6641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you stumbled on access to the satoshin@gmx.com account? on: September 09, 2014, 07:55:48 AM
Well, that isn't a hard question. Add a donation address to his profile(s) and then just wait. I am pretty sure you could get 10BTC easily.
6642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshin@gmx.com is compromised on: September 09, 2014, 07:47:07 AM
Is it possible that he deleted the e-mail address @gmx when he left the project and that it has been recycled?  Someone else may have been able to sign up, then use the reset password feature on these other sites.  It is likely that the @gmx address would have been destroyed at the conclusion of his participation in the project, as all relevant information and e-mails have been public from the beginning.

1) Satoshi finishes with Bitcoin and deletes GMX account
2) He does not delete other accounts (sourceforge, i2p, etc)
3) GMX account is recycled after x period of time
4) Person signs up for @gmx account after it is recycled
5) Passwords for other sites are reset because they still point to the @gmx e-mail address as a recovery
6) Person tries to profit by extortion and fails

This is probably the most likely scenario... and they probably don't have any of Satoshi's information because it is unlikely that any e-mails were still in the box when he re-set up the @gmx address.
This is my prediction as well. That guy could have made shitloads of BTC by posting donation address, etc, but instead he is being a random troll. Damn.

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems that the hacker has access to mails from 2011, so the account wasn't expired.
6643  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 07:33:14 PM
See, this is where I'm obviously confused, I thought that just above you were saying "marco, you're fine" which I interpreted as meaning that you approved of his change.  I don't know what's happening, obviously.
I approved of it because I thought we had to pay today, which isn't true. I misinterpreted what DiceBitco.in said.
Just to be clear, Dooglus and I are enforcing the signature campaign rules, which means that you have to use their signature.
6644  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 07:14:21 PM
Already changed. If we can drop out now, let us know.
We can't guarantee anything right now. If you want a guarenteed payment you will have to stick with the DiceBitco.in signature till the end of the period. And even then we might not be able to pay everyone everything, since we only have 10BTC that we can use for said payments. This is a really tricky situation right now, but we will do what we can.

I admit that I am not completely following what's going on with this dicebitco.in thing, but I do have to say that I think your point seems questionable, marcotheminer.  If I paid you to advertize for ACME Rockets, and we agree that you'll bear the advert for a given time, and then you tag a "sux" on the end of the advert or something equivalent, I think that I would consider you to be in breach of our contract.  Again, maybe there's some detail here that I'm missing.
This is why Dooglus and I decided that you aren't allowed to change your signature to something else. You will be dropped from the campaign if it happens.
6645  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 06:49:14 PM
Hello everyone,

Dooglus and BitcoinInformation here. We have talked a bit and decided that we will be enforcing the rules set by DiceBitco.in. If you want to advertise the site, you can, but decide for yourself. If you think it's a scam, and you don't want to advertise a scam, then change your signature. Hower, you most likely won't get paid, since you are breaking the campaign rules. This also means that changed signature's are invalid!

If we have coins left at the end of this period, we will pay those who dropped out now for being in the campaign for a week. We have send DiceBitco.in a PM asking if we could do an early payout, because the current arregement isn't optimal.

We will keep you all updated!

Kind Regards,
Dooglus and BitcoinInformation

Dont take too much for yourself Tongue /sarcasm
Dooglus and I are fair and decent persons. No need to worry.

EDIT: I will be out for around an hour (RL stuff, sorry). Please don't spam this topic, thank you.
6647  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 05:04:49 PM
Thank you all! Dooglus and I have been talking about this already. We will get back to you guys Wink

EDIT: Please don't remove your signature (marcotheminer, you should be fine). It's our only way to see if someone sticked with the campaign rules. No signature is most likely no payment.
6648  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 02:19:53 PM
after the incident
everybody try to divest
Bankroll decrease
then someone name MATEO occur
he leach site profit every second

What an irony

BY THE WAY, will dicebit SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN will be continue ?
or it will be SHUT DOWN ??

Dooglus and I both have 5BTC in escrow (so 10BTC in total) for the Signature Campaign. If they don't pay their campaign participates, we will use those 10BTC to pay said participants as good as possible.
6649  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 02:05:42 PM
Well, I'm pretty sure that this now has turned into a scam (yes TF, you were right). OP doesn't respond on this topic anymore, chat is disabled and someone is draining the site, this is just way and way to fishy.
6650  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 12:54:08 PM
Dicebitco.in seems like a scam, so this site didn't last long I see..

What's up with the "cleansing" of their cold wallet?
https://blockchain.info/address/19tQNCrmaW6EADfJrtBaRixRkPyVrvb6yk

Looks like a "hit and run" to me.
Most of the cold wallet has been send to the hot wallet, because +- 6000BTC was divested and withdrawn.

