably lost a lot of money and made other people rich. Eventually the people remaining moved to Bittrex where we are now. Is this the end? Bitcoin won't make everyone 10x-100x richer any more nor will other coins.

All I see are people throwing money into coins and going broke.

The few remaining rich people are throwing their money into high quality coins. Some thought it was CLOAK but it seems they got tricked and it just keeps getting dumped. VIA seems to be holding up well.

Now you people can go back to doing whatever the fuck you do. Just know if something is going to happen it'll take weeks.

Here is who you should blame for the price drop. The whale that jacked the price up to 40k so soon. The idiots who dumped hundreds of thousands of coins around 1k sat on ccex. The whales who rented rigs and mined a ton of coins. Finally the bagholders who bought high and then dump only to buy lower and then dump again to buy lower. Together you all pumped and dumped this coin to the point of no return.

It just pisses me off that after weeks of updates and low key discussion that some idiot has to some in here and spam stupid shit nonstop for no fucking reason. There is another thread I'm following that went months without anyone and as soon as it's ready to launch someone comes out and starts bothering everyone.

It's like let me go to your business and bother you and your customers nonstop trying to drive them away and see how you like it.

Good news gives regular people the mindset that the price will go up and they should set buy orders or buy. The whales take advantage of that mindset and are able to sell more coins then they could have if there wasn't any news. I'm sure most people here don't follow other coins but I can say this isn't the only coin where this happens. Well known tactic that people keep falling into. So go take some btc from your wallet and give them to the whales. The rich get richer because they could afford to buy a lot (or mine) at a low price and not care if the coin doesn't get a pump. If coin does get a pump they win.
