661  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Human Resources" discussion on: December 30, 2015, 10:50:49 PM

If anyone gets such work there such that you can openly discuss it, I am sure we all would be interested to hear a little bit about it.

No one will openly discuss it because it is dark net after all. There is a reason why things in darknet usually stays there because no people discuss it and only a few people actually know how to access and get a good source of money from there

Well, yes, I understand that the Darknet is dark for many reasons.  But, not all of it is illegal stuff (?).
correct, the dark net or deep web technically refers to (to put simply) anything that is on the internet in some way but is not publicly indexed by something like google. this can include subscription / password protected content, database queries, etc. however, even if we limit the term to only include onionland, its not all drugs, guns, and money laundering. theres simple forums, akin to something like hackforums, although ive never really browsed it myself. theres also plenty of legal services, like tormail, bitcoin tumblers (bitcoinfog, although i think its dead. and these are legal, otherwise bitmixer would not exist), message boards, etc.
Until now keep away from Darknet due to the fact that everything I've heard about it was illegal .. I'm starting to slowly change my mind.. It seems that their campaign work Wink
thats because the media only reports on the illegal stuff that happens, like silk road and drug markets in general, child pornography, assassination markets, carded stuff, etc.
662  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 30, 2015, 10:37:49 PM
I'm the real Master-P. I left this forum over a year and a half ago. Imagine my surprise when I come on here to find that my old account was hacked and being used to escrow deals and whatnot. I've never acted as an escrow for anyone before. I mostly used to post in the altcoin section. I have no idea about the identity of the person who has been in control of my account for the last year and a half or so.
Why don't you say which account you sold the master-P account from?

T alleges P was hacked a year ago and started an escrow after the hack building a rep leading up to this or something - just another troll, lol
master-T --> Troll --> master-Troll

at least hes trying.
663  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 30, 2015, 09:01:41 PM
The gmail account I use for this account was compromised, therefore the hacker was able to change my password without changing the e-mail. Luckily the e-mail is a bit of a throwaway I use for bitcointalk only, but that only solidifies the hackers control over my bitcointalk account.

In any case, I don't care about that anymore. I'm back here only to see if I can help resolve this and turn things around. I don't care to have any rep of mine restored, regardless if you guys believe my side of the story or not, my reputation here has been tainted. Simply by the fact that I didn't keep proper back ups and conducted better security practices when accepting/downloading certain files from people here. It was my own negligence, and I understand that. I don't care if I get dox'd or not because I know I didn't steal anything from anyone. Someone here is trying to fuck with me and has been successful with it so far.

I'll keep everyone here updated.

Was your steam account hacked too? I'm wondering why you removed me and made your account private.
assuming the hack is true, it would only make sense that it was (since the person on the steam account messaged me that the master-p account was sold), along with the personal email account master-p used to sign up on that steam account (steamguard 2fa with email).
664  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 30, 2015, 08:52:01 AM
Just getting caught up on what happened. That is a pretty large sum of BTC to run off with.

There's no trail to his real identity?
tecshare says he has master-p's dox. its scheduled to be released on jan 1st if the coins are not returned or prooof is provided that master-p's accounts (all of them, forum, steam, email, including his wallet) were in some way hacked, leading to this whole fiasco.
665  Other / Meta / Re: How to change username? on: December 30, 2015, 05:09:20 AM
Or, have a good reason for theymos to take time to change it manually. I doubt this will happen though - it rarely ever does. You might need to have contributed to the forum, but don't quote me on it.

It did happen on rare occasions, but it was for done in the case of estabilished members and for a good reason.
just a question, what was the reason behind (former) katsou's name change? im assuming there had to be a really good reason.
666  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 30, 2015, 12:03:12 AM
Wtf does Quickseller have to do with this other than his vast experience running a fake escrow service and troll baiting?

Hopefully this is the real Master-P and we will have some evidence from him shortly.
it was just a joke.