I don't believe the story anymore. This is way too sketchy.
6651  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 12:28:02 PM
Where does it say that? Didn't see anything about Staff in the op. Also he posted the following on Sept 3

Campaign is FULL ! Thank you all for your participation !

Topic is LOCKED, since no new members will be accepted. Thank you!
They stated that in their other topic, but I am currently to busy to go and find it for you, sorry. My internship is consuming all of my time.
6652  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 11:49:20 AM
I am going to agree that this is getting really sketchy. I really hope that this was just a mayor screw up, but my belief in that is decreasing rapidly.
6653  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 11:37:41 AM
The ranks Legendary and Staff can still join the DiceBitco.in Signature Campaign. You will have to send them a PM to sign up.
6654  Economy / Services / Re: Need someone to buy me stuff from Silkroad - only place the order. on: September 08, 2014, 10:22:30 AM
Why you cant buy it in the shop?
Cigaretts is not illegal.
Cigarettes are often cheaper when you buy them from outside your own country. I save up to 50% if I order from Only.
6655  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 07:54:32 AM
Who forces them to answer us? They could just ignore us if there is too much questions, no need to disable chat.
Why can't we discuss with each others?
This is starting to seem very fishy to me Angry
I totally get that man and I agree that they shouldn't have done it, but that doesn't mean that I don't understand it. Ignoring a chat is a lot harder then you think. I left yesterday, but still kept checking what was going on.
6656  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 07:50:47 AM
Wow chat is removed and no reply there, genius move.
Well. I can understand that. People where spamming that chat, it's was going crazy in there. Constantly responding to the same question/bullshit isn't going to help them.
6657  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 07:30:23 AM
Is the exact date and time the malicious code went live known? I have over 175,000 bets with more than 60% falling in between Sept 4th and Sept 6th.

I am one of the accounts affected by this bug. Are the winning bets still not being paid out?
As far as I read it happened after the 28th of Augusts. I not sure though so don't take my word for it.

i still dont get this.
why is skipping nounce such a big issue? can't the dev just fix the code and get back to normal?
dice game is all random anyway.

now my coins is stuck in DB. withdrawal still not working..
Hot wallet is most likely empty. You will have to wait for DiceBitco.in to refill it.
6658  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 07:22:24 AM
I'm also interested in this. My understanding is that the refund to the rollers was to be done out of devs' pockets, while now it seems that somehow investors payed it, at least partially.
Not accusing anyone, but 100BTC down in profit in half a day seems strange.
How is that strange? A whale popped up, gambled lucky, withdrew. It has happened before and will happen again. Remember that whale (Nakowa/charlotte) on JD? He took a huge chunk out of the profit:

6659  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 06:49:10 AM
The address in question has a 0 balance (see here. It looks like .05 was transferred to one address (likely your personal address to claim the tip) and 4.9998 was sent to 1MuCGwYWCDJCQJy5aoJaGSDDriRt1F2BPm on 3/9/14 via TX 140688a73d67f4bbaf59c117c3df67f115984d40e70ba469f4f9c76932648082
Ah fuck. It should be in there, but I already know what happened. I have been using the new Electrum version (instead of the old 1.8.1) and there that address wasn't frozen (for some reason the new version didn't see it). I will send the 5BTC back to that address. Sorry for this. The 0.05BTC was indeed a tip for my service.

EDIT: The 5BTC has been send back to proof that I still have it. a5bcaa2da1c85c0b1649b36741dd0bf4fc61077bccd532a8b5a0a25d7ec25746

@bitcoininformation do you pay the enrolled users with the escrow funds ?  And also @dooglus ( I remember he has got ~10 btc escrow ).
I do not. The 5BTC will only be used if DiceBitco.in doesn't pay its signatuer campaing participants. Also, Dooglus has 5BTC just like me.
6660  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 05:46:22 AM
Okay, I read up on that thread (thanks!) and it looks to me like the sig campaign hasn't been the issue, they're having problems with a possible hack or security breach and their bankroll.  Seems premature to put the sig campaign * up unless they actually missed a payday already.
That is exactly my reasoning. This is a "Signature overview"-topic and not a "Gambling overview"-topic, so I won't be adding an asterisk on their campaign yet. I have no reason to believe that they won't pay. This is, of course, my current opinion. It can change in the future.

Dicebitco.in (Thread)
Miscellaneous: Site is going through a major reputation crisis. Roughly 6,000 BTC has been withdrawn from the bankroll in the last 12 hours. There are accusations of cheating both users (gamblers) and investors. I would suggest adding an asterisk to the campaign and editing the description to reflect the credibility issues. Also can you please confirm that 5 BTC is still being held in escrow (preferably by providing the address funds are being held in).
I can confirm that I still hold those funds. You can check the signed message here.
