661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Step you have to take before venturing into the market on: January 21, 2024, 05:04:25 AM
(2) you must learn how to be patient: without patience it's nearly impossible to be successful in the crypto market, that is one of the virtue required in the craft.

Acquiring the knowledge and applying it in your trading with a proper risk management strategy in addition to having patient with your trade can be a strong weapon against the market psychology which can be deceptive to new traders that  may have acquired the knowledge quite well but lacking patient with their trades, that at the event of unpleasant move of the market  against their trade they get too quick to take profit instead of being patient with their trade for the greater success of it that lies ahead with time. Some even out of fear exit the trade with a loss.

665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Increased Gambling Risk for the Younger Generation on: January 20, 2024, 09:29:26 PM
As parents our role and responsibility in giving our children the moral guide on how to go about life, teaching them about the consequences of certain things they will want to go into out of peer pressure without due diligence, things like gambling. Looking at how the gambling industry is waxing and employing all attractive strategies and outlook to lure the young to gambling in the disguise of getting entertained if we fail to caution them beforehand it will be very difficult to discourage them from continuing when they have already engaged into it and getting addicted to fun that follows. Am of the opinion that school curriculum should fix in a space for admonishing the young about the evils for gambling if they go about it the wrong way. It will really be helpful .
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 20, 2024, 08:05:40 PM
Now, the mum is calling on everyone she could to intervene, discipline the child and force him to provide the money in any means he can without the concern of how he could refund the money.

Question: would she be so disheartened and mad as this if the son had won the bet on a multi million price?
Dear fellows, let's assume you are the mom, what would be your state of mind on this context?
Am not against my son gambling if he's up to the age of been called an adult and he must have started living on his own before he can be gambling, not staying under my roof and be competing in gambling with me whereas he's not working. That's what am against and concerned with.

I think that boy needs to be disciplined in the hard way, for him to have the effrontery to make transfer from his mum phone to his bet account then if he's not deal with in the hard way he will do worst things that this just to get money to feed his gambling thirst.
667  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 20, 2024, 07:49:04 PM
What makes casinos using bitcoin endeavor to get a license for operation is due to the mentality of the gamblers that make use of these casino's, hardly you see gamblers get so comfortable making use of casinos that are not registered and licensed under government as they fear that they can be easily scammed and there's no channel that they can go register their grievance that could compel the casino to do the needful. Despite this, there are still casinos that operates without license and they have been with a recommendable reputation.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 19, 2024, 10:44:57 PM
So, ultimately, the choice is yours. You can make the most of it or maintain the status quo. However, it is important not to see it as regret if defeat occurs. Because if you cannot embrace the forthcoming consequences, this may result in feelings of anxiety and annoyance that can leave you overwhelmed and dissatisfied with the end result.
If in such situation and the gambler feel truly convicted that the game is going to end in his favour and decides not to cash out, I trust his conviction should also extend to accepting the consequence any result that occurs and deal with it maturely. As an adult we are meant to take responsibility of the consequences of our decisions we make unless the gambler in this context won't be able to accept the opposite result then it's prudent he cash out as to not get himself locked in unending regret.

670  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the export of goods related to manufacturing capabilities or resources? on: January 19, 2024, 09:44:38 PM
Is export capacity related to manufacturing capabilities or to resources available in those countries?
In economics there's what is known as comparative advantages it's refers to the resourcefulness of a country to produce a particular good or service at a good and favourable opportunity cost than their counterpart and this is as a result of them not just having manufacturing capabilities but abundance of that resources available in the countries that they turn out to be next to none in that area as they don't only have enough to feed their citizens only buy sufficient to export in larger capacity. So it can be argued that yes, export capabilities is heavily related to available resources than manufacturing only.

