So how do you evaluate the positive morality of members? Posting behaviour isn't really relevant, although post content can be an indication of low moral fibre.

How about their activities on the forum especially their policing activities, have you considered that aspect?. Having spent majority of my time for the past few weeks on the scam accusation board, i recently updated my trust list and those would made the list were mostly those showing some policing contributions to the forum.

For my criteria, I combined, post quality, merit earned plus policing contributions. Dropped few old forum members, (no offense) then added new members who have proven themselves worthy, those I feel have hunger to search for scam like project to expose. Was kind of self-centered with my selections though since I'm an altcoin enthusiast and i need protection to some extent via the scam relate projects. Speaking of plagiarized whitepaper, fake teams etc. I don't have the right tools to spot this red flags so it's fair to have the guys who do on my CTL to alert me when I encounter such projects.
6622  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Cbuy) cbuyonline.com - Plagiarism whitepaper on: August 21, 2019, 01:17:58 PM
Good find OP, some observation though. The account flaged and tagged isn't the direct representative of the project. The user is just an ANN thread creator from his post history as i have observe the account associating itself with other projects through creating ANN threads.

Would be perfect if this feedbacks could be left on direct account of the project. As for the accused, untill you have disassociated yourself from this project, my support for the flag stand.

This is not only the first test for plagiarism of another of his projects. Don't you think this is no coincidence?
No coincidence there, just another account putting the deserve to earn money over humanity. Since the user is a multiple offender, don't think he'll change his ways therefore, the account deserves to be punished to warn others when dealing with the account. Flag supported, negative feedback left.
6623  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] realbitconnect - the "realest" of Bitconnects on: August 21, 2019, 12:51:11 PM
The name sounds funny, and actually expose them literally as the "real scam". The idea of trying to win previous investors from Bitconnect into investing and promotion their scam projects is also a red flag. If they claim bitconnect developers stole their idea they won't have had any reason to associate themselves with bitconnect but by helping their investors, they're doing just that (associating themselves to bitconnect). Which leads me to have my suspicious concerning the project been operated by the same scammers from Bitconnect.

Either my suspicious above is correct or they're just using that idea to sell the project. The signs of scam, are all over the project starting from their name etc. Supported flag and left negative feedback.
6624  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ponzi scheme scam - Bitcoin Doubler 200% after 24hrs on: August 21, 2019, 10:46:37 AM
I support the flag. The link when creating the flag is better to put on your investigation

My bad, that was a mistake but since flags can't be edited or deleted the mistake can't be corrected and there isn't any need creating a new flag since this issue isn't a debated one. It's obviously a clear case of ponzi scheme scam. Already had that link (announcement thread) copied on my clipboard so when creating the flag and tried coming a new link (that of my OP), guess it wasn't successful that's why the announcement thread link applied on flag. My bad.

6626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Alert] About Facebook Libra Coins! on: August 21, 2019, 06:25:57 AM
But if it's about getting rich quick (or even quicker), they just don't think about the risks and they just act without thinking before...
Exactly that, the best part is about people willing to make a quick buck with Libra.  Cheesy

They don't even bother to read the basics about their investment which sort of coin they are buying. Libra is a stablecoin, the value will be pegged to (a basket of different) fiat money and will offer no opportunity to make a quick buck like they would like to.

Here's where the problem is coming from. The hype around Libra is what's misleading, it been a stablecoin is hardly been emphasize on. That's why they intentionally refused to make it clear at the very beginning of the rumors of Facebook developing a cryptocurrency. The rumors spreading around the community is that, Libra will replace bitcoin or overthrow altcoin etc but these rumors don't specify what aspect the overthrowing might occur which is in market capitalization and adoption and not price gain like most individuals are presuming.

The price gain is what comes into any individua mind (mostly newbie that hasn't done their research properly) when they hear the rumors of Libra conquering the cryptocurrency industry and In my opinion, this is a planned out marketing strategy just to decieve the masses. I do believe Libra will come into existence, the regulator are just delaying the process to discourage other companies from buying into the idea of developing their own cryptocoins. These guys (Facebook & regulators) work hand in hand and once facebook can come to an agreement with them, they would definitely grant Libra the go ahead.

Great job OP for alerting the community of these scams.
6627  Other / Meta / Re: Opinions on who to add to my trust list. on: August 20, 2019, 10:28:37 PM
Why don't you mention the names of the people you entrust to add them to your trust.

