661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 15, 2017, 11:59:08 AM
What will happened if every country started to use bitcoin. Is the current supply of bitcoin and blockchain capacity can handle every bitcoin user?

Thanks in advance.
Managing all bitcoin users is possible but the problem comes when people want to deliberately spam the network to slow it down and cause backlogs or force everyone to pay high transaction fees to benefit miners but every country getting on board might need the blocksize increased to speed up things.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Donald Trump Tank Bitcoin with a simple tweet? on: April 14, 2017, 11:52:33 PM
Why Not?? The man holds the most powerful office in the world and I think he has a huge following to get the world excited and probably have his tweet talked about  all over social media platforms and news channels....if he were to declare his support for btc we could see prices surge tremendously.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING & TRADING on: April 14, 2017, 07:41:55 PM
In as much as people look up to trading as an easy profit hobby, its not as easy as people say it is,it requires some  Patience and a lot of reading to get right. IMO gambling is much easier to play and equally risky.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Bitcoin users. on: April 14, 2017, 07:07:27 PM
I assume that there aren't many people around the world that have bitcoins.
Does not owning a single satoshi disqualify one from been regarded a bitcoin user in this scenario

Quote
There are probably even fewer that actually use them. I'm sure lots of people are just getting bitcoins and holding them.

Most likely we have few active bitcoin users
Its probably even difficult to get the right estimate of the number of users generally using the crypto through the  forums registered members because of farmed a/cs and the alike, others use it totally anonymous to avoid unnecessary attention.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 14, 2017, 04:48:12 PM
One game today only

Athletic de Bilbao - Las Palmas, bet is over 1.5 goals

statistics show that this fixture has produced atleast a goal and a draw been the most likely outcome

i fancy both teams to score in this much
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If YOU were Satoshi, what would you do now? on: April 14, 2017, 02:31:35 PM
Satoshi would be dead the next second he made himself public. Do you really think it's a good idea to not be anonymous when your creation disturbs the status quo? you must remain anonymous. You are also a moving target worth billions, you don't want any fame in satoshi's position.
Agree, as smart as the man is, i do not think he would take that chance of going public of revealing his identity just to prove something and put his life in danger....
and honestly what would tempt him to break the silence? His certainly happy wherever he is  Smiley
667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 14, 2017, 06:00:51 AM
I've only placed money into Bitcoin that I can afford to do without. There are still a lot of unknowns with regard to the future success of Bitcoin. It will be a high risk investment for a while longer.
It is a high risk involved investment than other investments that's available. At the same it gives a better profit than the common schemes due to the successful growth happening depending upon the mass adoption and the way it'smoved forward in relation to the technology updation.
All investments are also have risky, Yeah I agree with you that invest
into Bitcoin is very high risky. But don't forget, Investing in Bitcoin also can make
us get high profit without doing anything. Buy at a cheap price then hold for next year.
the long term hold is no longer as profitable as it was a few years back
if you looking for profit maybe short term investments can reward one handsomely if done correctly and will be less risky as compared to long term holding which has many unforeseen circumstances.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Crimes, and Terrorism on: April 14, 2017, 05:36:27 AM
Bitcoin, Crimes and Terrorism is not a new one for us because those are existing even the bitcoin is not yet released, And we can't say that the growth of crime and terrorism just grow faster because of the bitcoin because i didn't agree with that because even the fiat money are being used to support those kind of illegal activities. We can't blame anything for those kinds of activities because they will find ways (criminals, terrorists) just to execute fund for them.

if you think of it, bitcoin is not the perfect companion of funding criminals or terrorists because it requires them to be online one way or another when using the internet
which could giveaway their locations. imo fiat remains the number 1 preference to use for such activities and bitcoin can not be held responsible for illegal activities that have existed before it .

670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gaming sites safe to use? on: April 13, 2017, 08:43:44 PM
I am always sure that rollin.io, primedice, just-dice, nitrogensports are trustworthy.
OP is searching for sportsbook not a dice site.  Grin Nitrogensports is the only sportsbook in your list.  Wink

Directbet and Nitrogensports are the one which doesn't have any KYC policy and i like to bet with them.

with all these sudden  breach of terms and conditions these sportbook gambling sites have started  to enforce to avoid paying their patrons is totally absurd

its best to stick to sites like Directbet and Nitrogensports that have been in the business for a long time with no drama from them.
671  Local / India / Re: Don't panic, we can't ban VISA? MasterCard?? on: April 13, 2017, 08:12:45 PM
It doesnt matter whether goverment allow it or not, before current exchange in india were not there people were still utilizing bitcoin unless someone is fully dependent of bitcoin/altcoin to pay for his basic needs.
But still it can not be banned as many big multinational company are thinking of utilizing blockchain potential.
Even axis bank was thinking of it.
Aren't banning bitcoin and using blockchain are two different things? Few months back government banned porn sites but it doesn't entail banning the internet.
Government can ban bitcoin but still allow blockchain.
definitely two different things and if they want to successfully ban bitcoin maybe they should ban the internet  Tongue

and imposing a ban will just give bitcoin a marketing platform to grow even bigger as more people will grow an interest to want to know what bitcoin is all about.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give 1 attribute that current cryptocurrencies lack until now? on: April 13, 2017, 07:51:36 PM
there are a lot of things missing. most important of all which people always forget is real usage!

