I'm back online. Issue with Gameristo has been solved. My hiatus is not due to another hack: security of this account is very thight after the last (and only) episode.
I have to stop my exchanging service for the time being due to some unfortunate legal issues arised because of some of my customers (I'm not involved but getting things sorted with law enforcers takes plenty of time, expecially in Italy).
Can you please elaborate a bit more on this ? It's always good to know who to stay away from while exchanging bitcoin. They weren't users of this forum. A bunch of customers of mine involved in illicit activities, pretending to be legit businessmen with me, of course, who sold me bitcoins over a period. I'm getting things cleared up with Cryptopia.
At this point in time, it looks like we can get it resolved. It does look like there was a misunderstanding of what is happening. I am disappointed that they did not reach out to us before they marked the market as closing, but I have to remember that as an exchange they deal with LOTS of different coins. If you take a look at the 'news' tab you'll see that they are delisting a bucket of coins and I think that we got caught up in the fervor.
I'll keep everyone informed.

Cryptopia says they are closing SXC markets  They said there is a Fork - what's going on? I guess it IS technically a fork but its nothing major. This happened when the network fully switched over to v4 blocks (age verification blocks). Some miners stayed on the old client and kept going along on their merry little way. But since all the exchanges are on version 10 wallet everything would of continued on fine but cryptopia panicked a bit with all the shit thats been happening with various coins lately. We have been in touch with them but since its over the weekend it will take a few days to resolve tldr version: Everything is working as it should. Upgrade your wallet to newest version if you havent. Cryptopia will be sorted out as soon as possible Not sure I should keep handing SXC out if they just evaporate because Cryptopia decide to close the SXC market. I also can't withdraw them, so they're stuck there which is a pity given yobit also didn't seem to head the advice to upgrade their wallet. |

Good news indeed. I just checked my wallet and saw all bar one are User Agent SexCoin0.10.4 while the sole exception is SexCoinCore. Is that some ones own branch? A couple of days ago the ratio of 0.10.4.0 to 6.4.6 was about sixty / forty in favor of the new wallet with a sharp spike in numbers of both. I'd say people were in the process of upgrading, or, shifting onto newer wallets. Definitely time to celebrate.    |

I'll keep an eye out for any such beasties... Given that BitCoin XT is a direct clone of the Core wallet you can push a transaction yourself. (See my first post) OTOH, BitCoinCash is a scale-able block concept, I'm guessing most punters will dial their "Pay only the minimum transaction fee" down to the bare minimum of 0.00001000 BCC/BCH per Kbyte as that BitCoin clone will probably sweep up all transactions and just grow the block size, so there won't be any real need to pay a little bit extra to get into the next block as the block will just keep growing to accommodate all transactions... QED. Unless I'm mistaken? |

The first one was from the original dev of the coin, the 2nd one iirc it got locked for nsfw pics on it? this one was created but that got unlocked but we just stuck with this one. I may be wrong on that second one tho (btw your links are both the same thread) I unlocked the thread to update the information on the title page to include information about the Version 0.10.4.0 update on the first post and made a new last post with the corresponding information pointing to this thread. I then re-locked the thread. The other stuff about why it was originally locked is history. As you can see we've already had a respectable 52 pages of discussion here about every-one's favourite Alt coin specifically targeted to the adult industry.
