You can find many good opportunities to invest today but neither one will be so speculative as bitcoin and with such potential to give you great return. But only if you wait. Otherwise you can eat your nerves with day tradings.

True. Patience is a great deal when it comes to bitcoin trading. If you got none of it this wont be a great place to have some profit. I guess that is why many are leaving the community.
6602  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: March 15, 2016, 10:51:30 AM
I think bitcoin has no government and we are free to use it.. Only the fee as taxes we need to pay is the every transaction you made to some.. But not all wallet has a fee for every transaction you made.. like coinbase.. .No one can control bitcoin we are anonimous so we should need a freedom using bitcoin..

Yeah and those transaction fees are way too low than any other money transfer companies there. It is like 1-2 percent at those other companies unlike bitcoin. It is not that hurtful and no need for a lot of documents to show.
6603  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 15, 2016, 10:24:39 AM
Impossible to tell now because there are so many variables, How much exactly would be sufficient for you to retire "in USD"? How much BTC would worth in 20 years "which is impossible to tell lol" but probably around 1000 BTC.

Even if it is USD it is hard to tell also. We dont know if USD will also fall in the coming years. I guess it will the precious stones and metals who will be really valuable in the future.
come on. 20 years is not a long time. in 1996 ago $ 400k is very large. so was also present $ 400k is very large now. so you can see the picture from now, maybe what you need is more than $ 100k

In dollars or in different kind of money. We dont know what might happen. We dont know the future every country is fighting for their currency to go up and get stronger.
6604  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 15, 2016, 10:21:36 AM
Paper money is always good. And will be always many used even in the future. And that is very good. Many people must use it.
Some people are dont even know Bitcoin and how do you wanna disappear the paper money. It is impossible.

Very right for that Sir. It is really impossible. Bitcoin could be adopted and used also an investment. But as of some people that dont know about it and dont have knowledge to do this it will be hard for them.
6605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 15, 2016, 10:18:21 AM
Another reason is that in order to buy something with bitcoins, you have to buy coins first.
So why buy the coins when you can buy the product you want to have directly.

Everyone has the choice which route. if one can buy a product comfortable with fiat or card, s/he can go ahead and do it. for some people though, anonymity is an issue.
i don't wanna use paypal for same reason why most people here in bticointalk don't use paypal as well.
Many people stop when they lose a lot of money. And that is quite logic. But the reason is that they sold it to early or they bought it to high.
Its better to wait longer and wait if the price is going to rise. Than you can have later some profit.

I guess that is a no way to stop. Risk will always be there when trading it. That should be considered whenever you're doing that. Getting up and earning back what is lost is the solution for this.
6606  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 15, 2016, 09:36:09 AM
You will be dead now if you will still push your desire to buy at $100 rate.

Grin You mean we will be dead before that happen again. It is like an impossible price in this times to go back there. That is so low so many will get angry if the price go back there.
I agree with you I think it's likely to fall in the $ 100 price already closed.
bitcoin prices will continue to rise so if you're still waiting for that to happen you'll never see that all your life mate

Although that happened from the past.  I think it will never happen again for many people are supporting it and will not let it fall at that price. Their coins are at stake here also if that happens.
6607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 15, 2016, 09:34:51 AM
That is what I'm doing exactly at this time. Waiting for that sweet $1000 again Cheesy

I suggest that you use your bitcoin, try trading, to make your bitcoin into circulation again, and it would give you profit  and might also increase the coins in your hands, While waiting for your $1000 dollar goal on bitcoin price..

That's a good suggestion. Bitcoin won't touch to your desired price by the falling months. So as quoted by above mate, its better to do something with your earned bitcoin and increase your profit.

He's right, bette use your bitcoin into gambling, trading and invest something rather than waiting the price of bitcoin reach $1000 again. I think $1000 is to much, better wait until $500 is more worth and fast.

I agree at what Relq is saying. I am always itchy to move my coins so I do that always. Buy low sell high profit comes at fast paced but sometimes risky if one wrong move is done.
6608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 15, 2016, 09:32:20 AM
Sometimes it is good to do. And sometimes now. If the value is high you dont must make an investment. Because there will be a high chance that you can lose some money.
It is good to make an investment when the value is low. So you will have later for sure profit. Because the value will rise.

