6601  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinbasePRO Question on: May 24, 2021, 05:32:26 AM
I am trying to set up a limit order to buy Litecoin, but the system is telling me "Insufficient funds" as if it's not linking to my bank account. I never have this issue on regular Coinbase.

I know the funds are there. How can I resolve this??
The funds are where? The bank? Or you have already purchased Litecoin and want to trade?

Know that limit order does not work that way, you will need to have already purchased a coin already before you can make use of limit order to convert from one coin to another. In the case you want to purchase litecoin, not limit order that will be used, use deposit button, but if you want to convert litecoin to another coin on Coinbase Pro, then you can use the limit order for the trade.

6604  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Can di guarantee complete anonymity of a hardware crypto wallet? on: May 23, 2021, 05:55:44 PM
I only see this as a means to advertise your wallet (entheca), I check online about the wallet review, I noticed almost nothing reviewed about the wallet, this means people are not using it, and it will be very difficult to ask people question about what they know nothing about, it is better to go for highly known and reputed hardware wallet. You also do not even describe anything about the wallet, although I will prefer to go for reputed ones and yours (entheca) has no review yet.

Know that hardware wallet is very safe to use, it is one of the safest wallet, but that does not mean it is 100% safe for people that do not concern about online security and privacy, because there are still malware that can change the recipient address to hackers address when about to send Bitcoin or other crypto on any wallet, but it is we that needs to give our wallet 100% safety.

Hardware crypto wallets can guarantee you not only complete anonymity
It is better to use pseudonymity, and only for people that are conscious about it. There are online wallets that can provide pseudonymity, and there are online wallets like Wasabi that CoinJoin for privacy reasons. Using hardware wallet for pseudonymity is possible, but also possible on online wallets. I think you can just only comment about how safe hardware wallets are and how they store private key offline rather than pseudonymity.

The most reliable and proven cold crypto wallet is Entheca
How is it reliable when people are not using it, please provide good reason why it is even reliable at all. To me, as I did not find much about it online, I do not think this wallet is reliable.
6605  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Blood Pressure, I don´t understand it. But I want to. on: May 23, 2021, 04:26:37 PM
Thanks for replying, so the idea is that your build up plaque that obstructs the flow of blood and pressure increases? Then that plaque breaks and moves into other places causing more trouble?
Yes, exactly. The artersclerotic plague formation itself narrows the blood vessels which triggers blood clot formation (thrombolus), the blood clots travels to smaller arteries, this obstruct the blood flow. This result to high blood pressure that result to hypertension. But this is just during pathological conditions as I explained above.

So, the high blood pressure (hypertension) is not a disease, but indicating a disease that can result to organ damage is present in the body. This can be treated in time if known earlier through medical checkup.

But if not treated, the ischemia (lack of blood blood flow that resulted to lack of oxygen to an organ) causes the cells of the organ to be degenerating leading to necrosis (abnormal cell death) which later cause the death of the whole organ.

I have mentioned some examples above, if the brain is affected and no blood flow to the brain, it will lead to stroke. Before it leads to stroke, the blood pressure would have abnormally increased, leading to hypertension, but people will not even know they have hypertension, the reason we need to check our blood pressure often.

Another example is the cardiac arrest as a result of lack of blood flow to the heart.

Another one is angina.

And another is kidney failure.

If you are interested knowing about angina,  you can read about it.

