NO pelicans stayed hot, they are trailing but were able to beat the Nets in the dying seconds.
I am impressed with the composure they have, I hope they will become as one of the best contended in the West.

On the other hand, it's the Depending Champ who are killing the Knicks in the 4th quarter alone, what a Choke job done by the Knicks.

It is just that GSW's chemistry is so freaking good.
They know who is hot and where to pass the ball. They know how their team mates move. It is like a brotherhood already with the same mind set.

It can be beaten but what team really plays like that?
They lose against Denver but just for a little deficit. Houston seems to be whack when CP3 is not around and their style is full of isolation plays. I would very much like to see games that includes every player on the court.

Then they will be hurt so bad.
I will stay with bitcoin no matter what. I am seeing this world changing the way transactions will be and bitcoin is part of that.

I am more afraid of the what if there will be no more internet which is impossible. It is just starting and so is the crypto world. We should always remind ourselves about that.
6643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thought of Satoshi Nakamoto- Agreed?? on: October 26, 2018, 08:33:34 PM
It needs believing because it doesnt have a physical feature.

I think that is what he meant about that.
People. Human. We believe in things that we touch, feel, smell or taste. If none of those are happening then it doesnt exist.
Bitcoin do have all of those kind of feature. So it is like a belief that will live with the people. But it is really there.
That is why all of those crypto currencies should thank bitcoin first. It opened the eye of everyone who are now supporting the crypto world to a new kind of technology.

Okay, should we change the thread name to LA Lakers updates and Lebron James discussion?  Grin

I think for the meantime yes.. Smiley As long as there is a pure hater and pure fan here of Lakers or should I say Lebron, this will be a non-sensestop discussion. Like I said, I don't really understand why people are all-eyes to Lakers. There are other teams to watch too.

There are lots of happenings in the league now that is not being discussed here even how good it is because of that LeBron hype. Maybe because the only team they know is Lakers, Warriors, Rockets etc.. lol.

Examples are:

a) Blake Griffin's 50 points (it's now rare to see these days a power forward making a big production like that because they are also focus on defense.)

b) Nikola Jokic'swonderful record of  posting a triple-double with 30 or more points without missing a field goal. That's insane.

c) Steph Curry's set a new record of getting the Rank 5th in 3-point scoring leaders. And I think he will nailed the 1st Rank soon if he continue to play like that.

and many more......

Nikola Jokić - Ooohh this guy. I remember Kevin Love in him when it comes to playing basketball.
Remember Love's record of surpassing Karl Malone streak of double double which is 51. Kevin did 53. Rawr.
Now this guy Jokić.
He got a lot of talent with that big body of his. He just needs more improvement if ever he will be facing big men like Capela or Embiid.

Another is this guy. Fred Van Vleet upping his game. Although it cannot be seen in his stats, the way he plays the game at Toronto really changed.

I am just hoping to see this guys to stay healthy so we could watch some good games. Great players are scattered all over now.
6645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burn on: October 26, 2018, 11:28:37 AM
I is a strategy when they see not much movement with the value of their coin.
It is a basic one and used much. Burning tokens to simply make it larger in value because of supplies.
Since there is no buyer or its rank is going down they  will try to change that to be seen again by investors or traders.
It is also a good preparation until the developers unlock their tokens.
Of course they will dump it afterwards making a lesser value of it.
Well they are in profit at that point.
6646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still "Early Adopters"? on: October 25, 2018, 11:09:52 PM
I'm glad to know your opinions about that...

Try to image 10 years from now...It will be comparable with 2009 "early adopters"?

I do think so.
There are times when I think we are so far away from when it was created but if you look at your sorrounding you will see we are not there yet.
A lot of people doesnt even know what bitcoin is.
Been to public places and seen like 1 out of 10 only knew about it.

That is what we need. A huge number of people using crypto. But they are still stuck with the traditional fiat.
6647  Economy / Economics / Re: current situation of cryptocurrency for 2018 on: October 25, 2018, 09:25:14 PM
We could always say that. Not to expect anything.