Either way, I think I should invest in a popcorn company.

with all these master-p's showing up, its getting pretty confusing, so im metaphorically going to grab my popcorn and watch as it all unfolds.
667  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 29, 2015, 11:43:46 PM
Well, I don't exactly care about my dox. Post it all you want, it won't help the situation. I am not exactly threatened by that as many people in this community whom I've traded with already knows my name. But if you guys think threatening me by doxxing me is going to help, regardless of if you believe my story or not, then you're going about this all wrong.

Maybe you could prove that you are the real master-p by posting something in your dox, like your street address number or something small so those with your dox could confirm that it is the correct information..

Or maybe PM the dude with your dox and tell him so he can confirm it is correct..

It may not remove all doubt but may help.. IDK, just a suggestion..

I don't mind showing proof to TECSHARE to verify my dox. I can prove that it is the real me with a photo ID. But like everyone here likes to say, it's easy to buy a fake ID Right? So I don't know how credible this may seem to the community. With that said, I don't mind doing it as a way to further verify myself since there is no way the hacker would have access to my photo identification documents.

I would accept a video of you holding your ID with your full name, address, and photo, so that I can read it and making a quick comment about the situation as another form of authentication. Any still picture could have easily been raided from your PC. You could upload it to a private server and then PM me a link using www.privnote.com which will erase the text as soon as I read it. Once I have confirmed I have viewed it I will let you know so you can erase the original file. I will keep all of this information confidential of course. I would consider this sufficient evidence to delay your doxing and give you an appropriate amount of time to sort this out and refund the victims.
big claim from the third / fourth account, lost track. time for me to grab some of that quickseller brand popcorn i guess.
668  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 29, 2015, 09:50:11 PM
if it was a hack as the third account claims, then the hypothetical hacker would likely have taken the money already, assuming this hack even exists, the private keys are already compromised given the signed message: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1306301.msg13378692#msg13378692

really find it hard to believe this claim is true.

He wrote something about his wallet needs a verification from his smartphone. Does Armory support 2FA maybe? It might be an explaination for why the coins didn't move. Of course only when you want to take his story.
if the private keys were compromised, which, if this story is true, they should be considering the signed message linked in my quoted post, the hacker wouldnt need any sort of 2FA to move the coins. the private keys would give a hypothetical hacker full control of the coins regardless of whatever security measures armory provides.
669  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 29, 2015, 09:13:00 PM

i was the one who originally messaged him about the issue, and he has removed me since this blew up. i also recall EAL (the mod) was on his friends list too under the steam ign EAL F. Skillz (profile home page, saw it by chance), but i dont see him on there anymore either. pretty likely he (master-p) has already purged his steam to completely cut off ties from the forum.

Do you have any screenshots of your claims? Probably it would be best if you had showed them here. This might instigate him to think deeply about the situation.
ive already stated multiple times im not posting them publicly, theres no need for everyone to see this, just the right people. ive sent it to escrow.ms, shorena, mitchell (bitcoininformation), and quickseller. i dont care what anyone says about QS, fact remains hes absolutely great at detective work, and hes found numerous bits of info that points to an exit scam rather than an account sale and the new owner scamming. the only other non DT member id probably show this to is TECSHARE, as he currently claims to hold master-p's dox, and i would like him to be fully aware that this is an exit scam rather than a sold account before he decides to release the dox should it come to that.
670  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 29, 2015, 08:28:21 PM
Then why did he bother to reply here again? Somewhere he also posted that he doesn't care about being DOX-ed.... all are lies my friend Roll Eyes

BTW, somebody should try PMing him on Steam. Maybe that would be helpful, since he already claimed, Steam accounts can't be hacked!

671  Other / Meta / Re: Personal details for escrow on: December 29, 2015, 07:49:44 PM
Only pgp signs can solve this

How?

PGP keys can be bought and sold as well, which is supposedly what happened when master-P sold his account.
anything can be sold, from email accounts, private keys, personal (official government issued) documents, you name it.
also, i think people havent gotten the update in that thread. theres more evidence pointing towards an exit scam rather than an account sale at this point, the claim of having the account sold is probably a cover up.

