6621  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: April 23, 2022, 10:42:38 PM

If I remember correctly, in Norway (or Finland) any citizen can go to the website of the tax office and study the tax return of any other citizen (but not anonymously - you will find out who looked at your declaration). Such information is evaluated differently everywhere - somewhere as private, and somewhere as socially significant, that is, it is made public.
The very details of the cooperation between the casino and Drake do not really matter, but human curiosity is pushing to find out.

Seriously? That is something already private and I think it's already violating our privacy. Even an employee of tax agencies can't easily access any information without permission. I'm not aware that it's possible in Norway or Finland etc.

Regardless, I don't understand what's the big deal on that part related to Drake's partnership with Stake.

I know it doesn't really matter to know what's behind the cooperation between Drake and Stake but I don't see why should be curious about that.

Sadly there can be those times like that especially when people got so curious about your personal information or even your tax declaration, actually I'm seeing that they are just envy that's why they would take such steps to answer their curiosity when infact they already knew that it is illegal to invade someone's privacy especially for sensitive information like that.
Your personal information/data are mostly visited when you become a public figure or you contesting an election your opponents may try to look for data to use against you as a political attack and if you are found wanting in your tax returns that information can be used to disqualify you from an election that is what is happening in my region so the government makes it compulsory for public office holders and political leaders to declare their asset. and make their task information public and published on the revenue office website, but this does not apply to all the citizens but only to government officeholders.
6622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Using a Stop loss "Good" or "Bad" on: April 23, 2022, 09:50:48 PM
If you are using a trading Stop loss and Taking profit is one of the most basic things in the fundamentals of trading some people do not commit stop loss because they are willingly taking some risk to get more profit but of course the higher the loss too, But for me having this you make your self more responsible to every trade you want to do still its personal preferences and risk management. The purpose of the technical indicator is a guide you to put a SL and TP
You are correct but you seem to be missing something or is it me that is not getting you right, the aim of the stop lose feature is not to make profits but to avoid a total loss of the asset. In a way to me stop loss is best active when the trader wants to go away from the market and to help execute the trade on behalf of the trader,  risk management is a vital part of trading and the SL is most appropriate for this since it helps execute a trade when the market is heading in opposite directions.
6623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Blockchain Development, A plus or minus To The Cryptocurrency Space on: April 23, 2022, 07:00:57 PM
If there was no Ethereum blockchain, it would be worth inventing Smiley The creators of Ethereum simply figured out before anyone else that there was room in the crypto industry to implement a platform for smart contracts. If it wasn't for Ethereum, someone else would have certainly done it and we would be talking about another coin in the way we talk about Ethereum in your post right now.