You can have the manufacturing ability but if the resources is not abundantly available your manufacturing capacity will be limited as such affecting export capacity.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: January 19, 2024, 06:16:50 PM
It been a big challenge in most country since the fuel subsidy and bad economy some country  are facing.A lot of people find it difficult to feed themselves and families, Now it Christmas season alot of people don’t have transport to go their various stats due to the high cost of transportation,  bad road and insecurities in some nation, some many lose intrest. As a good country the government should have free bus for less privileged to travel home for season like this.that why cryptocurrency should be taught free to individual with serious mind, with the rate of overpopulation and poverty in the country it something everyone or most people suppose to learn because the world is going digital and our currency is not appreciating compared to other currencies and the value is so low.that why am suggesting that Bitcoin and altcoin should be taught free of charge and the knowledge should be pass to the younger ones since they are the leader of tomorrow let see how it can reduce the rate of poverty or eradicate poverty entirely in every Nation. The world is suffering and Bitcoin should be introduced in every nation and should be freely
The underlying fact is that we will always have the poor amongst us and there's no way poverty can be totally eradicated it can only be cushioned, even the government they can only try doing their best in rendering and providing social welfare services and employments but yet it still won't eradicate but rather cushion the effect of poverty, and this is something that bitcoin can't do either, bitcoin can only add to the cushioning of the effect of poverty on people (those that have adopted) .  If you're in a country where your local currency is gravely hit by inflation it is wise you start saving your money in foreign currency like the US dollar or importantly in bitcoin but also consider it's volatility into mind.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 18, 2024, 10:37:27 PM
What Nigeria played today the win this match based on lock and without the penalty I don't think that it would have at least call one go the players of Nigeria they would have scored one goal before the first half so that is why I don't believe in Nigeria football team and I cannot say that they did well in this month because they are supposed to score at least three goals I don't know for others prediction I will do this method of their playing team I don't think that Nigeria will make this game because it is over yours that what they are playing cannot take them to highest level
Many fans are praising the super eagles of showcasing a wonderful performance base on the grounds that they won Ivory coast in that game which was very obvious that Ivory coast wasn't playing like a good team, unlike how they played against Guinea Bissau and won them but with Nigeria they were really weak so to say. Nigeria team needs to play like a team with one objective, watching that game tonight I discovered greed and individuality in the goal mouth among the Nigerian strikers, they each want to score even in position they were supposed to pass the ball to their teammate who's in the right position to score. If they take this style of play against a more better team they won't be lucky as they were with Ivory coast tonight in scoring 1:0 from a penalty kick.

674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social engineering a risk to security on: January 17, 2024, 03:54:11 PM

The thing is,I have read quite some thread on security but never knew it was possible to deceive ones network provider to transfer a phone number to another.
The network providers operators are humans like us and are prone to making mistakes of falling for these scams by this pro-scammers. We should take it seriously upon ourselves to make our privacy a priority securing our data's at all cost. There are growing number of new patterns of scam use by scammers and it's disturbing that some people are not at alert about this which is why there will always be victims to these scam activities. The baiting attack from experience I have seen people fall victim of crimes they knew nothing about by picking an ATM card or sim card they found in public places with the thinking that the real owner might have forgotten not knowing that it's robbers that drop it there after killing their victim and police could use that to track you holding you for a crime you don't know. So in certain cases it better never to play the good guy.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 17, 2024, 03:02:34 PM
Glancing through the article https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-rent-agreement-argentina-landlord-tenant one would conclude adoption is striving in Argentina. Paying for a house with bitcoin sounds to me a mistake or lack of financial knowledge. Bitcoin is better than Fiat. Bitcoin increases in value and fiat faces inflation. Why then would one spend Bitcoin instead of fiat on a house rent which may expire in few years? Accommodating the Bitcoin can birth the person more money to pay his next house rent. But fiat wouldn't add any interest in the bank. Moreover the house owner will not hold the Bitcoin.
You won't hold bitcoin forever for at some point you would have to spend it and yours may not be for house rent but something also important as rent fee. Moreover bitcoin can be use as a measure of exchange so why shouldn't it be used for the payment of goods and services, it should be known to some of us who don't know, that, bitcoin wasn't created mainly for hodling only in making profit from it, the P2P use of bitcoin was made to kill the influence of the need for a middleman and by virtue of bitcoin being divisible it therefore mean it was also meant for payments in buying and selling of goods and services in as much as the two parties agrees to make use of it instead of fiat.