Why we don't stop selling accounts on this forum. Make selling of your account lead to a permanent ban why people need a other account can us even do wonder if it will be done for good or ugly and dark cases.
ban or not, account sales will continue offsite. just because heroin isnt legal doesnt mean people arent finding ways to buy it.
672  Economy / Reputation / Re: A new kind of trust farmers? on: December 29, 2015, 09:30:45 AM
you can add the currency exchange section on top of that, I dont think many of these trades ranging in the below 5 dollar range are actual trades made from a need of the funds, considering the fees a lot of these trades go with. I haven't really gone back there in a while though.
then again, I never really understood why people want green numbers next to their name so much. imo an established reputation precedes green numbers by far.

oh ffs

turn your pc off

get back home

clean it up

assuming this is not a hoax which it likely is...
theres no 'likely' about it, its 100% a troll. anyone with common sense can see that right away.

---snip---

I don't see why people are believing that legal issue is going to help in any way. Account sales are allowed on the forum (they are discouraged) and if he proves it no one can do shit. This can also happen with newbie account's cause people are just trusting and no contracts are being signed and nothing legal is being done cause it again involves taxes and legal issues in order to promote the company or the signature here.

Many newbie scam's take place does it becomes a legal issue ? NO ,it's your trust which people abused.

This is global issue and none rules are applied. If a guy (like P) is managing multiple escrows and signaturing as well then he can easily make more than 6+ coins a month and 70+ coins a year but is he paying any taxes for that ? NO.There is nothing legal in the whole issue and there is no other way to get the funds back other than going to his home and kicking his ass.

I believe that the claim that the master-p account was sold has been more or less disproven, so I don't think he can use that as an excuse.

Right now the funds have not moved and the master-p account has really not made any kind of statement, so technically at this point he has not yet scammed (although this will likely, IMO, change in the future). Once master-p has "officially" scammed/stolen money (I am not sure what exactly would cause this to trigger) then he can be charged with a crime.

His crime would most likely be something along the lines of obtaining money by false pretenses, and I do not think the law would see what master-p appears to be doing as him defaulting on debt obligations.

The reason why it is so unlikely that most newbie related scams are not going to be prosecuted is due to the fact that so little evidence is left behind on the newbie related scams, while these larger scams are going to have more evidence of both the crime, and of the identity of the person who committed the crime. Plus the fact that the amounts are much larger in this case verses most newbie scams, as law enforcement is likely not interested in devoting large amounts of resources investigating a $5 petty theft.

This cant be considered not scamming yet. If he keep on being silent and doesnt move the coins then does this means he is not guilty? He should atleast make a reply about what is going on that he doesnt yet come to solve this problem. This could turn into another maidak saga
unfortunately, i dont think he will. i know for a fact that the individual i spoke with was master-p, and him having told the now apparent lie about the account being sold is pretty indicative that he wants to cover something up / delay for as long as possible. if he was having problems and actually intended to resolve the issues, im fairly certain he would have said something. but fabricating a story of how he sold his account? pretty sure that money's good as gone. if tecshare's threats dont convince him to return the coins, nothing will.

when maidak scammed did we get any replay from him?
iirc he (maidak) just disappeared for a while with no contact, not like this case where he fabricated a lie as a cover up.

plus, im pretty sure that if he intended to resolve the issue, he wouldve commented on the matter after seeing his drastically altered trust score as of ~20 ish (give or take, i dont care enough) when he was last active.
676  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 29, 2015, 02:52:44 AM
he should at least have give all the funds to someone else before selling his account if he was that responsible. telling us that he sold his account doesn't save him.

Man where did he come and tell he sold his account ? Did i missed somewhere ?
He claimed that he sold his account on the 3rd page of this thread, however more likely then not, that was a lie, potentially in an effort to prevent to have his dox released.
that, and there were a few holes / inconsistencies in the story master-p told me in a conversation where he claimed to have sold the account. i ignored those giving the benefit of the doubt (not to say i didnt think about them), but after seeing something QS managed to dig up, theres a lot of evidence pointing towards an exit scam rather than an account sale.
677  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 28, 2015, 11:27:31 PM
I wouldn't sell my account for 100BTC even... How someone could screw over the community after trying to help it is beyond me. If the account was sold or not doesn't really matter...the original Master-p is responsible in my opinion.