Exactly! I think some people make wrong assumptions that smart contracts started with Vitalik and the rest of Ethereum founders. I can't blame them since Nick Szabo isn't as popular or as influential to the new breed of altcoiners.
Well, am well aware of the necessity of an alternative blockchain to Bitcoin since the Bitcoin blockchain I a highly privacy-oriented blockchain that can not be easily developed which is why there was a need for the ethereum blockchain to aid the stability of the cryptocurrency industry. But this development has brought with it quite a good number of vulnerabilities in the industry which has triggered discussion in some crypto communities.
6624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: April 23, 2022, 03:33:27 PM
There is too much information about BTC.
Sometimes I have a different view about this statement I feel Bitcoin lack adequate information and the need for more research work to be done in other to put out rich information that can aid Bitcoin scalability, no matter the media propaganda against Bitcoin from the bankers and the anti Bitcoin crusader have put out it can't stop Bitcoin community from getting involved in data-oriented research.
6625  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most rewarding referral system on: April 23, 2022, 09:01:28 AM
As long as I know there are 2 types of referral system in casino. The first one is based on our referral wagering activity and the 2nd one is based on the net profit of the casino. The first one is the most used referral system and most casinos uses this system such as duelbits, stake, primedice, roobet, rollbit, etc. The 2nd one is rarely used by crypto casinos but there are still some sites such as Fortunejack and BK8. If you believe that there will be many people registering with your referral link, simply take all the available casinos. The more referral program you participate in, the more chance for you to get some commission.
Great list you put up here @Bitinity referral system differs from platform to platform as you rightly mentioned we have two systems but the point that caught my attention is the part that you mention sharing site profits as part of referral system I was thinking backroll investment is not an affiliate program but investment proceeds. Anyway, I may be wrong on this but I will make further research to gain more knowledge on that particular aspect. Referral rewards are mostly based on the downline activities on the site which is what guarantees the reward earnings.
6626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 23, 2022, 06:59:13 AM
Arsenal have a tough opponent again, but they are playing at home today, maybe that factor can help them win Man U... Last time they were able to beat Chelsea away without any serious effort... Tonight they need to take 3 points to increase their lead, otherwise, Man U could overtake them in the standings!
Arsenal has been in their best possible form in the last couple of games back and their match with Manchester United will be a big factor to determine how prepared and form the club has become in the premier league round, even though the game may be a tough one since their playing against another strong club like Manchester United. But if I most make a bet on this match I will predict a 90 minutes draw and the possible home advantage.
6627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: April 23, 2022, 06:44:01 AM
So I have to use MATIC for gas fees and staking fees on the network last two weeks ago and when I so the chart and price movement I saw a lot of potential and how the coin make attempts that make it clear what the network stands to gain in the next couple of years to come,  magic is still selling at low price at the moment and this should be the best time to fill some bags before we see the real utility potential of polygon Matic. The network is fast but fees, I did not take close attention to that.
6628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Despite CBN’s clampdown, Nigerians traded N316.9bn bitcoin in 2021 on: April 22, 2022, 09:24:28 PM
I think it is high time government should stop enforcing the use and implementation of CBDC on the citizens, many countries that have successfully launched their cbdc have nothing to show forth in terms of the progress because it does not meet the major demand of what's expected by the people and the government tries to replace the effect of bitcoin with CBDC. I came across an article that shows how the citizens of Nigeria lost interest in their E-Naira digital CBDC which was launched by their government last year and this article am about to give a link to will explain the whole situation more: https://nairametrics.com/2022/04/05/nigerians-interest-in-enaira-declines-in-favour-of-bitcoin-and-other-cryptocurrencies/?amp=1
Well according to what is saw on the news recently and the statistics on the news show that e-naira have witnessed a wide range of adoption and is rated as the most adopted central bank digital currency globally and these statistics were arrived at using the number of wallet download over the period it was launched if that is through them to some certain extent the central bank of Nigeria may be having a good time with their e-naira project but my question is what is the user base of the naira and what the feedback of the citizens is and how their reaction toward this new currency.
6629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if she receives Bitcoin as gift on: April 22, 2022, 02:50:05 PM

Why I choose Bitcoin over other gifts

- Bitcoin can appreciate more in value with time.
- It is secure and private.
- It is fast and easy to transact.
- Can be a great asset that can change her financial status.
Your reasons for choosing Bitcoin are genuine and fact unless for the eventualities that may arise from the reception of this gift, e.g what if Bitcoin went the opposite direction that is falling in price as soon as you gift them the Bitcoin, a volatile asset such as Bitcoin to me is not a suitable birthday gift as you need to gift them something more stable and that have a physical representation. Again talking about changing the financial life through the gift may not be likely possible and depends on how much Bitcoin you gift them.
Another thing that will make your gift more meaningful is the fact that you are ready to educate them about Bitcoin before gifting them but know that this process may not make your gift to be as surprising as you said as they will already have the prior information about the gift. This is the point am trying to make, you can gift the Bitcoin anytime you want but not on a special occasion like a birthday.
6630  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 22, 2022, 12:19:11 PM
Obsanjo is once converted to Christianity then went to pastoring school and graduated, later became a Muslim. Nigerian politicians change beliefs like chameleon.
With all due respect, if you mean Obasanjo former president of Nigeria he has never been a Muslim or practiced any other religion except Christianity, Obasanjo was a strong Christian and was raised by a missionary and even the record of him going to theology school is just a recent event after he left office as Nigeria Democratic president.
6631  Economy / Gambling / Re: new bitcoin casino system on: April 22, 2022, 06:18:03 AM
Hello my boss want to open a bitcoin casino.