There is a problem though.
More users are looking forward that December 2017 might happen again. Fortune tellers coming in and speaking of predictions which have no basis at all.
Yeah it will just happen because they said it. Funny yet it could also be a start for new investors to come in and maybe another Fudster will emerge that will hate bitcoin for still not moving. Grin
6648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to ETH? on: October 25, 2018, 08:46:58 PM
Well it is still popular so there is always a chance.
But do not get too attached to it. If there is a chance of selling it at a good number then why not then invest in a new one.
It is now just being used as a means to create ICO's. ERC20 tokens are the ones who in bloom by now. Maybe you could get your ROI back with buying those tokens with good features.
We cannot really foretell what could happen. It will always be a risk to wait.
6649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: October 25, 2018, 06:48:30 PM
Many beginners want's to become a trader, but they are skipping the process and start looking for an exchange as much as possible without knowing how to trade well. Trading is not that easy, it requires a lot of research, and analysis treat trading as your Job!

One of my friend asked me about the current exchange he is using, and what coins to buy so he can make profit. Well, I don't give any advice regarding on this one because for me if you want to make profit you should know it on your own. I just give some advice that if he really wants to become a trader, go take the process, learn more and you will see what coins to buy especially during this bear trend.

How do you see your trading activities? Are you just here to buy and sell or you are here to have more good coins and hold it until you make profit?

Process. I think that best suites the definition of starting to be a trader.

It cannot be rushed. A lot of times bad things happens to those who step in without even having knowledge and just going with the hype.
You must know what coin or token you will trade. Its history, updates, is it still being maintained? Those kind of stuffs which needs answers first and it takes time.

Okay, should we change the thread name to LA Lakers updates and Lebron James discussion?  Grin

Golden States dominates the court again.
Steph Curry creating another rain of three points. 51 points and congratulations to their win.

Donovan Mitchell putting a great show at Houston with 38 points. Wow those exhibition lay ups are really something. It is like he can have lunch in the air and will still have time to shoot the ball.

Houston though, trading Ariza might have put a hole at their defense. I see not much of defense from Houston. It is all offense. Well, that is how Mike D'Antoni is.
6651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity entering the crypto world on: October 25, 2018, 01:39:57 PM
Who's next?
Morgan Stanley? Vanguard?

This companies are enjoying the world of crypto and then suddenly we will all be shocked that they also created their own coin and is much valuable than bitcoin.

Why not just use bitcoin? Is it really that stained for them to avoid it?
Now bitcoin became just an example to them?
6652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Stablecoin War on: October 24, 2018, 11:49:47 PM
Same.
I would rather pick fiat more than those who pretends they are fiat and yet also a crypto currency.

This kind of things have been all over. Look at how Tether is now. An immediate escape of whales and a way to play the trading system.

Yeah trading websites are thanking them with all that crypto currencies they are making profit by now.
But at the end of all this, crypto like Tether will be out in a sudden without a single trace and those who bought them cannot even get their capital back.
6653  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: October 24, 2018, 09:43:44 PM
And Paramore says:
That's what you get when you let your heart win.

Emotions. You are stressed because your emotions gets the best of you.
Of course it needs some rest.
I once had an eye problem too from frequent monitoring just one coin.

Binance could also be a bad thing coz you can access it thru your computer and smartphone. Which I did the whole month.
I just cannot sleep for so many times until I get the enough profit for the day.
6654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 24, 2018, 08:56:47 PM
DeRozan, DeRozan.

Whew. As I told here before this guy will start changing his gameplay when he goes to Spurs.

After the unexpected trade, Im sure he thinks even a bit that he want to show the Raptors management what they lose. But on the other hand, Kawhi Leonard is also doing great for the Raptors. Generally, they are professional and just doing their respective role to the team.

Looks like he is now having a good chemistry with the Spurs. This will get better.

Agree. I believed he easily adjusted to Pop' system because that's also the usual system he used to play back in Toronto Raptors. And since DeRozan holds the sole position of what Leonard left, the adjustment have been made easy.

So you did notice that too.

As I thought different coach could make you better if you just absorb it.
I dont really know why Kawai want out if Pops is that good in coaching and making new players feel like their home. Add up he can make you a better player.
(maybe it is really the other players whom he got a problem)

But it is all good. He looks like a good leader at Toronto now.
6655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, governments on: October 24, 2018, 08:24:13 PM
You are talking to it as a whole and that means they will spend the money that came from taxes of the people.
It cannot be done. If they really want bitcoin on their hand they could do it individually.

