My wallet won't get up to date, anyone having this issue?  It sync'd up with every block, but I can't use it for staking & says 'not up to date' .....  Huh

please go to debug console, call getinfo, and post the output here (all lines except balance and ip of course)

write programs for bitcoins. Invest in yourself, specifically in your knowledge base.

Thanks for this - I've been meaning to learn (I know java, but my knowledge is rudimentary at best) so I can create bitcoin-related apps/programs!

666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: September 10, 2015, 07:18:29 PM
Trust no one in Bitcoin industry, both services and individuals.
Never do business without escrow.
Never save your money in exchanges. Only put your money/btc when you want to trade and withdraw immediately when your trade is finished.

indeed. Even if a exchange or online wallet looks safe there us always a change for a hack.

Even the offline wallet was hacked, if you have heard for brainwallet then you should think twice Smiley

Actually, it'd be best to think three times, twice in your head and the third thought kept in a secret location elsewhere...  Grin
667  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: September 10, 2015, 07:17:51 PM
Currently have 0.2btc but will convert it in a fiat one of these days. Really need to cashout it because of personal reason. Because of this the road for 1 bitcoin will takes too long again to achieve.

I have the same amount right now...and a few months ago I cashed out .2BTC for personal reasons as well!  No need to worry about the future, you can come back around & maybe even end up with more btc than before Smiley

what does 2. 21 Day Trust Key Expiration mean?

1. 5% Variable Interest how will the intererest vary and depending on what?

May I suggest you go back and read the thread, the answers to your questions are within!

To stake you need an active trust key, currently they expire after 24hours of not staking.

Interest rate increases the longer you stake, currently to a maximum of 3%.

Is that 3% total, or 3% more than the average holder (not staking 24hrs+)?
672  Other / Off-topic / Re: can you pee and masturbate at the same time? on: September 10, 2015, 03:57:22 AM
If you a hole say 3-4 fingers below your belly button you will have acessed the bladder and you could pee at the same time. It should not be to painful, maybe a slight discomfort at first as you cut through the skin into the bladder. Be prepared to  towel off though.

OH SNAP! Neucoin beta  Shocked

"Neucoin bounties".....

.....Are they still not giving away the original neucoins for the survey?  Is this some sort of survey-ponzi?  Has a new breed of scam spawned from the darkness?

Who wants to trade some coins?
677  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you spending your Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2015, 01:37:59 AM
why not spend your bitcoin on altcoin pump & dumps, get out quick with small profit, it's like playing faucets but with bigger rewards  Grin
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rubycoin blowing up! on: September 10, 2015, 01:37:07 AM
Oh I've sold all right...made huge profits off this pump.  Weird they chose RUBY though...?

As for the others, what's up with DASH, MAID, VNL, NXT?  They're all in the red, big time....buy or leave them be?  Will they follow the same trend as RBY in the following months?

Don't just look at the charts, do your research about the coins. Predicting shitcoins like ruby is impossible, getting in on this pump and dump would be either pure luck or sitting on inside information what the pumpgroup is doing next.

My own take on Dash and NXT is that the hype is over, now price might be falling back to what they are really worth. Both are promising tech, whatever happens to price now is in the hands of the devs.

Trust me, I do my research.  Haven't bought in any of them - for reasons similar to your last sentence  Smiley

Oh yeah - got out of RUBY with a profit, looks like that pump & dump is over with!  Thanks for the reply man Cheesy