we are calling them cryptocurrency but none of them (apart from bitcoin, monero and litecoin) have any attribute of a real currency.
when the developers stop thinking about how they can make more money with pump and dump and ICO or premine, then you can see real currencies that can even challenge bitcoin in the future.
well said, most altcoins ultimate survival depends on how active the developers are with their projects and most users only think of dumping their altcoin bounties for btc
which is not suppose to be the case, independence is one of the main attributes most alts lack to be self sufficient to grow...

Cryptocurrencies also lack support from major merchants to help them grow and be used on daily basis like fiat would be used.
673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping like a stone on: April 13, 2017, 05:15:21 PM
There is no sign on the horizon of droping the Bitcoin price, it's looking good. The smaller dump that has appeared recently hasn't done any bigger damage and the price has recovered soon. So it's still good decision to keep holding your coins and expect even better price in the near future.
for those who really understand and believes that bitcoin will be a good investment to hold surely they will ignore the price drop since that they are looking for a long term journey, as you mention those lite shake up already been absorb by those believers and the price already on its way to really recover back and to keep rising up.
i was once among those skeptical people who would panic when ever the bitcoin price dropped and thought the long awaited crash is here,
but now i have seen and understood the price mechanism of bitcoin which is mostly affected by demand and supply and never worry about drops as i know it will recover in no time.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 13, 2017, 09:37:22 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
As what you have said corruption is everywhere there are many people could corrupt bitcoins because bitcoin is like a real money, so there are some people who are addicted or has a greed to money that may lead to corruption.
But other than that, Bitcoin is quite popular among criminals because of its properties so it's no surprise that some people end up being corrupt only after they find out about Bitcoin.

With all the tools available like the mixing services and the alike its easy to see why criminals will opt for bitcoin

but truth of the matter is Bitcoin can only aid not lead to corruption because it does leave a money trail and is not as anonymous as we thought it was ,which can leave proof of corruption on the blockchain and get you busted for it.
675  Economy / Services / Re: EASY JOB - 0.0005 BTC IN 2 MINUTES on: April 13, 2017, 02:29:28 AM
Just GOT PAID  Smiley Smiley Smiley Easiest 50000 satoshi ever made !!!! THANK YOU SIR, YOU ARE AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!
numbers do not even add up that  task was done....08:46:56 PM op posts and at 08:54:01 PM you confirm receiving payment

of which 2 minutes is required to watch vids and some lost time while you try to complete task, and the time op requires  to confirm that task was actually completed and some

delay in releasing payment....this looks like shilling, nothing more nothing less Sad
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: "The price of your bitcoin is 1000 times overvalued" on: April 13, 2017, 01:32:54 AM
you mean to say bitcoin was suppose to be valued about a dollar right about now Shocked

imo bitcoin has seen its worst days and put into consideration how long its taken to get at its current price...its valued right and we are responsible for its value!
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 13, 2017, 12:52:53 AM
Atletico had absolute control of the game for 85 of the 90 minutes. Once ahead, they didn't take any risks and just hit the Leicester two banks of five.

1-0 is a perfectly good result for them and I am sure will see them through.
1-0 is not a perfectly good result as we have seen teams bounce back from a 4 goal deficient in the Champions League

but of course Atletico will travel to England with an advantage which might be the only goal to take them to the next stage and all what will be needed is an away goal and stop the foxes from scoring any goal
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: April 12, 2017, 11:58:39 PM
Of course it can, if a country does not have any well laid out monetary polices to guide it...it can be deprived of revenue which would have channelled the collected monies to build the country.

Bitcoin also brings about financial freedom which could be problematic as it makes vices like money laundering easy
679  Local / India / Re: India's Government to Consider New Digital Currency Rules on: April 12, 2017, 08:03:42 PM
This money laundering fight is definetly in line with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) principle's
which is a welcome move as it could  inspire other countries in the world to come up witth some policies curb out money laundering and any terrorist funding.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Segwit for LTC really necessary? Why? on: April 12, 2017, 05:47:16 PM
It's probably better if Segwit is activated. The amount of people using Litecoin is going down all the time. Will soon remain as another dumped altcoin. Sad

I think the last price movement just shows that Litecoin truely need SegWit just to get back to limelight. I hope it can sustain the recent gains

thats probably the only reason litecoin activated segwit with all the speculations of bitcoin soon to have it implemented
am pretty sure they were/are trying to win some support through it  indirectly and see the alt grow once again.

Necessary: its not a viable route for ltc which as it has a limited activity atm
