So, if we had changed to Marco's altered sig, are we considered still in or out? I know based on the original rules, we would be out; but, given the current circumstances, could you give us an update?
If your signature differs from the one provided by DiceBitcoin, you will be out. So if you use Marco's altered signature you are out.

Nice catch JackJack, keep it up. Razerglass asked for a link to Bl4ckw00d's trust page so here it is: Bl4ckw00d's trust summary

I know about that arrangement macrotheminer, but if Dooglus and I need to pay people we will most likely stop counting after the maximum of 200 posts per month, since we have a very limited amount of funds.
6664  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 09, 2014, 09:56:35 AM
What did your original arangement for escrow state? Did it state anything about the length of the campaign?
This is the Escrow contract that was sent to DiceBitco.in:

BitcoinInformation Escrow
First Draft
30-07-2014

Basic Information
This message will be a binding contract between Dicebitco.in and BitcoinInformation, which ensures payment of campaign members which take part in the "[DiceBitco.in] [Make the most out of your sig!] Make coins by simply posting!"-campaign. BitcoinInformation will be send a specified amount of coins which will be used to pay campaign participants if Dicebitco.in defaults or disappears. If Dicebitco.in pays in time the coins will be returned.

Fee's
BitcoinInformation won't charge anything for this service, but donations are always welcome.

Amount of coins to hold onto
The coins that will be escrowed are 5BTC

Procedure
The agreed amount of coins that BitcoinInformation will hold onto will be send to the following address: 1ExgQhoWP9aEJrSYgHKRt9EF8Hwa8aFprF. Once received, BitcoinInformation will sign a message stating that he is in control of these coins to proof to the participants of the campaign that escrow has been done through BitcoinInformation.

BitcoinInformation will return the coins to Dicebitco.in, once they did there first payment. If they fail to do so, the coins will be used to reimburse the participants.

Agreement
If Dicebitco.in agrees with this contract he shall send the coins to the address specified above. If Dicebitco.in does not agree they are welcome to send suggestion to BitcoinInformation which will be used to improve this contract.

I know that it's a bit noobish, sorry for that. I use a different template right now. Anyway, the agreement states that the coins will be used if DiceBitco.in doesn't pay. A period isn't clearly stated, but we both knew it was meant for a month (should have written that down).

DiceBitco.in asked Dooglus and me to keep the coins for another month, which indicates that this arrangement is for a whole month.

Its all good now.
Thank you, sorry for being a pain in the ass.

What I dont understand is why we dont do this:

Pay out all members right now, terminating the campaign. (if necessary at a reduced rate)

Then, if they want, dicebitoin can relaunch the campaign if they want to run it for another month.

This will prevent a lack of funds (because it seems dicebitcoin doesnt want to payout but instead wants to use the escrow funds straight away)
We have been thinking of paying out right now, but, well, DiceBitco.in clearly states that we need to pay at the end of the period (which is at the end of this month). I, personally, prefer to payout right now, but we aren't sure what we should do. I will talk with Dooglus about as soon as he gets online.
6666  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 09, 2014, 09:32:24 AM
First, I have changed my signature back to the original code. Please confirm im still in. (I altered it because you gave me an ok, bitcoininformation)

HOWEVER, why won't dicebitcoin be paying out signature participants at the end of the period? They started the thread buying people's signatures so they must pay us, not bitcoininformation OR dooglus. (then the escrowed 10BTC can be sent back)

Additionally, I am already over the maximum (dicebitcoin was aware of this and I understood that it was alright).
Your signature isn't correct yet. And yes, I know I said it was okay, because I thought we had to payout right then and there, but we need to continue the campaign till the end of the period.

I have no idea why he asked us to do it, but we will have to do it if he/they don't, so we prefer to be prepared.
6667  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.95 on: September 09, 2014, 08:14:54 AM
Done!
0.2.96 released with bookmarks enabled.
You can bookmark threads or posts, the button is next to the "Quote in BT++ chat" button.
And again, the bookmarks are at the bottom of the pages. If you don't find it practical (and I know you won't), please tell me where I should put them.
Why not make a page like the "Settings"-page with a nice little tab and display it there?
6668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshin@gmx.com is compromised on: September 09, 2014, 07:58:07 AM
i don't buy it. satoshi is pretty smart, and he probably knew that if he went out and deleted his account, someone else could grab it and impersonate him. i bet he has spent a lot of time pondering how to cover his tracks, since there is so much shit that you can do (and forget) that will expose you.. ie: ross ulbricht.
Even the smartest humans make mistakes. Satoshi isn't a god, nor a perfect being, he is just a human and they tend to make mistakes. I'm going to assume that this is one of them. It's possible he simply forgot to log in to that email address which made it expire. No idea how GMX works.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just got told that the hacker has access to emails from 2011, so the expiration option isn't valid anymore.
6669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you stumbled on access to the satoshin@gmx.com account? on: September 09, 2014, 07:55:48 AM
Well, that isn't a hard question. Add a donation address to his profile(s) and then just wait. I am pretty sure you could get 10BTC easily.
6670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshin@gmx.com is compromised on: September 09, 2014, 07:47:07 AM
Is it possible that he deleted the e-mail address @gmx when he left the project and that it has been recycled?  Someone else may have been able to sign up, then use the reset password feature on these other sites.  It is likely that the @gmx address would have been destroyed at the conclusion of his participation in the project, as all relevant information and e-mails have been public from the beginning.

