This only means he registered this account just for this coin... they have a main account and used that to ask that this one be let out of newbie status.

He asked me a few questions and then said he is passing it up now...

You can get them right now for 25% of the above listed sale prices. Pennies on Crypsy, at 0.00000001 XPM equates to about 31,000,000 per $1.

Is it just me blowing past it or is there a lack of details for the RPC port of this coin at launch?
I just decided to use 46662 in my conf and am mining but... what are the ACTUAL ports?

It is awesome of the two pool Ops running the only two legit pools outside P2Pool to be sharing the above info... spot on.
If you are not going to use P2Pool to keep from having to deal with an actual pool, these two Ops are proactively proving they care. Use them or P2Pool.

i remove all nodes, but crashing anyway.
Apologies... to clarify, that would have been a part of the instruction AFTER you deleted everything but you wallet and conf file. This way you start a fresh peers.dat file that will ask cryptsy's node for connections before looking elsewhere.

What do you plan on doing with the arena?
I think the Devs are working on "War rooms" where people can publicly or privet plan on directing the network hash rate to mine a certain coin. This can be used to help out low hashing coins, new coins, or to do a 51% attack on scam coins. Im not a Dev this is just the jist i got from the OP. That is close to what I got from it... I took away that the hashrate of the collective can be purchased to point to another coin, and the purchase rate goes to the miners for that period of time... highest bidder wins rounds of hashing time and the miners can make more profit than mining the current coin. Something like that...

I am not 100% sure this is the case but, there seemed to be a ton of failed connections listed in that log...
And then the amount of peers listed at the end seems like it is extreme and too high to be legit for total people on the newest version.
IDK if that matters or not but, given we know this client already has issues when it has too many of an object (inputs, transactions etc.) I would suggest the following...
Change you conf file to remove ALL ADDNODES except one... ONLY HAVE THIS ADDNODE LISTED... addnode=node.cryptsy.com
I have had zero issues on Win 7 32/64 Pro and Win 8.1 as well as my Win 7 64 Enterprise Edition PC. Unfortunately, I no longer own anything with XP as it is no longer acceptable to be running on such an old and now unsupported OS.