From what I read about Daniele De Rossi's professional history as a coach, I didn't see him being a coach with a lot of experience in many teams and he didn't have any success with any big team. We'll see how he will do from now on as Roma's coach, the fact is that I particularly watched Roma's games because Mourinho was the coach, now that he is no longer Roma's coach, I'm going to stop watching Roma's games and I will only focus on following the results of all series A games and I will place bets on games in which I see that I have a chance of getting it right
From the whole scenario right from budget funding to signing better players into the team we can see that the fault lies on Roma owners but they don't want to accept that reality that the performance of the club which has resulted to it's current position on the table is their making and not just on the coach. To be frank sacking Mourinho was a wrong decision as the points difference between the top five teams on the table that of Roma sitting in the 9th position is not much of a significant difference that can't be catched up but how can that happen with no improving changes in the team's squad, and the only change the Roma owners could come up with is to sack a coach that has been so passionate about the club putting his best to using the squad he has available. From now till June we are watching to see what and where De Rossi  can take Roma to because professional he's not an equal to the Special-One Mourinho.
677  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerians should learn to work for dollars in recent time on: January 16, 2024, 06:50:58 PM
Earning in dollars isn't the problem but what if you are earning in dollars then you want to purchase things in Nigeria and we know how costly things are now, so the higher you earn in dollars, the higher you also spend it in Naira.
You no dey wrong when you say to earn in dollars no be the problem which mean say inno go solve the matter but the dollar better pass to earn for Naira as the dollar get be strength against inflation when compared to our local currency. You no gonfit take person wey the earn in Naira compare am to dollar earners, because if you the earn in Naira when dollar rise against the naira the value of your your earning amount no the follow rise but for dollar the value the rise against the Naira when you covert am.
678  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 16, 2024, 06:34:36 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group.
Researches should be conducted in order to let us know with accuracy the target audience and age range of gambling crypto casino's public target.
It's quite simple to know how the online casino's and sports betting sites target their audience using this forum for an example, we have a community here in the forum that's here for a common purpose bitcoin/cryptocurrency which explicitly says it all that any casino or gambling sites that makes use of crypto for it's deposit would target a crypto community like the bitcoin talk for audience.

Another element is that of on land based casinos and sport betting companies their agents mostly target densely locations occupied by low income earners and poor people as it is believe that poor people take gambling as a possible means of escaping poverty as they may get lucky to have a big win that can change their life. And this mentality keep attracting them to gamble without season which indirectly puts the gambling companies in constant  profit. Etc.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 16, 2024, 09:40:06 AM
Jose Mourinho has been sacked as AS Roma coach with an immediate effect with the owners of the claiming they needed a change in the club which necessitated their action. Mourinho who was employed as the coach of the team in 2021 during his time won the UEFA Conference League title and led Roma to the Europa league cup finals unlucky for him he lost  to Sevilla. Despite the management of Roma never giving him the budget he requests to get the level of talented players of his taste Mourinho still was able to take the club to achieve this height only to get sacked sadly. This to me is a risky decision by the As Roma owners I wonder who at this moment can fit into coaching this current Roma team and make success without available funds to sign in needed stars into the club.

680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 16, 2024, 08:48:59 AM
In 2 days the AFCON games start, honestly I'm very worried about my country's national team, with so many weak teams, my country's national team fell into the group of very strong teams, I can't stop thinking that we will be very humiliated on the 14th when we play against Egypt, I start to think that we could concede a lot of goals in the game against Egypt and as if that wasn't bad enough, we will still have to play against Ghana which we will definitely lose, I saw Ghana and egypt the way they play, they are good teams with a good squad. although Ghana when I watched them play, they were having a hard time beating a weak team

I share in your fears as it's clear for all eyes to see from the group but this is football and it comes with loads of surprises which makes the sport never a dulling moment for fans and viewers. You may be shocked that the most favorite teams end up not getting a favourable results which then kills their chances of qualifying to the next round from the group stage while the weaker team as we think them to be turn out to qualify by luck. Just keep your fingers cross while we wait for the events to unfold and just wish your country's team all the best hoping they will deliver the best of their talents.
Football comes with loads of surprises as we all know but not in the case of, Egypt and Ghana not qualifying for the group stage they fall into. I see it in no way, that Cape Verde or Mozambique would qualify ahead of Egypt or Ghana in the Group B stage.

Egypt and Ghana are among the countries that we hope or believe have the chance of becoming the African champions this year, expecting them to be kicked out of the group stage by weak countries is way beyond imagination.
No need to think about the impossible. The Group B-qualified countries are to be Egypt and Ghana. Mozambique and Cape Verde should try their luck again in the next AFCON if only they qualify for it. Till then we hope that they fall into a group that has weak performance as a country.
During the weekend the results of the matches from this group are only but a start of the reflection of my statement before the games started that most of the team's we deem as  favourable teams might not be having favourable results, the result from the game between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea 1:1, Egypt and Mozambique 2:2 before these matches kicked off some us thought the big teams were going to swallow up the underdog's but it rather ended in an unexpected stalemate levels. Meanwhile the most shocking of them all was that game between Ghana vs Cape Verde it was shocking to see what an impressive performance Cape Verde introduced in that game to win by 1:2, and now they are currently topping their group with 3 points while other big teams are just 1 points each. A team least expected now leading the group, I look fort to see more astonishing results as the tournament unfolds.
