Congrats bro!

Back in the day when you got loads of BTC with a CPU  Cry
2 years back i'd take the gamble and went solo, now it's just not possible anymore, or very hard to do Tongue
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: About p2pool,I will pay you some BTC for solve my problem. on: May 25, 2014, 10:43:12 AM
There is simply no connection possible with the host, in this case your new coin.
663  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [SELL] Cigarettes for $3-$4 per pack, shipped worldwide. Escrow accepted. on: May 24, 2014, 07:47:24 PM
What IF customs get hands on them? I mean, will they send them back, or what? I mean, in NL you pay 21% tax over the declared worth and probably another fee or 2, which would make for a expensive smoke Tongue
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Best "all round" bitcoin/computer protection? on: May 24, 2014, 07:44:16 PM
If you have a lot: more than 100 = cold storage (wallet on multiple USB's and HDD's but offline stored), if you just want to have a secured wallet you should use like the QT client and encrypt the folder and make it read only.
665  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Largest mining facility in the UK. on: May 24, 2014, 07:16:16 PM
Nice photoshopping  Roll Eyes

Anyway, so we should send our gear to you so you host it? Or we rent or is it private or what? Not really clear instructions I think...
666  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: May 24, 2014, 07:12:34 PM
I won't say they are not legit, but just think about things as these everytime you invest: Does 5 year look legit? (no), are the prices realistic? (no), do we have proof of theyr setup? (no).
Again, I won't say they are not legit, but I have my thoughs about it.

668  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solution to deal with heat from mining rigs on: May 22, 2014, 02:51:13 PM
Why not buy a AC? And placing your rigs in a ventilated room and there should be no problem, or just wreck a radiator of a old car and mod it so you can WC all your cards in serial!
669  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Guns for Bitcoins on: May 22, 2014, 02:48:19 PM
How would you verify if people have a gun licence? I mean, I don't know how it goes in other country's but here in NL we have to have licences for such things.
Let alone customs  Cry

It sure would be nice, but Bitcoin will be stamped as a dangerous method of getting guns or something like that, not that that bothers us.
670  Economy / Services / Re: Wouldn't it be profitable for sig services to offer jobs to newbies-jr.members? on: May 22, 2014, 02:43:33 PM
Newbie's have to learn how everything works first, and then they can place posts which are not full of BS, also, I think Bitcoin should be about "doing something" to earn, nothing comes at ease here is what I'm trying to say.

671  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S2 cheap and easy air filter on: May 22, 2014, 02:39:23 PM
Nice solution. Where can I buy these things?

+1

wish id had these when i was using my avalons - they had a ton of mosquitoes & dust in them after 6 months of mining
Haha poor mosquitoes...

Thanks for the tip BTW, I just leave my case open and due to the high amount of airflow I don't get much dust in, or is it just my room thats resonably clean? Tongue
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Tweaking 7970 settings on: May 20, 2014, 04:22:22 PM
My Asus 280X DCII does around 750 Kh/s with 8191 (yes a 1), I = 13, GPU engines = 2, worksize = 256.
Clock 1080 core, 1500 mem, that should do the trick!
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Broken GPU, should I buy back or Asic or Stay in Fiat on: May 20, 2014, 04:14:24 PM
I'd say keep it in GPU, ASIC is too much risk for far to little rewards!

Buy 1 or 2 280X and you'd be mining at 1.5 Mh/s scrypt! For a few 100$, and you can resell them, with ASIC's thats a much harder job...
674  Economy / Services / Re: ▶▶ Luckyb.it = SELL YOUR SIGNATURE = up to 0.1 BTC A MONTH = Enrollment closed on: May 20, 2014, 04:02:26 PM
Whoops, will fix that right now. Thank you for checking Wink
EDIT: Updated Wink
Very nice we now have such list, previously it was just guessing what was good and what wasen't Tongue
I'm sure I wont be the top poster but will try everything I can whilst keeping multiple words posts!
675  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S1 Water Cooling on: May 20, 2014, 03:59:33 PM
This is interesting, I might need to order this to keep things cool in my house!

Only way you are going to do that is to put the radiator outside the house.

Water cooling doesn't remove the need to convert the energy into heat and then expel the heat into the ambient air.

Water cooling doesn't make your room cooler on its own.
Indeed, becouse water can take huge amounts of heat in itself doesn't mean it goes away, you only relocate the hot air, placing a rad outside is the only option to keep more heat out of the house.
676  Economy / Collectibles / Re: A new 2-sided Bitcoin Keychain on: May 20, 2014, 08:10:15 AM

677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie needs help on: May 19, 2014, 05:18:17 PM
Well, you should start to post so you get more activity points, which are something like 14 points per 14 days?Huh You can then start to do signature advertsements, you can find it under Marketplace > services.

Hope that helps you a bit, don't get all mad up there in your mind about bitcoin, as nothing comes with ease here!
678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting paid for signature space? on: May 19, 2014, 04:24:41 PM
If you are a Hero member, then you can get as much as BTC0.0014 per post. That is equivalent to $0.63 per post. This rate is much higher than what you'll get for normal forum posting jobs ($0.15 to $0.20).
Those signature campaign mostly need constructive post. It can be hard to get constructive posts. Still, a good way for forum user to earn some small amount of bitcoins through posting in the forum.
Well, as i'm doing this stuff for a bit now, I can tell that you are getting pay'd significantly better when you are a Sr. Member/Hero, and another tip: Try someone else every month, becouse another person may have better terms in the period you've been at the other dude, this is not always the case, if not just stay at your current guy.

Also, only promote stuff you feel like is trustworthy, like some did Inputs.IO and when it went bad they got a bad name for representing that company, so be carefull if you want to have some sort of value Cheesy
679  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Slow hashrate only 0.09 on: May 18, 2014, 08:58:23 PM
Hello! First you need to know that im completely new in this... i am trying to use bitminer 1.6.0 and my hashrate is 0.09 and around 100 Mhps ( i have MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr Gaming OC).. i know that nvidia GPU are not good for mining but i dont think that they are that bad... o.O...
so i wanted to ask you for help.. i dont know if it is normal or i fu*ked something up... thanks for your time

first off   gpuming no longer works as a profit for mining btc.     the best gpu will do about .8gh and spend 300 watts.  If you want to learn to mine do not spend 300 watts 24/7/365 to learn about mining.  buy  your self a nano fury usb stick  it will do about 2-2.4gh and spend 4 watts

you are spending a ton of energy to teach yourself mining.

you do not need to do that.    also bitminter has a thread  that answer lots of questions on mining.

I advise a nano fury or an ice fury as they are lowe cost and do not need drivers.   you can use bfgminer to mine on bitminter.   it is easy to do. there are a few threads on ice fury sticks and nano  fury sticks.

most likely you will not profit with a nano fury stick even if you spend 20 dollars to get one.  it may never earn the 20 back.   but at least you will not spend a lot of power or money learning the game.

Back in the day people said I was nuts mining with a 8600GT and a Athlon 64 x2 4200+ but it stil fetched a few coins a day. Now this is a tad differend, but if people only want to try out they can still do, they domt need no profits or any of that good stuff, they want to learn.

And watch now, few years later and I now almost everything about it Cheesy
680  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: payment in solomining on: May 18, 2014, 08:54:29 PM
In a pool you split the work between people, so you are getting payed in ratio to your hashrate of the pool, this also means you get blocks faster.

Solo takes a heck of lot longer but does pay you out a full block, I'd go with pools everytime, or you had to have a redicilous hashrate Smiley