Can you help us with this? what is needed
I guess you just want to ask this question for fun and beside majority of members of this forum don't own or operate a casino so if you are serious about getting information on what is needed to operate a casino you should seek professional advice and get the developers of such site get an expert advice on that and not relying on a random suggestion from the public which can be misleading in most cases.
6632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A simple proposal for an environmental-friendly regulation for Bitcoin mining on: April 22, 2022, 06:10:38 AM
The topic of Bitcoin mining energy consumption is becoming a boring topic to me, this is because the EU who is in the frontline on the proof of the work ban Crusades has failed to properly investigate the actual energy consumption and the negative impact of POW Model of mining on the environment and another point that makes this so-called pow ban crusade look childish to me in the inclusion of a ban on the trading of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that use the proof of work method, this leads me to ask this novice question, does Bitcoin trading consume electricity and what is the direct connection between trading and high energy consumption or negative environmental impact?
This and many more are questions that need urgent answers from the EU authorities, in most countries like the US energy generation and distribution is the sole responsibility of the government and the consumer of those energy pay bills on the amount of energy consumed which generate huge revenue for the government and in this way the government sees energy consumption as a way of income generation for the government so mining farms contribute largely to the revenue generated from energy sales since Bitcoin mining consume high energy. This whole energy consumption and environmental factors raised by the EU as it relates to proof of work (pos) mechanisms to me look like corrupt policy aimed at weakening the overall dominance of the Bitcoin algorithm and giving support to a less trusted and centrally aimed proof of stake algorithm. This move trick is a sponsored politically motivated policy to me other than environmental issues because there is no correlation between the two main subject matters which are a ban on (pow mining and trading of currency that uses POW)
6633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: April 21, 2022, 08:52:19 PM
Recently Indian Finance minister N.Sitharaman said Money laundering, terror financing biggest concerns around cryptocurrency...
What can be the remedial step to address this concern.

https://www.bgr.in/news/fm-nirmala-sitharaman-says-biggest-risk-of-crypto-is-laundering-terror-financing-1259977/

This does not make sense and just a baseless statement and I will not take it seriously, we all know the history of money laundering and how the traditional currencies are the most used by criminal elements in carrying out money laundering since cash traditions can not be traced forever unless it goes through the banking system or through the blockchain. Cryptocurrency most especially Bitcoin is more of an anti-money laundering agent since all its transactions can be traced on the blockchain.
6634  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Nigeria's possible Bitcoin/cryptocurrency adoption 2024 on: April 21, 2022, 08:08:54 PM
Nigeria is a great country and Africa's most populous Nation and this high population has translated into a high level of Cryptocurrency volume this population advantage put Nigeria in the number one position in cryptocurrency adoption in Africa and Nigeria is among the top 5 countries in global cryptocurrency transaction volume.
Why there have not been significant cryptocurrency development/project in Nigeria.
In the last couple of years let's take 2015-2022 to study how Nigeria has reacted toward cryptocurrency and what the country has gained and what it stands to gain in the future, before the CBN announcement on the restrictions of financial institutions on cryptocurrency transactions the Nigeria government hard paid no attention to cryptocurrency and citizens and even government officials who have prior knowledge of cryptocurrency have adopted Bitcoin as a secondary currency which give many citizens the power to send any amount of money using Bitcoin as to avoid the many monetary limitations placed on business and personal bank accounts in Nigeria, this made Bitcoin become popular among many Nigeria youths when Bitcoin was used for donation During the END SARS PROTEST IN OCTOBER 2020 and Bitcoin have also provided an opportunity to the teaming Nigeria youth to make income from bitcoin trading and other related Bitcoin services. Bitcoin in Nigeria is becoming more and more popular among the populists and with the 2023 general election around the corner a lot of presidential aspirants are making promises and one of the best possible hands for the president the present Vice president Professor Yemi Osinbajo has hard a body language that suggest movement of crypto-friendly motive and in one of those close door party meeting he stated clearly that his administration will give room for digital development and blockchain is going to be at the center of that and cryptocurrency will be adopted as a secondary currency and if that happen Nigeria will be placed on the right part for economic viability and it citizens will have the freedom to make their financial lives better.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOPE FOR THE FUTURE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NIGERIA IN 2024 AND BEYOND?
6635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kid already making $32k monthly through ethtereum on: April 21, 2022, 07:26:44 PM
The kid's earnings have tripled in recent times and their mining farm is advancing with the reinvestment of their profits into acquiring new software and other mining equipment, and this has made their mining hash rate increase and the number of transactions carried out by these kids is increasing on. monthly basis, I will update this thread with the right figures being earned by the kids in the previous month.
6636  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sign Up Bonuses on: April 21, 2022, 05:21:20 PM
I discovered that must of the gambling sites, mostly the ones I signed up have no sign up bonus but others gave as I was told.

