I've read this also in a social media that a segwit2x may happen in November. Most probably another split will happen if that's the case but a lot are opposing or are hoping it won't happen. A conservative bet for bitcoin is to double each year until it gets close to mass market, mass market will likely be 6 figures. That means $10k 2018, $20k 2019, $40k 2020, $80k 2021, >$100k 2022. So yeah it is definitely possible to see $100k in 2021.
If as your said, in future every year Bitcoin will growth x2 old price in last year. And final it will stable in 2022, is right? But you should think again about the period growth from 2015 until to this year  . Hoping that bitcoin prices will actually get higher in the future, even reaching $100K prices. It can still be considered, but nobody really knows about it, because in my opinion, people just think that bitcoin will definitely have a high price in the future. I would have said that 2017 was nothing like 2013 a month ago before btc went up to a crazy $4.5k, but now it indeed is resembling 2013 conditions. People are over optimistic and buying blindly, and i see ads everywhere about making money in bitcoin. I'd expect a new year to be a new chapter for bitcoin, once again. This pump is probably not going to last into much of next year. potentially, it could go to the end of this year but if it continues any longer it'll be bursting at any time. The reason why it's not correcting yet is because of the fact that more and more people are still buying in, for some reason. This can't last forever, 10x returns in a year is crazy enough. I just can't see it go to 15x or 20x, even though it is technically possible. Something recently bitkoyn is very unstable. I'm certainly pleased that the price has reached 4000 dollars, but I want more growth. |

As my strategy for selling bitcoins, it would be practical and less risky if the price is high, I sell half of my hold bitcoin and invest 1:4 of it or trade and hold the remaining bitcoin. Then look at the current price, almost more than doubled it. I, too, once did not believe that the price of bitcoin could increase so much. But luckily I was wrong and now I have a good profit. I sold my coins at a time when the price was 4,100 dollars. Now I will again buy bitcoin when the price goes down Lol. Good for you you had the foresight of selling at that price.
