Don’t think they will have any problems as long as they don’t allow participants from Us to take part of the ICO, or are ICOs in general not allowed in US? Nope, it is allowed in Us but it has some different regulations like no dividends. It's not easy to get that permission I can say. I didn't check they are accepting or not but if they accept Us citizens they can get too much funding from Us because they are based in NY. If the token isnt considered as a security, there wont be any problem at all. If its considered as a security, it needs to be licensed or registered. If the virtual token or coin is a security, federal and state securities laws require investment professionals and their firms who offer, transact in, or advise on investments to be licensed or registered. You can visit Investor.gov to check the registration status and background of these investment professionals. And as far as i know, this project's token isnt a security. |

The minimum funding goal for the Gatcoin project is $20 million USD. Does anyone know how much they raised and if they hit the soft cap?
Yikes, I somehow overlooked that. Looking at some other projects it seems currently hard to raise more than $5 million. The days of Tezos, EOS and Filecoin are definitely behind us. At least until the fork. I hope they adjust the budget and continue. They have a great product and vision but it is not that easy to raise 20m$ in this market. Maybe 20m $ is just a target but not soft cap for them. I believe after s2x fundings will improve but still 20m $ is looking too high to reach. Dont worry about this, they still have so much time, the ICO will end on January 15th, 2018, its about 2 months from now. They will have a demonstration app and im sure it will attract many more investors. |

By the way, just stumbled about a German article in which a social network called “fancy” got mentioned. It seems it is a French social marketplace platform. Does someone has experience with it? Is it good? I would like to know if there is demand for something like Soma.

Does "Tokens to be distributed" isn't visible from your side? It's the result of ICO. Currently more than 416million tokens have been distributed to all investors from 1billion supply (850million is the max total of ICO offering). Edit : they had used % as ICO result, but they changed it to total tokens which have been sold. They should also show how many days are left for the token sale on the front page. Because I remember it was really short and people might not know it. Agree, i think countdown to the end date of the ico is also important for visitors to see. |

Are restaurants customers really going to use a tablet to order a romantic dinner? What's wrong with good old menu cards and waiters?
There's demand on automation from business owner and demand on discounts from retail customers I think I've seen something like this in a McDonald's, it was pretty weird. There's the regular teller, but you can order through a huge touch screen elsewhere in the restaurant, pay immediately and wait for your number on the receipt to be called to pickup your order at the teller. I suppose they could remove the teller too in the future, just order with your smartphone and have the food delivered by drones or something. ReOrder is targeting a small-medium retail entreprises to help them to grow and compete with the big one. Maybe there are some people who want a lunch/dinner with a luxurious atmosphere and want to be served by waiters in a big and popular restaurant, but there are also some people who just want a casual/normal dinner with fast service. |

It's not impossible to raise these amounts these days. The UTrust ICO, for example, is really popular at the moment. And the main-ICO for Gatcoin will be mid-December, the market situation will probably look different than today because BTC 2x fork is long over.
Tough call. There is also a chance all ICOs are going to implode. Look at Tezos, a record breaking ICO, it is on the brink of falling apart. Every exchange is great for a beginning ICO Bigger exchanges will come as soon the volume is there. Better exchanges will come for sure! The main goal of each coin is to get on a larger exchange, I think eventually the Gatcoin will be released in the top 20 and will be traded on the largest exchanges. Yes a bigger volume is always needed, especially if the project already has high demands Well they will get their volume with time, and then boom, exchanges will be happy to list them then because they also can get a lot of money with it. The potential for moves for such a coin is certainly appealing to many large exchanges, I see the possibility of great locations for Gatcoin. Yes the patent process is really interesting, it’s seems to be users friendly and its the most important things for that kind of project, soma platform will have a lot of users with a nice design and a simple utilisation.
Let's hope they will have an app which is easy to understand because that's most important to attract new users. If the ICO is successful, they'll have enough money to do so, I've no worries about this. yes right. soma already collected good money for start this project without worry. but we want soma achieve maximum hardcap. Mobile app development business is huge and DAO Playmarket's concept was in the right timing. Google might be intimidated by this. To become recognised by google this store would need minimum 1 million daily users. I think it will be hard to achieve this. It doesnt need to be recognized by Google, Dao Playmarket 2.0 is a direct competitor of Google App store. To be a good competitor , i think they need a really damn good marketing team. They already have a nice concept, but i think you still need to beautify the display design of the app store. |

I heard that in the future the company plans to produce cheap and productive consoles. It's impressive Right! We are trying to decide, android or linux. For sure Linux, much more possibilities in my opinion. Android is nice, but you have a lot of limitations.. You mean android smartphone right? SOMA needs your help! There were a lot of questions about the tokens and what will be burned and what not. We told we would hold a liquidity reserve to support the smooth functioning of the SOMA platform. We were thinking about 10% of the unsold tokens. For the moment nothing is created, so there is no liquidity reserve. We think this reserve would help any liquidity problems with the SCT to support smooth fuctioning of the SOMA platform. If investors hold on there SCT we think there should be a problem with the liquidity. So with this reserve, users can still buy SCT after ICO to be used on the platform, this will not be at ICO price. The devs have decided to listen to our great community.
We will consider based on the feedback if the liquidity reserve will be created or not.So please give us a well argumented feedback on what you think its best for SOMA and his future. It was just 20% in the beginning of today. Did they lower the cap? How come they are now at 50% so fast? Someone can explain this! They mentioned here that there were some issues with the progress bar not updating properly. I guess now it's fixed and shows the real amount of distributed tokens. Yes. And there is a bonus right? so would you put a counter of ETH amount on your site? on your progress bar. |
