6621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you say to the naysayers even now as BTC and Crypto reaches $1Trillion? on: January 08, 2018, 09:36:41 AM
There are so many critics out there in the world, but as every day passes, we see the market cap of Cryptos get closer to $1 Trillion.

At what market cap will these critics turn out to be suppoters?

Do they need to see every single human being use it before they decide to join in on the finance revolution?

Naysayers will always be there whenever any new thing will open up. So first and foremost thing we need to do is ignore them for our own good. If we believe in something, then stick to it and ignore the naysayers. They are the most irrelevant creatures for any development. So the more we ignore them, the more positive energy we will have to accomplish any good thing. I agree to that the crypto market cap is heavily inflated and can be manipulated by the big players, but if the price of an asset is constantly on the rise, isn't it the same thing that we all want?
6622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are traders denying new users? on: January 07, 2018, 05:49:31 PM
Bitcoin has attracted a millions of new users after the exponential growth in 2017. Which caused bitcoin network to slow down and increased the transaction fees. The network is facing this scaling issue due to the increased number of volumes generated by the new as well as existing users. I believe a lot of exchanges are simple not ready to handle such kind of huge volume and that is the reason why they are on the risk of crashing. That's why they are denying new user registration. However, I believe once the network normalizes, the exchanges who are denying new users will open up for new registration again. I see that Poloniex is still accepting new users now however, you may experience delay in verification completion.
6623  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is why Bitcoin will double in USD value and altcoins will fall on: January 07, 2018, 05:34:52 PM
The value of any coin depends on the demand supply methodology. Due to the slow bitcoin network and insanely high fees a lot of people have moved their fund to altcoins which are technologically superior. So the demand for those altcoin increased pushing the price up. Now the network is coming back to normal, people have again started moving their funds back to bitcoin. However, I honestly think that few altcoins will not go down even after the bitcoin price goes up higher because people have now found value to those altcoins. Most of these altcoins offer faster and cheaper transactions, so people who require frequent transaction, will continue with those altcoins instead of bitcoins because it will save them a lot of money.

So I believe even if the bitcoin price gets doubled this year, few altcoins will also keep their head high. I am betting for ETH and Ripple and started investing in both of them. Lets hope for the best.
6624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD - But the Alt-s are SKY-ROCKETING to the Moon! on: January 07, 2018, 08:04:51 AM
Since New Year a funny thing has happened well for that matter since Goldman-Sachs came out with their derivative futures for BITCOIN, it has gone no where but trading in a very tight window,

On the other hand the alt's, especially equihash like HUSH, .. are up 5X

Hell even the SHIT-COIN either etherum with +70% pre-mined ( almost 4million of  the 4.8 million in circ were pre-mined ), even that dog is up 2X for NY

It's obvious that all cash is now flowing to alt's the NEW MONEY ain't buying BITCOIN.

Z-Classic is up like 20X in a few weeks, what is up with that? There are dozens of same-same shit as this z-coin

Lot's of plays here, our own BITCOIN-Z which is much better than bitcoin-gold and is just waiting to rocket to the moon, when discovered.

Alts are up because of the investment inflow and positive vibes around them because bitcoin's network is facing a massive scaling issue. So people are moving to alts because they are technologically superior and offers almost free transactions with instant transactions. Bitcoin has become an investment asset. But if you think bitcoin is dead, please transfer all your bitcoins to me and I promise to take good care of them. Surely we have diverted from the initial goal of bitcoin of being a decentralized p2p transaction facilitator, but bitcoin offered enormous return on investment since last two years. So bitcoin looks really good for investment and certainly not dead yet.
6625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fee on: January 07, 2018, 07:53:43 AM
I am not sure whether I have understood your concern correctly. But lets take an hypothetical example. If you need to send $100 to a different address and the wallet is asking for $35 fees, then your total expenditure will be $135 for that transaction. The transaction fees are extra which is added with the transaction. So if you are sending $100 to someone, $135 will be your final expense. I hope this helps!

6627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Incoming: BTC to the MOON ? on: January 06, 2018, 05:25:18 PM
When LN will be there, will BTC go the moon and crush all altcoins on the road ??

Definitely yes! Bitcoin price and acceptability both will increase if lightening network is implemented. It will put an end to the bitcoin scaling issue and put bitcoin on the right path. However, I doubt other coins will be much affected. Especially those with good technology and near instant transactions. WIth the increase acceptability of bitcoin, other altcoins will also receive investment. Because bitcoin is the pioneer of crypto currencies. Yes, the altcoin market will take an initial hit, but will come back on track in no time.
6628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is cryptocurrency of smaller value more likely to be double? on: January 06, 2018, 05:09:37 PM
The values of different kinds of cryptocurrency differ a lot. bitcoin now worth more than 10,000 US dollars each, but it came to be less possibly double again.