1) Satoshi finishes with Bitcoin and deletes GMX account
2) He does not delete other accounts (sourceforge, i2p, etc)
3) GMX account is recycled after x period of time
4) Person signs up for @gmx account after it is recycled
5) Passwords for other sites are reset because they still point to the @gmx e-mail address as a recovery
6) Person tries to profit by extortion and fails

This is probably the most likely scenario... and they probably don't have any of Satoshi's information because it is unlikely that any e-mails were still in the box when he re-set up the @gmx address.
This is my prediction as well. That guy could have made shitloads of BTC by posting donation address, etc, but instead he is being a random troll. Damn.

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems that the hacker has access to mails from 2011, so the account wasn't expired.

See, this is where I'm obviously confused, I thought that just above you were saying "marco, you're fine" which I interpreted as meaning that you approved of his change.  I don't know what's happening, obviously.
I approved of it because I thought we had to pay today, which isn't true. I misinterpreted what DiceBitco.in said.
Just to be clear, Dooglus and I are enforcing the signature campaign rules, which means that you have to use their signature.
6672  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 07:14:21 PM
Already changed. If we can drop out now, let us know.
We can't guarantee anything right now. If you want a guarenteed payment you will have to stick with the DiceBitco.in signature till the end of the period. And even then we might not be able to pay everyone everything, since we only have 10BTC that we can use for said payments. This is a really tricky situation right now, but we will do what we can.

I admit that I am not completely following what's going on with this dicebitco.in thing, but I do have to say that I think your point seems questionable, marcotheminer.  If I paid you to advertize for ACME Rockets, and we agree that you'll bear the advert for a given time, and then you tag a "sux" on the end of the advert or something equivalent, I think that I would consider you to be in breach of our contract.  Again, maybe there's some detail here that I'm missing.
This is why Dooglus and I decided that you aren't allowed to change your signature to something else. You will be dropped from the campaign if it happens.
6673  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 06:49:14 PM
Hello everyone,

Dooglus and BitcoinInformation here. We have talked a bit and decided that we will be enforcing the rules set by DiceBitco.in. If you want to advertise the site, you can, but decide for yourself. If you think it's a scam, and you don't want to advertise a scam, then change your signature. Hower, you most likely won't get paid, since you are breaking the campaign rules. This also means that changed signature's are invalid!

If we have coins left at the end of this period, we will pay those who dropped out now for being in the campaign for a week. We have send DiceBitco.in a PM asking if we could do an early payout, because the current arregement isn't optimal.

We will keep you all updated!

Kind Regards,
Dooglus and BitcoinInformation

Dont take too much for yourself Tongue /sarcasm
Dooglus and I are fair and decent persons. No need to worry.

EDIT: I will be out for around an hour (RL stuff, sorry). Please don't spam this topic, thank you.
6675  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 05:04:49 PM
Thank you all! Dooglus and I have been talking about this already. We will get back to you guys Wink

EDIT: Please don't remove your signature (marcotheminer, you should be fine). It's our only way to see if someone sticked with the campaign rules. No signature is most likely no payment.
6676  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 02:19:53 PM
after the incident
everybody try to divest
Bankroll decrease
then someone name MATEO occur
he leach site profit every second

What an irony

BY THE WAY, will dicebit SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN will be continue ?
or it will be SHUT DOWN ??

Dooglus and I both have 5BTC in escrow (so 10BTC in total) for the Signature Campaign. If they don't pay their campaign participates, we will use those 10BTC to pay said participants as good as possible.
6677  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 02:05:42 PM
Well, I'm pretty sure that this now has turned into a scam (yes TF, you were right). OP doesn't respond on this topic anymore, chat is disabled and someone is draining the site, this is just way and way to fishy.
6678  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 12:54:08 PM
Dicebitco.in seems like a scam, so this site didn't last long I see..

What's up with the "cleansing" of their cold wallet?
https://blockchain.info/address/19tQNCrmaW6EADfJrtBaRixRkPyVrvb6yk

Looks like a "hit and run" to me.
Most of the cold wallet has been send to the hot wallet, because +- 6000BTC was divested and withdrawn.

I don't believe the story anymore. This is way too sketchy.
6679  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 12:28:02 PM
Where does it say that? Didn't see anything about Staff in the op. Also he posted the following on Sept 3

Campaign is FULL ! Thank you all for your participation !

Topic is LOCKED, since no new members will be accepted. Thank you!
They stated that in their other topic, but I am currently to busy to go and find it for you, sorry. My internship is consuming all of my time.

I am going to agree that this is getting really sketchy. I really hope that this was just a mayor screw up, but my belief in that is decreasing rapidly.