One example is Manny Pacquiao. He is the Senator of the Republic of the Philippines that is now advertising GCOX. Means he may have some investment in it. So, his team also have an idea on what crypto currencies are.
Although I am still in doubt if he do have BTC in his hands. It may risk his position as a senator for money laundering are said to be attached with BTC. Perhaps one of his team could do it for him since he have a lot of money.
6656  Economy / Economics / Re: Four Global Banks Involved In Yet Another Money Laundering Scheme on: October 24, 2018, 06:21:39 PM
Isn't it ironic that these respected institutions are the ones who are quick to throw shade at bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a vehicle for fraud and money laundering yet they are also the ones conducting large-scale money laundering themselves? Actually, it's easier and more difficult to follow where the trails lead once the money is converted into cold, hard cash, and this wouldn't be possible if banks are not in for the job. If their connection with the money laundering scheme is proven, this would be another blunder indicating that even the banking system isn't safe from these types of illicit activities.

Bulls-eye.

Also, this is seen because there is a lot of money that is included.
How about those small money that they have been laundering? They could have been doing it weekly or worse everyday.

They should not just escape from this even if big names are attached to it. Those who are on authority should really make a big deal out of all this mess that they have done.

Bitcoin never fought back to their allegation to it. They are damaging their own.  Grin

DeRozan, DeRozan.

Whew. As I told here before this guy will start changing his gameplay when he goes to Spurs.
We can see that now right?

He have been donating good pass and good plays.
There is one play against T'wolves where the ball rotated to every player on the floor. Love it.

Looks like he is now having a good chemistry with the Spurs. This will get better.

And then a tweet from Manu:

Quote
That DeRozan kid is pretty good! 😜. Good job @spurs! Always sweet to start with a W... Whoa! It's 10.01pm! 1 minute past my bedtime.

6658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave emotions at home on: October 24, 2018, 03:11:32 PM
Sometimes when we are making investment and turns out that it is not good, or turns out that it is a little way off, we should not play by our emotions and make a backup plan and improvise possible move to withstand losses. Because emotions will never help you. In this system, cryptocurrency should not be played lightly by our emotions, instead proper decision with the presence of mind is needed.

What if you are trading at home?  Grin Just kidding. I know what you mean.

This had been a problem for everybody when they are related with trading altcoins already. At start, it will be just like a gambling game. That is how they look at it. That is also how I did it.
When it goes deeper, the perspective is changing. Emotions suddenly comes out and want some changes. There are few that are now holding their token because of those emotions. They change the way they look at one token after they are fed up with good promises.
6659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's original idea... on: October 23, 2018, 11:18:47 PM

mining pools do not set rules. they just collate transactions in a format that must meet the rules of the network.
if its not in the format. it gets rejected.
all pools can do is decide to include or exclude transactions.

A lot of what you said makes sense, but if the bitcoin price is too low and energy and associated production costs to mine bitcoin are too high, why would somebody bother mining a bitcoin, if it costs more to mine than it does to purchase?

https://i.investopedia.com/image/jpeg/1520501899285/bitcoin_mining_costs_around_world_chart.jpg

A lot of the world is already priced out of bitcoin mining. Seems like if the price keeps declining only a handful of countries will find their mining operations to be profitable. That's why I brought up the whole "centralization" aspect. I realize this is a hypothetical situation, and also that mining pools don't set the rules, but they nevertheless have economic power and more say in how the network is run than normal nodes.

Actually that will be a good thing.
If this miners stops then the difficulty will be lower making it faster for transactions to be confirmed too.
Do you know there are still companies who wants to mine bitcoin and yet they cannot because it is still crowded.
It will be like before when bitcoin is still unknown to many.

Now about what the OP says.
Micropayments or transactions. Can we say that Satoshi is also on the poor side?
I mean, he would not see this kind of things happening in the world if he is already rich or something right?

Somehow I am still going back to my thread to know what made him do a huge effort for bitcoin.
6660  Economy / Economics / Re: ICO Token Allocation (Foundations) on: October 23, 2018, 08:31:06 PM
Is it the QuarkChain Foundation?

Looks like they call the Foundation as them. So the 15 percent of the pie is really for the team and developers.
Mostly it is 20 percent so I think they are a better number than other ICO's.

What is the issue with it?

To add up. Those tokens cannot be exchanged for a long time. They are locked. You can follow their wallet to check it daily.  Grin