In contrast, the values of other small cryptocurrency often  double or even rose to several times in a short time. In the case of equivalent technology and promotion, the smaller value the currency is, the more likely to be double? Is there such a trend? Huh Huh

No such trend exists. However, the value of a crypto currency depends on its market cap and the acceptability. Bitcoin, being a pioneer of crypto currency market is used by the majority of the new comers in the market. means a lot of people enters in to crypto market through bitcoin. That is the reason why bitcoin is termed as the most popular crypto currency.

However, those who are tenured investors of crypto, they always try to explore new options to follow the rule of diversification. The technologically superior altcoins are most likely to be doubled due to its own potential. There are lot of altcoisn who often rise to 40% but then goes back to the initial value very often. But doesn't really follow a trend.
6629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin expectation $25000+ on: January 06, 2018, 04:47:30 PM
I somewhat agree with you but not completely. Bitcoin will go even beyond 25k USD but not anytime soon. We need to take care of the scaling issue now. A lot of transactions are pending and the network fees has gone up to an insane level. That is the reason why a lot of investors are moving their funds to other technologically superior coins like ETH, Ripple or Zcash pushing their price to all time high.

The lightenting network is expected to be implemented by the first quarter of 2018 to tackle the scaling issue. Once it is done, bitcoin is expected to go higher. But at the currency situation, I will be happy if bitcoin touches 19k USD.
6630  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will You Still Get Into Bitcoin Even if the Gov't Declared it Illegal? on: January 06, 2018, 04:05:55 PM

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are right now making a big buzz and though 2017 is one of its most controversial year there are still more with this industry that will continue on creating a stir as it is entering the mainstream of the population. because of its increasing popularity, countries and their financial leaders are now forced to look at Bitcoin seriously and come up with the decision either to open up their country legally or follow the path decide on by China last September. The choice is theirs to make as we individually could not do so much about it except voicing our opinions if given the chance to say anything. Certainly, there are countries which do not recognize Bitcoin and are asking their citizens not to get involved with it warning that Bitcoin can be just another ponzi in the making.

Now, if you happen to be a residing citizen of a country that is banning Bitcoin will you still discreetly involved with it in the face of some possible sanctions?

Drugs and rave parties are banned in majority of the countries, but it still exists in the society in almost every countries. So it doesn't matter if my government bans bitcoin. I will continue to use it. Probably I will have to take some precautions and can't use it openly the way I am doing now, but won't stop using bitcoin. Government can issue a notification and ban it but they need to have proper infrastructure to catch it. Thankfully my government doesn't have such infrastructure in place. Also small amount transactions will not raise any alarm as well.

I believe, bitcoin is a life changing innovation to many. A lot of people are earning a decent amount of money from crypto and living a decent life. If the government can't provide a job to them, they also don't have the right to take away their fundamental rights of earning money. So no matter what my government thinks, I will continue to use it.
6631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin in 2018 can bring changes to its users on: January 06, 2018, 03:47:14 PM
which I mean is that there is a financial change to the users when compared in the previous year, I hope the bitcoin price will continue to rise so that bitcoin can be better known by all levels of society, because it can change the circumstances of users towards a better financially

It's true that bitcoin will be better known in the society in 2018 and the price will continue to rise. Now that the festive season has come to an end, people are coming back to the crypto market with their surplus money to invest back in crypto market pushing the prices higher. Bitcoin is indeed helping a lot of people around the world to live a better life and to become more financially independent. But there is a reason to worry now.

The exponential growth of bitcoin 2017 had raised quite a few alarms in the upper houses of governments. So a lot of governments have now started debating on it to understand the financial implications of bitcoin on their economy and whether to legalize it or ban it. So I believe, a lot of countries will come up with their decisions on bitcoin in 2018. Either they will ban it or legalize it. Since a lot depends on the governments, lets just hope for good.
6632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its too late to invest in Bitcoin! on: January 06, 2018, 03:37:29 PM
With the high price of Bitcoin, I think its unwise to invest your money in bitcoin at this point in time. Maybe it's better to look for other Altcoins being offered in the Market. What do you think?

