6621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitcoin arbitrage, pros and cons, experience and profitability on: March 24, 2014, 11:08:44 AM
Hey guys,

I have been involved in Bitcoin arbitrage for several months now and it has been quite profitable. For those of you unaware how this works, arbitrage is the process of taking advantage of BTC price difference between BTC exchanges. In other words, purchasing Bitcoins on the exchange with the lower price, and re-selling those same coins on another exchange and profiting through the difference.

I did some arbitrage on my own  last year when there was a huge spread between Mtgox and Bitstamp Bitcoin prices, in some cases between 5-10%. The main problem was how to move BTC and/or fiat between different exchanges and the fact that in order to reduce the arbitrage risk to a minimum one needs to be able to buy BTC on an exchange with low price while selling the same amount of BTC on another exchange with high price AT THE SAME TIME. Recently, the spread between exchanges is not so wide anymore but there are a lot more exchanges, so there is still a lot of money to be made on this.

Have you ever performed arbitrage on your own, were you successful, what was your biggest problem, please share your experience.
6622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interest in Bitcoin ATMs on: March 24, 2014, 07:19:48 AM
Sure there is a demand. We are currently in a "quiet" phase where there are not many positive news about BTC, mainly due to Mtgox disaster, but this is going to change in a few weeks after people forget about it. I also expect the price to go back to over $1k. As soon this happens, there will be a usual BTC fuzz, bunch of people wanting piece of BTC economy and searching how to buy BTC. Do not forget this is still very, very young economy and there is still a lot of place to get it. Look at the statistics, BTC often compare to gold right, due to its store of value function.  Current value of all gold used is about $7.5 trillion. If BTC could take only 5% of that in the future, every single BTC would be worth almost $50k. So yes, there is demand, there will be demand, this is just how the economy operates.
6623  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: March 24, 2014, 05:36:39 AM
Just to add, March 2014 cumulative results are almost +25% so far. You can check this on their results page.
6624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud hashing review on: March 23, 2014, 07:16:16 PM
Cloud mining is almost never profitable, regardless of the service you might select. If you compare the amount of BTC which you would spend to lease your miner and the amount of BTC which you would get from mining, you will ALWAYS lose money. Having this in mind, it is better buying BTC and holding or investing into something else.
6625  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BTC mining contract / cloud mining on: March 23, 2014, 01:16:35 PM
If you're only going to make money cloud hashing by gambling on the value of BTC rising, then you are absolutely always guaranteed to make a bigger profit just converting your money into BTC and bypassing the whole hashing part. Cloud hashing is a genius business model that only ever benefits the cloud, not the miner.

I agree fully with this post. It is simple mathematics, you bitcoin calculator, input your expected BTC earnings, include expected difficulty increase and you will see that in 0% cases you can reach ROI in BTC during the period of your mining contract, usually 12 months. Unless BTC goes up to $10k and in this case you are better off just buying BTC and holding. What I cannot understand is why so many people do not see this cause there are bunch of these cloud hashing services available which means there must be demand for them as well.
6626  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make up to 1% ROI per day on: March 23, 2014, 10:09:24 AM
Hey guys,

I have been using a nice Bitcoin arbitrage service recently and it has been quite profitable, I make around 1% ROI per day on average. I have deposited my BTC several times and made a successful withdrawal as well, so everything works great. For those of you unaware how this works, basically they take advantage of BTC price difference between BTC exchanges. In other words, they purchase Bitcoins on the exchange with the lower price, and re-sell those same coins on another exchange and profit through the difference. In addition to their trading pool (BTC arbitrage), they also offer mining pool, this is basically a cloud hashing option.
Minimum investment is $20, they have great and responsive support and they have been online for over 9 months.

Here are their results for the last couple of months:
(Edit: Added July result)

Since this is a quite new service, they are 9 months old, please be careful what you invest. I would suggest to go slow, invest $60 and then increase it as you start receiving your profits. Still, be careful what you invest, I cannot be held responsible for your investment decisions.

This has caught my attention. Was wondering what people think or if they had any positive/negative experiences. CEX.IO does look interesting but it all smells fishy to me. Why would anybody sell another person hashing power profits when they could profit themselves? It doesn't make sense.

You have answered your own question. The only way you can make money with cloud hashing is if the price of BTC would go significantly up after you purchase a cloud hashing contract. In most of cases reaching ROI is very unlikely. There are better ways to earn BTC online.
6628  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Cloud Hashing on: March 23, 2014, 09:48:51 AM
Unless the price of BTC goes up significantly after you purchase a contract, you are gonna end up losing money. Reaching ROI with cloud hashing is very unlikely unless the price goes up.

After third support ticket they updated my deposit. Reply was from Adam, I bet "We currently have 10 employees" is a BS.

Good, I was not feeling comfortable when you mentioned your deposit was not credit. Glad this is resolved.
6630  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: Registration issues + deposits on: March 22, 2014, 05:21:39 PM
received my withdrawal!

How long did it take?

Yea i transfered 0,08BTC to them, lets see if they arrive. I got this message, that i have to wait 1-8 hours till the coins become credited. Lets see if they are legit oO

BTC x 1,01^365 sounds too good to be true

It took about 8 hours to receive my withdrawal in my case. I test them every week requesting small amounts just to be sure everything is fine.
6631  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining / contracts - share your experience on: March 22, 2014, 04:30:55 PM
I have still been unable to find a cloud hashing service which can provide full ROI unless BTC goes up to $2k. Just show me this calculation.
This is why I think BTC arbitrage is the only profitable option ATM apart from buying ASIC.
6632  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining / contracts - share your experience on: March 22, 2014, 04:37:40 AM
I use Bitcoin trader, not only you can get a cloud mining contract from them, they also provide Bitcoin arbitrage services which have been quite profitable recently, about 1% per day ROI.
In case anyone is interested, take a look at these two links in my signature.

Thanks for the tip. Added Bitcoin Trader to the list!

No problem. There is another great option provided by Bitcoin Trader. Once you rent cloud hashing from them, they upgrade you every months or so for FREE. When I got my first "mining share" as they it, I paid $100 for 6 ghs for 1 year of mining, then they upgraded it 8 ghs and on April 1st I will be getting 10 ghs. Basically they try to keep you profitable as possible. Really great service so far.
6633  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is a GH/s worth? on: March 21, 2014, 09:38:02 PM
Clound hashing is rarely profitable and ROI is usually quite long. Earning anything serious with this fast difficulty increase is quite hard unless you have your own ASIC.

If you consider investing your money, try Bitcoin arbitrage instead, you can find more details in my signature.

Pozdrav svim rudarima i BTC obožavateljima.

Daj vise informacija o tom

http://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/btc-arbs.com

poznati vlasnik imenom i prezimenom

Takođe nude i cloud mining opciju.

Not really, bunch of sites are anonymous for tons of reasons, especially when dealing with a lot of cash. It is new, that also means nothing.
If they don't close down withing a month or two, it should be OK.
