I will be more agree if bitcoin to be payment, but not replace fiat. I think replace fiat is not that easy to do. But be something that can be as payment with fiat and another digital payment. With that, people can choose what they want to use and not afraid if they are break the law in country that he use bitcoin as payment.

I think it can reach that price. Because hype from halving really can make people think to buy bitcoin before it is too late. That is why in last halving price of bitcoin can pumped so high. But for only $15000, i think it still can be reached. |

I picked on Doge, and TRON (TRX), both of that 2 coin i use to deposit like in sportsbet i use TRX because i save my money on local exchanger and fee to send TRX is only a little amount. Maybe most people who save their money in exchange will look other coins that BTC because fixed fee BTC that sometimes too high.

One problem can't solve from first, if new investor can't trust new fresh coin why they don't invest in old coin. We several good coin already exists in cryptocurrency even with very low price. Even I don't think there could be a trust problem. All solution is now is the correction time!!
For me, old coins can be good for trading. And make investment is good on new project or maybe big coin for long term. That is what some people aim because new project or maybe new tokens that listed in market they will aim for short pump but big. sometimes some new coins are full of surprises like you said. big pump but only happens in a short time. like ONE coin that doubles the price then falls. that's what short-term investors and traders are looking for. That is why i answer that, because from what i see, some project get pumped after listed in market. And i think that is the time for investors to take profit. But if they hold it and then they lose, they not must to blame the project because it is their choice. |

Maybe there are a project that allow us to deposit bitcoin or ethereum and with their card they can immediately exchange to fiat that we can use as long it supported VISA. Hello guys, having been here for a while now, I feel that having a higher percentage of your portfolio on bitcoin and maybe the rest 30 or 35% on already good and established altcoins like ETH, BCH, Stellar, brave. BNB, Vchain, etc, is a good way of staying away from useless projects. I have come to an understanding that running after new promising projects always leave you heartbroken in 97times, and running after IEO to quickly make up for past losses lead to more havoc on your fund. So stick to the safe zone.
People should know hold new tokens for long time not guarantee us to make profit, but hold big altcoin can give us chance to feel the profit from it and it must be know by a lot of people. With that, maybe less people will suffer from losing in ICO/IEO because they know what perfect time to get out and change to new project. |

Sometimes i have experience like yours. But what i do is after i sell my BTC, i know i can't regret it. Why? Because no more choice. (in case you OP don't have other option than sell your BTC) and sell it only in that amount of money you needed so you can save some. |

I don't have risk management beside of use capital that is not my daily money. So if i lose especially for hold bitcoin for long term, i wouldn't have big problem with it. Because for long term i don't need to think anything else beside bitcoin price and set up target and my emotion.

Guys have few half bitcoin i earned through promoting projects and i am looking for a way to increase this btc, i am thinking of using USDT to lock my btc when bitcoin reach 9,000 plus and buy back when it drop back to 8000 plus, is this possible or just a stupid idea over all?
It is not a bad idea. As long, you can accept possibility bitcoin price not reach that $8000 and keep increased. Because in trading, something unexpected sometime happen. If me i will do it half, and the other to sell or exchange bitcoin to usdt if bitcoin price increased again and not dump anymore. Long term holding can be used to maximize profit, but when unexpected market went to an intense value; it became unstoppable. The market will behave so fluctuating, as every trader will grab a quick profit to fulfill their target. Because of that idea, more demands will come and this contributes to the price increase successfully. About market that possibly unstoppable, maybe it is better for Op to split his capital so at least he wouldn't regret if bitcoin price keep pumped and miss the train because he still have half of his capital to sell in higher price. |
