The District Weekly - February 10th, 2018The first week of February has seen some exciting milestones achieved on the development side of the house. The Name Bazaar registration flow has been launched. d0xINFRA modules have been rounded out. We’re quickly crossing off every small checkbox needed with current projects to move all hands on to future ones. On that note, Meme Factory has had its Github repository created, and after stepping through the token curated registry smart contracts, we’ve begun the initial wireframing work needed for most of the front-end. Expect many more details and descriptions in the updates to come! https://blog.district0x.io/the-district-weekly-february-10th-2018-30ed6c5f81ba

fidentiaX’s 1st Seoul Meet-up https://medium.com/@fidentiaX/fidentiaxs-1st-seoul-meet-up-c1cde12b3640fidentiaX participated in its 1st ever meet-up in Seoul on 8th Feb 2018 at JBK Convention Hall organized by APIS. More than 100 crypto-enthusiasts from the Korean community joined APIS, fidentiaX and Belugapay to find out more about the 3 projects. Korea’s huge potential for tradable insurance coupled with the extensive awareness of cryptocurrencies makes it an important market for fidentiaX. Korea insurance market ranks top 3 in Asia with annual new business exceeding billions. It was fidentiaX first foray into the Korean Market and we will be looking forward to participating or even organizing more meet-ups in Korea with the objective of creating awareness for fidentiaX Marketplace.

Edgeless key insights from ICE 2018 (the largest gambling conference in Europe) https://medium.com/edgeless/edgeless-key-insights-from-ice-2018-the-largest-gambling-conference-in-europe-6f17f42bfd62Online casino gaming is having a ‘prime’ time. ICE 2018 was huge. With over 30,000 attendees from more than 150 countries, ICE Totally Gaming brought the international online and offline gaming sectors together. The entire venue was divided into 2 parts: offline gambling operators and online gambling operators. An interesting fact is that 5 years ago, there was almost nothing happening for online operators — and now it’s a total shift. The online gambling venue was overpacked with people and the offline gambling part felt a bit empty. If you talk with most of the industry oldies, they would confirm an online gambling phenomena and how fast it took an industry. Start-ups which started 3 or 4 years ago now have the largest stands in the conference. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn-images-1.medium.com%2Fmax%2F800%2F1%2AIvwVllPTZXOTgVkww-qYoA.jpeg&t=663&c=pcpulgd9yL2yeQ)

Why Augmented Reality Is The Next Frontier In B2C Sales Before smartphones it was computers. Before computers it was TV. And before TV it was radio. And now, what’s the next step in the evolution of human communication? Augmented Reality isn’t just for Pokemon Go or silly Snapchat masks. Although those two immensely popular things definitely highlight the potential of this vastly underutilized medium, AR is so much more than child’s play. Target, the retail giant, has a new app coming out called, “See it in your space.” Despite its unwieldy name, the app allows users to see what a given piece of furniture would look like in their living room. https://medium.com/@LUCYDLTD/why-augmented-reality-is-the-next-frontier-in-b2c-sales-7d20a6a4d8dc