6608  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Problems with a transaction on: May 22, 2021, 07:53:05 PM
I would have told you to use ViaBTC to accelerate it, but it can not be used because minimum fee of 10 sat/byte is needed for a transaction to be freely accelerated, but the fee you used is 6 sat/vbyte. Most probably, mempool will be less congested by tomorrow (Sunday), very possible your transaction will be confirmed by tomorrow, but this is just a probability.
6609  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BTC Needs A Privacy Layer on: May 22, 2021, 04:46:48 PM
You cannot achieve absolutely privacy with coin control.
Is there just one way to achieve absolute privacy, I did not also mention absolute privacy, I only mention high level of privacy. Also I made mention of wasabi wallet that CoinJoins and also Mixers to achieve high level of privacy while in addition using coin control which can still help while maintaining privacy.
6610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which transfer fee to pick? on: May 22, 2021, 04:19:40 PM
The mempool is congested for now but that does not mean you can not make 20 sat/vbyte transaction, just make sure that the transaction support replace-by-fee so you will be able to pump it in case it does not confirm in time. If not confirmed in time, you can still decide to wait, your funds are safe, but pump it if you think it is getting too late and needed to be done. I will advice you not to waste Bitcoin on fee while pumping it, if 20 sat/vbyte do not confirm in time, you can decide to you 50 sat/vbyte, but if you are the owner of the sender and receiver wallet, you can just make use of 20 sat/vbyte and wait until the Bitcoin is confirmed if you are not in haste, the transaction can take long, but it will be later be confirmed.

Make e no shock you say only bitcoin move oh. E din happen before after a crash, alts go come in later sha
For the recent crash, bitcoin crash for $40000 to $30000, that na 1.33X crash o. Altcoins at the time don crash 2x or more if not say the price don they increase back. And to waiting you talk, you dey right, crash they affect Altcoins pass.

Make we continue give our opinion about how the money will be sent o. I agree with decentralization, as far as transparency dey.

Updated. Good morning all, final update will be at 12:00 AM GMT +1. That is 13 hours from now. Immediately I finally do the last update, I will send message to Smartvirus and Igehhh. They go both convert the coins with them to Naira.

To make this official, please you people should express your opinion about how the transfer go be. It can be in two ways which we already don talk about.

  • either the money in naira will be transferred to Charles-Tim, while Charles-Tim go transfer the money to Becky666 family.
  • or Smartvirus, Igehhh and Charles-Tim go individually transfer the fund to Becky666 family.

In my opinion, I will go with option two because we fit paste the transaction receipt for here as an evidence that we don transfer the money. While the three of us (smartvirus, Igehhh and Charles-Tim) go send to the same bank account number owned by Becky666 family member (most probably his widowed wife).
6613  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BTC Needs A Privacy Layer on: May 22, 2021, 08:28:06 AM
<...>
Privacy is not the same as anonymity, people should not get this confused, you can use Bitcoin and have your privacy. Wasabi wallet that CoinJoins and Mixers can help in achieving high level of privacy, but did you still know you can use electrum to achieve high level of privacy? Just make use of coin control, coin freeze, address freeze and many other features in a way you can have high level of privacy, and if you are not yet satisfied, you can make use of mixers. Bitcoin can be used in a way all my transactions can although be tracked on blockchain but can not be linked to me.
6614  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Blood Pressure, I don´t understand it. But I want to. on: May 21, 2021, 08:52:23 PM
Blood pressure can increase during normal physiological conditions, but it is also associated with pathological conditions.

Physiological conditions
In the morning before someone wakes up, blood pressure would have started to increase, it starts to drop again in the evening time, it drops little further at night and when sleeping. There is diastolic and systolic blood pressure, but I would not go much further into explaining the difference, but systolic blood pressure do increase to 150 to 220 mm Hg during exercise depending on the extent of the exercise, this is as a result of the heart working more to pump blood leading to increase in blood pressure, but after the exercise, the blood pressure drastically comes back to normal.

Pathological conditions
There are different pathological conditions that can lead to high blood pressure. In this case, increase in high blood pressure can lead to hypertension which can result to organ damage and other severe conditions that might even lead to death.

Obessed people's heart works harder, pumping more blood but yet the arteries will resist blood flow, leading to high blood pressure which can lead to hypertension.

What you should just know is that the pathological conditions that are leading to high blood pressure, can result to organ damage. Like the blood obstruction to the organ as a result of thrombolism (formation of blood clot) which leads to emolism (traveling of blood clots to smaller arteries) which leads to the blood obstruction to that organ, leading to organ necrosis and then leads to organ failure.

Example are:
1. Blood obstruction to the brain that later lead to stroke
2. Blood obstruction to the heart that lead to myocardial infarction (heart necrosis, damage of heart tissue) which later leads to ventricular fibrillation which will result to cardiac arrest and death.

