Dear Dev,
I have just downloaded the wallet version 1.0.4 but it told that "checkpoint too old..." Why that ? Please help !
Thanks !
Because the checkpoints are old. Once you get past the old ones and into the new ones it will be gone. Wait until fully synced

Could someone compile a simple ubuntu / pi guide so I can or sh like snowballs so I can just download and run the wallet rather than building from source. Cheers
Sure. Did the one I set up for BALLS work well for you? I'll do the same style if so

Been holding M for awhile, so exited to see what happends when high pos kicks in ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) You're excited for the price plummet? Well, mostly interested to see how it goes longterm. longterm is when profesional investors and wall street starts trading cryptos, that could be interesting for sure ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Happy staking! You know, I'm totally on board with your coins... But without coin control these will always be at a disadvantage... and less fun. Also, if you ever run out of vowels... I could invent a 6th vowel you. MMXIV had coin control in 1.0.3, but the client performed like shit so we pulled it. I'll be putting a far more advanced version of coin control back into MMXIV than we had before The wallet is real slow in syncing, almost done after a couple of days, hopefully tomorrow. Is this normal ? close the wallet and open again..i did it 3 times and it synced Problem solved, downloaded old version, 1.0.3. Deleted dat folder and sync is going fast. 1.0.8 is the current version Sorry for the confusion, I had problems with 1.0.3, not sure where I downloaded it... 1.0.8 solved my problems. Good shit. Let me know if you have any other problems. If I'm not around, someone else will happily help you out

Add the more wallets on Linux and Android and not just on Windows ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Android gets too hot. If you are unable to compile the client yourself on Linux, you should use the script that is posted for the Pi, that will work for both platforms

Tor is not anonymous how to protect user's anonymity?
That's the billion dollar question

Got my first Super stake today. 365 coins for it I got a total of 552 for the day.
Nice.
Still 2000 blocks until we start going down and 7000 more blocks above 5000%

scammer will not tell us why the genesis block is soooooo old.
There is no excuse for this one. IDIOT SCAMMER.
We were throwing around ideas to merge the two chains into one, or play with side chains, but decided against it for now. Using the same genesis block for both coins allows us many options later that other coin pairs don't have. BALLS was never meant to get popular, the whole reason we even launched it was to use as a rewards program for customers of our staking hardware units, allowing them to stake both MMXIV and BALLS on a single $100 standalone device While the retards drool, Spots has some real innovation happening here: (1) A standalone Raspberry Pi staking device is actually an interesting experiment... Though I don't see why he doesn't just upload an image for a standard Pi... But maybe he has plans to evolve this into into something bigger... Once you get into smart cards and security devices... it gets real interesting real fast. (2) An ultra-stake coin launch before settling into a sustainable level... Has turned out to be a terrific way to create a widely, fairly distributed LIQUID coin. In spite of the usual crazies braying for blood... After 3 weeks BALLS has 340 enthusiasts with > 1000 coins... And the Top 10 owns about 40%... with the Top 20 owning 50%. That could easily be tweaked in endless ways... to produce more desirable distributions. Everything but the WebUI is currently open source. This is the one for BALLS. There will be more wallet type hardware coming very soon
Raspberry Pi Wallet Now Available This script will download or update any dependencies It will also check to ensure the newest source is used Finally, fresh clients will be compiled locally on your Pi
You are able to stake both MMXIV and BALLS at the same time on one Pi device. Both coins were built specifically for this purpose

Anyone have a example Conf. file for adding some good nodes.
You don't need to addnodes. Just load it up and you'll have like 5 connections instantly Ah okay. I have all my BALLS in one Client I never know if its all setup right until I receive that first stake. Iv read through the threads and could not find a stated time-span for coin maturity to occur. When will my BALLS grow up? 24hrs to reach maturity Yep, we stake quick First stake Achived, Im in the game. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Feels good doesn't it?

I hatched some Balls and sold off some of the stake but some of the stake plus main is in tact but now my wallet says not staking and the light has gone grey..but I never tool all the coins out just some of the stake to sell so i can reach break even in a few days,m then I want to just compound the balls for a while after that.. So when will my arrow go green again after how many hours? Wallet is unlocked and i got over 24k coins in it. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Read a bit back up thread, dev said little green arrow is a biach, don't believe all it says ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) He is working on making it more accurate, but so far no luck. Edit: I'm usually getting stakes when green arrow says 2 days, soo.... there's that. Someone also said got stake when it was grey. Arrow is unreliable. I'm staking while grey right now Oh that's a relief.. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I hop-e i grow some balls tomorrow.. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) You should

I'll respond to this one since it's important, but then I'm really done in here because I've already addressed every bullshit concern way more than I should have. It's the same genesis block as MMXIV, which was launched in May. I used the genesis block that was used for the coin swap to a Proof of Stake chain, which has been discussed in the first few pages of the thread; there is no secret about it to anyone who does even the slightest research into the coins. This was done on purpose and not a mistake. If you compile yourself, the source makes Snowballs-Qt as being named MMXIV-Qt, which is also on purpose We were throwing around ideas to merge the two chains into one, or play with side chains, but decided against it for now. Using the same genesis block for both coins allows us many options later that other coin pairs don't have. Im 18 hours in and still waiting for that first stake (>")>
Is that after the 24 maturing time? If not you have 6 more hours before you start to stake. Staking is taking a long time now. 2.5K coins took about 31 hours to stake. Correct. There is a lot of competition for staking right now