No need, with the next update via LoyceV trust list, you can easily identify who he added or removed from his custom trust list.
OP just want to point out that, this is a virtual world, an individual could be trustworthy in the real world but isn't on the forum, vice versa. Nevertheless no one has the right to tell you who to or who not to add to your trust list, the choice is yours to make. Choose wisely though as you're not only indicating their feedback as trustworthy but also giving them your vote for DT.
6628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2019, 11:38:10 AM
I had prediction United to win 2:1. I backed them because I thought that Wolves might focus on upcoming Europa league qualifier against Torino on Thursday.

This was the safest prediction, followed by a draw. Most individuals (including myself) thought united could pull it off after their impressive display against Chelsea. Something tells me Wolves will be able to replicate last season display against top 6 teams. After that miss from Pogba, I asked myself why didn't Rashford take the penalty, thought I saw him moving towards the ball but guess since Pogba was responsible for the fowl, he insisted on taking it. We can't blame him though even the bests misses penalty. Wolve did deserve something from match and I'm glad they got it although it cost me.
6629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust the process on: August 20, 2019, 08:41:56 AM
This isn't about trusting the process, it's just the luck factor playing its part and beside when you take high risk and it becomes a right choice, it results to high return. The cryptocurrency market is just unpredictable as hype still plays a major role in the success of a project (short term profit though), as such hype doesn't sustain the project for future gains that's why 99% of altcoins meaning 99% of bounties don't make it past 1-3 years in the industry. They either lose value or become exit scam projects.

It's recommended to carry-out research before trading any cryptocurrency or joining any bounty. Sure the research might not guarantee success but it'll help prevent much loss then when you just join any bounty or buy any coin to trade with just hopes of it being a success story. Hype only last for a short period of time be aware of that when you join any project be it via bounty or trading.

6631  Economy / Reputation / Request for flag support or negative feedback - Bounty & Bounty Manager Scams. on: August 20, 2019, 07:18:15 AM
Recently, I have been seeing some decent amount of Bounty/Bounty Manager related scam accusation and most time this thread don't get enough support as other visible cases. This thread purpose will serve as a one stop for all bounties related scam flags and in some cases bounty manager flags or negative feedback for their unprofessionalism. Not all cases deserve a flag especially when funds aren't involved so feel free to request for a visible negative feedback don't take matters into your hands like this user suggested; it's time bounty hunters should start taking actions.

As for the DT members interested in keeping this forum bounty scam free, you can keep a tab on this thread to always support cases that the scam accusation are obvious and maybe do a little investigate when the need arises.

6632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I already have a Bank attached with paypal account? Why should we use Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2019, 05:15:47 PM
In addition to the useful information above, using bitcoin will give you self satisfaction and an opportunity to try something new and totally different from the usual banking system we're all familiar with. It open door to more opportunities as you subconsciously get attracted to blockchain related business, and research more on how to benefits from the technology. The more you use bitcoin, the more you understand what freedom over your finance is all about and the more you love the technology.

It's also less time consuming and secure since every transaction is verifiable on the blockchain meaning, you aren't obligated to trust any escrow (like the bankers, card service providers etc) to complete a transaction unless you want to.
6633  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitCollar (BOR) - fake team and plagiarized whitepaper! on: August 19, 2019, 03:19:33 PM
Well I have withdrawn both my support for the flag and negative feedback on your account. Just to make the flag inactive, I left an opposing vote. Alert me if the final DT member does delete his support so I can delete my opposing support.

I'll advice you avoid working with this particular project even if they promise to amend their ways as any other report of scam like activity/behavior won't be forgiven.
6634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitcoinnews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 19, 2019, 11:36:53 AM
<°°°>
Hopefully these figure will be worth a lot more by the end of the season, which finishes a week before the halving.

Love the sound of that, I have signed up and place my bet for the final game in matchday 2 for the season. Was still trying to navigate the site although I have figured everything out. Needed something to keep me engaged on the forum, was losing interest lately. it's just a game, lets have fun.

So no one, was willing to gamble on Wolves winning lol we're putting a lot of hopes on united neglecting the fact wolves are playing at home. Hope they don't disappoint.
6635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 19, 2019, 11:23:21 AM
Chelsea are in bad shape at the moment and they may find it hard to get out of this bad form which they are currently in. The Super Cup loss to Liverpool hurt them and its showing in this recent performance against Leicester which they should of beat at home. Hopefully they can turn this poor form around as they will need to quickly before they get left behind.

