Sorry Leute. Aber von der Ursprungsidee von Bitcoin wird nicht viel übrig bleiben. Das hat sich erledigt. KYC, whitelisting und blacklisting von Adressen, Mittelherkunftsnachweis, Anonymisierung durch Mixer, Geldwäscheverdacht ab 51€ (deswegen ja KYC). Einführung von KYC bei dezentralen Exchanges. Wallets werden auch irgendwann folgen.
Da ist nichts mehr mit Borderless. Banking the unbanked.
Dezentral und be your own bank bleiben vielleicht noch übrig. Aber sonst?

banken und andere institute werden, wenn sie schon versuchen das bitcoin spiel zu spielen, uns dazu zu bekommen, es nach ihren regeln zu spielen. aber da müssen wir ja nicht mitmachen.

Nun, ich will ja niemand auf bestimmte Ideen bringen, aber es wäre z.B. eine Bestimmung möglich, dass jeder, der gewerblich auf einer wie auch immer gearteten Exchange - also egal ob zentral oder dezentral organisiert - Bitcoins gegen Fiat handelt, die Identität des Handelspartners erfragen muss. Es wäre also nicht die Exchange der Ansprechpartner, sondern der Händler selbst.

Yes they are buying real BTC and they are using Paxos to do so. They are making money on the spread. I doubt they are taking possession of the coins. They are just facilitating the buying and selling and making 0.5% on each buy or sell. Paxos is holding the coins and is regulated so they are not going to do fractional reserve.

All this talk about fractional reserve is just FUD.

However, PayPal will charge a spread (or margin) between the market price we receive from our trading service provider (Paxos) and the exchange rate between US dollars and the Crypto asset displayed to the user. You'll see the final exchange rate before confirming any purchase or sale of Crypto.

Everybody has a different understanding, what is Spam Megathreads. And why writing messages there is not a good idea. Yes, such messages are not always spam, we do agree with you on that, but, most often, it is spam. As we wrote last week, for us, as the Advertizer, the goal is to prevent our banners from getting buried in an avalanche of posts, where nobody can find them. When a topic has over five pages and more, it means there are 100+ posts. How do you think, are there many people, who will be thoroughly and meticulously reading the whole bunch of 100 and over, gazillion and bazillion of posts? We think that this number will be quite low.

This is why our advertising signatures is at risk of going unnoticed. For us, the Advertizer, there is no economic incentive to pay for such posts/messages. As well as keeping those users in the signature campaign, who can write lots of posts in topics with 5+ pages.

Once again, we request all participants, to kindly re-read all the campaign's ToS in the original post, to avoid such questions, issues and concerns in the future.

We are very loyal to our participants, we often meet them half-way in case they (God forbid) encounter some obstacles and challenges that prevent them from meeting the required number of posts. Does waves.exchange is the official exchange for waves? Just asking this because I have been scammed for some small of amount of waves on that exchange platform.
I just wanted to confirm if this is connected to that or not.
The scam was they promoted on twitter saying that they would sell, or we can buy a coin to their website, withdraw it and exchange it on Yobit (it happened a year a go I think?)
I am not saying that Wave cypto is a scam, I;m more likely referring to the exchange platform.