Yeah right. Although I got some problem understanding it. I think I still get it. Buy at low price that will start the investment then wait for that price increase and subtract from your the price you bought it. That is your profit there.
6609  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: March 15, 2016, 09:29:57 AM

For those who are preferring to stay anonymous,
bitcoin help them, even for their hidden feelings like watching porn contents.

There is no problems with anonymity on my signature bitcoin accepting
live webcam chat, if someone is paying with a credit cards.
And who use the Credit Card is protected against SCAMMERS and FAKE video chats.

That would be cool. So you are saying we should stick with you? I havent tried to click your link. Too scared I might get some bugs or other stuffs that might harm my computer.
6610  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: March 15, 2016, 09:27:52 AM
I first heard about bitcoin when i was looking for a extra income online then i stumble upon a ptc that pay via bitcoin so i tried.
Now ive stop ptc and now im trading at exchanges to profit bitcoin.

yeah those PTC's are kinda low on paying and some sites are scam like when you reach the amount where you can withdraw it then you cant log it in anymore. Kinda creepy. Good thing you stumbled in this place.
6611  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 15, 2016, 05:05:49 AM
Investing is a good option. You have to be smart where to invest though.
Sometimes, even holding your bitcoins is a good enough plan.

Holding it until price increase is the best plan. But for me I exchange it when it grows then read some predictions regarding bitcoin and see when it can go down again to buy back. That way I get some profit even if it is low.

6613  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: March 15, 2016, 05:02:02 AM
Its not that smart now to spend it I think. Or you must be in emergency or something. The value is not that high.
It is better if you wait longer if the value is higher, than you can spend it much more.

It will always depend on the situation. If it is needed then use it. It is yours, you are the one who controls it. Regrets will always be at the end. But for workers here who keeps it that is one hell of a patience you got there. Thumbs up!.
6614  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 15, 2016, 04:59:58 AM
Before make any action you must know how much you need to have atleast a normal life,if you can get an stable income montly ,then you should consider to left or no the real work, but you must know you need to save a part of the income otherwise if bitcoin die you wil be dead as well.

Or? you could use that income from bitcoin for a store business or for other investments. There are a lot out there that are presenting legit investment and to be safe you could follow some friends if they can present you some proof of legitimacy.
6615  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2016, 02:14:20 PM
I know I'll look stupid as everyone else probably knows but...

I tired to buy $100 worth of bitcoin via bitcoin-ex dot com - turned out to be a con and i never got my coins :-(

A 2 second google would have told me this, but there you go, you live and learn.

Oh, and seeing my fastcoin and feathercoin investments tank, but i still have them, so maybe some day....

All the best

Steve

Ouch!!! for different experiences we learn from it. I too got some story that made me think I am an idiot but I think I said it here so dont want to repeat it. We just get up again and try to earn back those lost bitcoin.

A lot of public cam showing have been popping around that are accepting bitcoin. I think they are getting more advertisements now for those who want to jack themselves with an awesome girl at live cam.
6618  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 14, 2016, 02:08:44 PM
How can we save if we don't have money? Huh

So find a source of income first then invest some. While at the same save some of it.

I think he want it to be a one option thing. That is not very good because there is no safety. So Heartilly's comment would be the best. Invest some and save some for future needs and just for safety.
6619  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: March 14, 2016, 02:07:16 PM
what i like about bitcoin are the fast and cheap transactions and the freedom of controlling all my btc without any third party

That is right. That is why many of us are staying here and using it as a sending money due to its low fee and what is more is controlling it whenever you want it. Easy to access now because some wallet sites have their apps for smartphones.
6620  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: March 10, 2016, 08:51:38 AM
Many here will not sold their coins at the moment, goodluck to the years that will passed and I don't think you can just sleep your coins there.

It's easy to say that you will not sold your coins. Show some proofs that you really save for now.

True. I guess some are really patient if they can do that. Me in my experience I cant stop myself to press that convert button specially when the price is too high for me.