Very uncomfortable. Chelsea failed to win at home even though they looked very aggressive. The lack of completion in front of the opponent's goal must be used as an evaluation substance for Lampard. Btw, Leicester also showed a good performance last night. Both teams deserve a point.

What are you guys saying, Chelsea lost last season home game to Leicester, are you guys forgetting that?. The lost against Liverpool didn't affect us badly instead it motivated us as you can see the way the boys played in the first half. We're lacking continuity as our second half performance hasn't been impressive that's why we're losing this games. Liverpool were the side that got affected from the Istanbul game as they didn't play like a team wanting to challenge for the trophy although they were lucky to take all 3 points home. Lucky for them too City drew with Tottenham.

If Lampard is observant the best strategy he should apply, will be to get as much goals in the first as possible then play through the second half. From my observation Chelsea aren't scoring much goals this season. We have to work on our second half performance. Hope someone can pass that on to him.
6636  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pimoncoin - SCAM - They are deceiving people. on: August 19, 2019, 10:48:28 AM
Seems the project is intentionally avoiding this accusation as they have restricted access to the spreadsheet to prevent verification of the OP's claims. I have left a negative feedback although if you're interested in making the scam accusation more visible you can flag the project as they have violated a written contract to pay participants based on their rank and work.

After flaging the account, request for support by dropping the link to the flag here. My feedback stays until project has proven otherwise to the claims of the OP.
6637  Other / Meta / Re: @small improvement request. In merited posts, show your name in red or bold or.. on: August 19, 2019, 07:44:04 AM
crtl+f and type your name.

Thanks for pointing that out although not everyone uses a computer to access the forum, majority should be using their smartphone which aren't equiped with this function. OP"s suggestion will benefit both Mobile and Laptop users as it can be easily spotted without any effort.

@iasenko ok I get it although I would had prefer It to be more visible with highlighted red color. If this suggestions was to be implemented it should be red.
6638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How you guys are making money from this forum? ideas on: August 19, 2019, 07:30:44 AM

It's the best way but it isn't that easy to gain the trust of members to patronize you. I believe Jet Cash tried something similar but I guess there wasn't much of a success (interest) that's why he stop.  Sometime in the past he tried selling domain names on the forum. If users like LoyceV, Vod and DdmrDdmr were to monetize their service I'm positive they can't make few bucks from both traffic and sells of advert space on their website. During the early days of merit, BPIP was recieving lots of traffic.

LoyceV's website for trust, flag related updates, if he was to monetize it, will be a perfect example too but i guess these project are done with volunteering mindset for the progress of the forum.
6639  Other / Meta / Re: @small improvement request. In merited posts, show your name in red or bold or.. on: August 19, 2019, 07:07:11 AM
Looks promising, haven't been affected though but the possibilities are there. You didn't highlight any user on the image you provided to give us an idea of how it should look like. One part of me what's the feature as it'll prevent me meriting a post twice. On the other hand if i were to be a beneficiary, I won't want this (your suggestion) to prevent that lol. But on a general note, I'm in support of the idea. I'll go for red as it will be more visible than bold.
6640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A 2019 Critical Crypto Overview on: August 19, 2019, 04:58:45 AM
Thanks for the explanation, always knew, Libra will be a project to watch out for as It'll be bringing not just mainstream media attention but a fight to the industry especially when it comes to marketcap on Coinmarketcap but for the other aspects, substracting those involving actual use of the blockchain like building dApp etc, i didn't see how Libra will become a threat to ethereum most especially as Libra isn't totally a cryptocurrency or trying to be a building platform for dApp and the rest. Ethereum isn't a currency like Libra is aiming to be. So if Libra goals it to be globally accepted as a curreny, isn't those cryptos that their main goal is to achieve same success be the ones affected like Bitcoin.

Understandable, Libra will be taking the attention from alts that were aiming to achieve same success and render them all useless. Unless you're trying to say the altcoin market will suffer general because of Libra, like lack of funding etc then I'll understand how ethereum would be affected. Always thought a similar coin will be the one to outperformed ethereum since it's losing the hype that were associated with it being the King of alts.