It can happen to any organ in the body. The blood obstruction starts from the development of arteriosclerotic plague in the blood vessels which triggers blood to clot and sent to deeper vessels.

Artersclerotic plague is formed, it results to thrombolus, leading to  embolus, this will result to increase in blood pressure (hypertension). Thrombolus and embolus leads to lack or reduction of blood flow to organs, which can result to damage to the organs like brain, heart and kidney.

This is all I could remember for now, it's been long I read about this.

6616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are other cryptocurrencies not like Bitcoin? on: May 21, 2021, 05:45:22 PM
In the recent crash, I noticed when bitcoin dropped 0.25x 1.25x, most of the altcoins dropped 2x before they all increased back while Bitcoin also increased back to $40000. Some coins even at the time dropped almost 3x, and very possible some coins might drop more. Altcoins are more volatile, their rise (increase in price) can be high but they fall more during bear market.

Altcoins can not be like Bitcoin because Altcoins are not fully decentralized, unlike Bitcoin that is completely decentralized.
6617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens After Widespread Crackdowns and Bans? on: May 21, 2021, 05:34:46 PM
the concern of crypto being used for tax evasion and illegal activities
Is fiat not most used for tax evasion and illegal activities? It is.

the Bank of England governor recently said bitcoin has no value
It has no value? But turned people that have just little amount of money into millionaires and billionaires.

It's obvious that countries haven't considered bans in the past because they didn't consider bitcoin to be a threat
How is bitcoin a threat? Because fiat is more involved in illegal activities and more used by criminals.

Also even if it were not banned, governments can monitor all activity because basically everyone uses centralized exchanges and the blockchain is public
If people like, they can. But privacy can still be maintained. But most people are ignorant of privacy.

So what would the future trajectory of the world look like after that?
Bitcoin is a privacy coin and I will only make mention of it because it is the true decentralized currency. It is deflationary and not centrally controlled. The future is just bright as it is also deflationary with limited supply.
6618  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BTC Needs A Privacy Layer on: May 21, 2021, 04:37:10 PM
But it is missing this one crucial component that is an essential human right and even more necessary today than it was a decade ago, privacy.
It depends on how you an dealing with your bitcoin, if you learn about privacy and how to maintain privacy while using bitcoin, you will then realize that Bitcoin is not a privacy-depriving coin. You can have your privacy.

I'm curious if privacy can be done in a way such that it protects the identities of the transactions (both in terms of btc address and personal identity) while still preserving the open-ness and transparency of the current system?
The normal way Bitcoin transaction do works is that the transaction are not linked to individuals but can be tracked/traced on blockchain.  If you have your privacy, use Bitcoin in a way people will not link your Bitcoin transactions to your real identity, only the Bitcoin will be seen on blockchain but no one can be able to trace it to you. Is that not privacy enough.

But, nowadays, people like to make use of centralized exchanges, fill in their personal information, if there is a data breach on such exchanges, will the Bitcoin not be linked to the users? It would definitely be linked to the users. If use Bitcoin on decentralized platforms, and use noncustododial wallet, able to make use of your coin control and spend wisely, making use of mixers. If you know all these, you will know Bitcoin can be used in a privacy way.

About the links above, know that bitcoin can be bought directly (direct p2p), it can be bought on decentralized platforms like Bsiq and Hodlhold. It can be hard for someone to do this the first time, but it is what to be done for privacy reasons.
6619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New at NFT on: May 21, 2021, 02:06:54 PM
You will find this link helpful

Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

Requirements
To create NFT on ethereum blockchain, user will have an Ethereum wallet that supports ERC-721 (the Ethereum-based NFT token standard). The user needs to have around $50-$100 worth of ether. Also, user need to sign a message with an address that will be used as login, and that will be required before the completion of NFT creation.

You can use this link below to check the Bitcoin atms in Mexico, you can click on each and look for the emails or phone number of the companies managing it and ask your questions. Normally, Bitcoin atm fee is usually around 10% of the amount you are buying or selling, you can click on each ATM details to see the buying and selling fee.