This question will never become old and will always find some relevance regardless of the time and bitcoin price. I have seen people asking the same question when bitcoin price was at $500 and even while at $19000. So the answer also remains the same. Any time is a good time to invest in bitcoin if you have a long term goal. This long term goal is very important. Because short term profits seeker are mainly not investors, they are traders. So for investment bitcoin looks really good at this moment. Just don't invest 100% of your surplus fund in to bitcoin. Invest 60% in bitcoin and the rest 40% in altcoins which you think will have a bright future. This is hedging technique and will save your funds during the bad times.
6633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun Fact: Historically, Bitcoin always...! on: January 05, 2018, 10:23:23 PM
Technical chart can't be correct always. Even though I want bitcoin to touch even higher than 20 grand, it looks difficult this time. Bitcoin is facing massive scaling issue due to which the numbers of unconfirmed transactions and fees, both are increasing. Unless we find a permanent solution to this scaling issue, it is hard for bitcoin to sustain even at 17 grand. However, it is just my personal opinion and I will be the happiest person if the price touches 20 grand again.
6634  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and not Paying Taxes on: January 05, 2018, 09:44:26 PM
Tax payment is a necessity and No one should ignore that. Doesn't matter whether you are earning from your job or from Cryptocurrency. I always include my earning from Cryptocurrency in to my tax information sheet and pay appropriate taxes. If you have done that, at least you will have the ground ready for talking with the tax authorities if they come looking for you. I always keep my tax records updated with my crypto earnings so that my tax authority can't call me a tax evader. At least I will have something to counter them.
6635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Merrill Lynch banned investment in Bitcoin on: January 05, 2018, 08:22:50 PM
Just another addition to our ignore list. Like Merrill lynch banned crypto investment using their network, similar way, we also need to start moving our business to elsewhere. I am actually not surprised by this step and more banks will be added to this list sooner or later. Whenever one door closes, many doors open up. So the more banks join this ban list, more new opportunities will open up and more new businesses will start to help us moving our money to crypto market. So just ignore Merrill lynch for now, it won't have any impact on bitcoin price for sure, especially when it started to recover.
6636  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why is my deposit pending at Yobit for 3 days now? on: January 05, 2018, 07:08:56 PM
That's strange! I have used yobit for a long time and have never faced such issue. However, first check in blockchain that your transaction is confirmed or not. If it's confirmed then the issue is on yobit's part. Only their support staffs will be able to assist you.

But if the transaction bis not confirmed yet, the probably you can use some transaction acceleration service. But I don't think a trans would be pending for 3 days in a row. Check if the network relayed the transaction properly.
6637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading is best? Hold trading or Live Trading? on: January 04, 2018, 10:29:06 PM
Hello Everybody,

Please ensure me which trading way is good. I am new in trade platform that's why i don't know much about it. So, Hold trade or live trade , which trade is good ?

Thank You.

Holding is not trading. It is just an investment like bank deposits or general stock market investment. You see  value and good future in a crypto, you buy it and wait for price increase. That's not pure trading, that's investing.

To start with pure trading, you need to track the market very closely. You have to identify opportunities and then place orders in the market accordingly. It requires a lot more effort to become a trader than to become an investor.

Both strategies are good. But trading has a higher probability to generating higher income. So choose wisely based on your risk taking capability.
6638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees increase with old wallet ($200 FEES !!!!!) on: January 04, 2018, 10:16:58 PM
The fees doesn't really depends on the age of the wallet. It mainly depends on the network congestion. Also since you have many smaller inputs it needs consolidation before you send a bigger amount out. So whatever wallet you use, you will have to pay similar fees. In some wallet though you will have the option to choose fees, but the lower you choose, the longer it will take for confirmation. So we are left with very less choice until lightening network is implemented.
6639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global Regulatory Crackdown On Cryptocurrencies Is On The Way on: January 04, 2018, 08:34:01 PM
I think here global means the majority of the countries. That is expected to happen. Till date, we have very few countries who have either banned it completely like Morocco, Bangladesh or Israel, or legalized it like Japan. Majority of the countries have not yet reached to a conclusion yet. However after the recent price surge of bitcoin, a lot of countries are now analyzing the situation to come up with some concrete plan and framework.

So once they come up with their decisions, you will either have it legal or illegal. But to come up to such decision, countries will have to go through some tough actions to get to the root of the actual situation. So a crackdown and further investigation will surely take place sooner or later.
6640  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Please help me, I need to buy bitcoin on: January 04, 2018, 07:10:54 PM
Try Localbitcoins platform. It allows users to buy bitcoins instantly. However it is just a platform that connects traders from around the world. So be sure to check offers from your country amd the reputation of the trader before opening any trade request. You can also buy with cash if you see any local trader offering such service. I hope this helps!