That's exactly how i think too. If someone can do such a thing and sleep well with it, i don't get it. You have to know what will happen and you betray a lot of people then.

A shortage of money is no excusion. He could have scam himself too and earn more so it might be he thought there is no risk but i REALLY can't imagine this. Especially escrows are trained, for their own good, in finding potential scams. He not realizing what could happen is beyond possible. So at this point it sounds like an excuse.

Can it be that he screwed up and lost his wallet without having it backed up? This could explain the unmoved coins. Still, for someone providing escrow being so careless would not be ok.

From every angle i look at, it sounds like an excuse. Or can the staff confirm a noticeable change around the time of claimed sale of account?
scam, lost wallet, original owner scam, or whatever, it stands that something happened and it should be assumed that those coins are lost from their rightful owners. as for change in activity, maybe the doublebot sig campaign? i dont think the old master-p, assuming the sold account theory holds true, would have offered to escrow funds for an obvious ponzi scheme's signature campaign.
678  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Looks like master-P got me too who the hell can i trust here???????? on: December 28, 2015, 08:35:31 PM
OP, let me get this straight: You sold the coin you were trusted with to pay for sig campaigns?
You know what that's called IRL, right? Embezzlement.
i think youre incapable of reading. that was his own coin he sold. the coins to pay campaign participants were entrusted to the person currently behind the master-p account.
679  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Looks like master-P got me too who the hell can i trust here???????? on: December 28, 2015, 08:31:39 PM
Same applies here :
Being an uninvited guest here I would like to put forth my opinions in response to the situation :

I think Campaign Manager is as much responsible of the funds as the campaign owners. Isn't it upto the campaign manager to decide the escrow? If yes, then he should somehow make up to it since he is the first person of contact for the participants from their recruitment to kicking them out.If No,he should again make an attempt to convince the campaign owner that its none of the participants fault but we made a wrong choice hence we must pay the participants for their time.In the end,I know its a long blame game and finally only participants will suffer.I'm not accusing him of anything but just generally relating to the situation, as it might occur in the near future as well.I have idea here (which will probably sort out responsible/serious managers from not-so-serious-one's).Campaign manager should be held responsible from now on for any such kind of situations and this should be made a rule ,if a manager is given a campaign ,he is responsible for any kind of payment loss and that even includes owner running away without paying.Trust me not everybody will like to be a campaign manager then.

I disagree 100% with this statement. We use escrows for a reason, so we are not responsible for the funds. The escrows used on this forum are supposed to be 100% trustworthy but look at what happens when users become greedy.

If i was holding these funds personally then id say yea i owe these campaigns but i help 0 of the money for these campaigns
same, theres a difference in the roles the escrow and manager take in the signature campaign business. the manager's job (assuming these roles are held by separate parties) is to count people's posts and relay the payment information to the person responsible, which may be the escrow or service owners. to place blame on the party that has no control or role in the payments themselves being sent out makes no sense to me.
680  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 28, 2015, 08:04:00 PM
All you self-righteous assholes can suck a bag of dicks. Its real easy to sit on the sidelines and criticize others, but what have you done to help this community? I have been here since 2011, and I sure as fuck have paid for my attempts to point out corruption around here (even when staff are involved), but none of you self-righteous slits were there then backing me up were you? I don't owe you or this community anything, so you can just get in line with the rest to go fuck yourself with your judgements and condemnations. Maybe next time I will just keep it to myself and you idiots can scour the net for his details yourself.

(P.S. Hey geniuses, releasing some ones DOX means you end any leverage you have over a scammer. I am giving him an opportunity to make this right and return the coins before doxing him, but keep judging people morally, it will take you places.)
point taken, but i only said i didnt condone it, nothing more, nothing less. thats just my opinion.