Because  sign up bonus is very much important to a beginner and also attract More customers to the site.

I know that, there are a lot of gambling sites that gives sign up bonuses but I have not come encounter with them.  If I told someone about a Gambling site. Some of them asked the sign up bonus.

In my location most companies give $10 + while some give $5. Just that most of the bonuses can not be used to play games until you deposit a specific amount of money to add up with the bonus, at that stage, I look at it as a discount.

What could be the possible caused of the companies that are not giving the sign up Bonuses?

Most time what I focus on is the reputation of the casino and not.the signup bonus, I have signed up on some sites in the past that gave me welcome bonuses in form of sign up bonus or deposits bonus but it is important to read through the T&C of most of them before you make an account or deposit most casinos that offer high welcome bonus always comes with harsh conditions that the player may not like at the end of the day so in order not to be disappointed you need to read through the terms and conditions of the site before you sign up.
6637  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: April 21, 2022, 04:56:06 PM
The best way to advertise a new casino is by promotional campaigns that are aimed at attracting new players to the site anything outside that will be a bonus system which is also a way to attract new customers to a gambling site, I am well aware of some site whom after successfully launching will come to this forum to make an ANN thread were their attention to the customers. But another effective way is through a signature campaign where users of this forum wear your signature and review your site constantly as reputable members of your community who can answer questions or direct customers to the admin of the casino.
6638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: April 20, 2022, 10:06:03 PM
Just as others have stated, you need to lock the thread since there is an ongoing discussion on this topic, but before that let me pen down my opinion on this topic.
The 2022 FIFA World cup battle have already started and as you said one of the favorite team of many football fans have been knocked out of the tournament at the qualifying stage the Nigeria team have been underperforming in their recent games and that attention is now shifted to another team who have the motivation to push through to the finals such as Egypt 🇪🇬 national team or even Ghana 🇬🇭 defeated the Nigerian team in the qualifying stage.
6639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Despite CBN’s clampdown, Nigerians traded N316.9bn bitcoin in 2021 on: April 20, 2022, 09:33:40 PM
Nigerians traded N316.9bn bitcoin
This figure represents the general Bitcoin transactions in Nigeria within the 2021 fiscal year this is a reflection of the positive notion of Nigerians toward cryptocurrency/BTC and Nigeria is among the highest in term of global cryptocurrency adoption and the African Cryptocurrency headquarter this positive adoption comes majorly from the youths who have shifted their attention to blockchain technology and it related development. The government of Nigeria at the moment may not think in the direction of Bitcoin regulations and cryptocurrency taxation may be far from possible in Nigeria but with the general election around the corner and a change of government coming the only viable presidential candidate the present vice president of Nigeria is a Bitcoin fan and there is a high possibility of Nigeria Bitcoin adoption from the year 2024 if he becomes the president of Nigeria.
Am optimistic about the fact that Nigeria is going to be the first country to make Bitcoin a legal currency in Africa as most other African countries like 🇬🇭 Ghana are making their central currency the Ghana Cds the only acceptable currency within the country which is viewed as a currency restriction policy it shows the hight the Ghana government could go in protecting their currency against other external currency which Bitcoin is one of them but the only advantage with Bitcoin is Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and its transaction can be done on p2p network.
So in conclusion Nigeria's Bitcoin adoption is not a new thing and this figure shows how Nigerian have made cryptocurrency their alternative currency in practice, this figure shows the general adoption ratio of Bitcoin in the west African country Nigeria there is a projection that Nigeria is going to be a Bitcoin country by the year 2024 when the present democratic government is a change to another President and a new CBN governor is appointed that will have the ability to develop a policy that will accommodate Bitcoin in the financial system and with a young President that knows the decentralized financial institutions, and the many developmental possibilities in the blockchain for the countries financial institutions.
6640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Element of blochchain making poeple to trust cryptp? on: April 20, 2022, 03:32:43 PM
First, this topic does not belong to the Bitcoin discussion board although there is an element of Bitcoin-related discussion on the topic.
Back to your question blockchain as a revolutionary tool is technical to the extent that record keeping is saved and secured for life as long the access to the harsh txd, so at that cryptocurrency e.g Bitcoin transactions are broadcast and processed on the blockchain which gives users the right to verify the transaction on the blockchain this gives room to transparency and trust since all transactions are verifiable on the blockchain.
