First game of the week is about to get underway, who else is going Man Utd ? I'm sticking with my initial pick of Southampton 0 - 2 Man Utd (I know I'm an optimist), who knows, It could be my day!  Grin
It's 1 - 1 now. My pick was 2 - 1 for Man Utd. Now I have a hope for full point however if the match ends with 1 - 1 then it will suck. Man Utd really needs to find the habit of winning.

Last three match: Win (first), Draw, Lose. It will be hard on them if they draw or lose this match.
Manchester United need to do one more goal as Southampton is playing with 10 players and they have good chance of full points and good for future games otherwise its going to be horrible for Manager and players.

I only hope Man Utd can use that to their advantage, getting 1.5 points to kick off the week wouldn't be so bad.

There is only about 7 minutes plus stoppage time left, Can they still get the win ? I doubt it, though!

Wakey Wakey. A few people haven’t done their picks yet ! Good luck all  Smiley

I think they should start making their picks ahead of time. I always ensure to make my picks a week ahead (and review later if need be), Just in case I won't be available for an upcoming week, hardly would I miss two weeks in row.

• Sources close to FC Barcelona have said that the Neymar deal will most likely not happen[3]. PSG have rejected 130M + Rakitic-Todibo-Dembele. (good job, DiMarzio LOL)

I guess, we'll never figure out for real until there us an official statement from either clubs or parties involved ? I really just want this to be over already, It's becoming a rather annoying news everyday.
6664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 29, 2019, 05:00:37 PM
For Rangers it will be tough match. I pick under 2.5 goals for this game, because Legia have awful offence, but their defence is solid and we can't expect that Rangers can score a lot.
Other my picks tonight is Vitoria Guimaraes, Eintracht and Wolves wins.

Picking under 2.5 goals Rangers vs Legia is very logical. I'm actually quite more interested in Wolves vs Torino matchup and Frankfurt vs Strasbourg.

As for Wolves vs Torino; I'm predicting another goals galore here, and both team to score would be my bet. Although, I think Wolves will eventually qualify.

Frankfurt vs Strasbourg; I think Frankfurt will have another hard time tonight, but I'm going with under 2.5 goals.

Ajax will get into a tough position if APOEL FC are able to score even 1 goal against Ajax due to the away goal advantage in this match, so I guess the players of Ajax will focus on their defense too while attacking aggressively in this match. The odds payout on Ajax to win the match in full time against APOEL FC is low but I think Ajax should be able to eliminate APOEL FC, and this might ends up as a low scoring game for both teams.

I have a contrary opinion, I know it's going to be a tricky match for Ajax as they don't have any other advantage different from playing at home, but I'm sure they'll win the match rather convincingly.

Ajax to win at halftime with an odd of 1.59 seem quite of value, IMO.

I really don't understand Barcelona who insist on getting Neymar. This is the third time that was made by Barcelona to PSG. Barcelona already has a number of good and qualified players, it's just that many are still injured.
What Barcelona can do is make a new offer to bring Neymar back to Camp Nou with a loan coupled with a permanent purchase option next summer.

That option is already on the cards because there is no way Barcelona can pay Neymar's transfer fee now and remain in compliance with the FFP rules. Moreover, Barça are only interested in deal that'd see Neymar in Barcelona this season, I can assure you that it's over for Neymar heading back to Barcelona, if it doesn't happen this summer.
6667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 27, 2019, 10:06:05 PM
Almost done for Neymar to Barca ?

Barcelona are surely leading the race to return the Brazilian back to the camp Nou, and with recent happenings around Dembele, I will not be surprised if he is included in a swap deal plus cash.

There is a great chance that If Neymar gets to leave PSG before the transfer window closes he'd be heading to Camp Nou, but there have been rumors suggesting that PSG will not let him leave yet, due to recent injuries to Kylian Mbappé (at least 1 month), and Cavani for (3 weeks). PSG could indeed be in the need to count on Neymar again, but what are the odds of that happening considering He's (Neymar) probably not fit himself, and could need a few weeks to get back to his best.

I heard some rumors that Barcelona is trying to get rid of Rakitic at all costs and that they wants to send him to Juventus as part of some exchange?
Any news about this?

He's surplus to requirement, but there are no clubs interested, AFAICT.

Olympiakos doing a great job and in the end qualifying easily - easier than expected to be honest...

The tie was over already after their 4 nil rout in the first leg, winning away from tonight again is just an icing on the cake.

Joining Olympaikos to qualify today are Dinamo Zagreb who are through on 1 - 3 on aggregate, and Red Star Belgrade on away goal (3-3) on aggregate) rules.

I'm continuously in a falling trend, but, I will do my best to reach the top of the leading board  Cool

That makes two of us buddy, I finally broke the jinx yesterday and got my first correct score with Wolverhampton vs Burnley 1-1 draw.

LFC and micg far ahead but quiet in this thread;)
LFC started quite poorly in the first week, but he's got his pace back. Back to back triumph  Roll Eyes ?
6670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 25, 2019, 08:58:36 PM
Barca 1-1 at HT vs Betis - most notable point is that Griezman scored his first goal for Barca! 70% possession for Barca, 8-0 corners for Barca but Griezmans equalizer came only a few minutes before the HT whistle. Expect an exciting 2nd half but dont think betis will be able to handle the pressure.

I must say I'm very impressed with the team spirit today! I'm very happy with the team's performance although a number area still need to be worked on, but then let's just enjoy the huge positivity from the game! Griezmann was a beauty to watch..
6671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 25, 2019, 03:23:11 PM
^  Yup.  1 - 3, 1 - 4 but could be 2 - 3 too (or 2 - 2?  Lawl) cos Bournemouth are playing with high confidence atm.

Edit:  The other Wilson...

Edit:  That's a penalty right?

There you have it, a City that always get the job done!

There definitely is not gonna be an easy ride for LFC, If they are ever going to claim the EPL against this Citizens they'll have to be on their toes all season long.

A 3 - 1 win for City means, I'll still have to wait for my first correct score in the pool.
6672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 25, 2019, 08:32:16 AM
It seems your 3 - 1 prediction could well hit, but with this Arsenal perfomance, it's quite unlikely they won't concede more goals before the game ends.

It did indeed.

Liverpool is unbeatable in this season. 3 win from 3 match. Leading the point table. Arsenal competed well but it was not enough to stop Liverpool. Salah was wonderful in this match.

I hope City lose some points tomorrow LOL. I know I am too ambitious. City is a better team against Bournemouth. They will give everything to get whole three points. They know they lost two points against Tottenham.

City dropping points is not happening today, please! I prefer they keep a closer on Liverpool, you don't want Liverpool going out of sight this early in to the league.

I went with 3 - 0 for City in the pool, and I'm standing with it, City will be too hot to handle for The Cherries.
6673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 25, 2019, 08:15:55 AM
As a Barca "Fan" I am very happy to see Real failing like this... Cheesy Not being able to win at home vs Valladolid is kinda pathetic actually...

Maybe this is the same thing felt supporters of Real Madrid when Barcelona could not win against Bilbao the previous week.

Real Madrid did not experience defeat, only they drew and only got 1 point.

I hope that Barcelona can win against Betis so that you can be happy, because Barcelona haven't got any points at all in official competitions.

The only difference being that even with a full squad at Barcelona disposal, Athletic Bilbao is always a tricky test, and Barcelona losing is always an expected outcome, which was the case with Real Madrid vs Valladolid where Madrid running riot is the least expectation.

Barcelona winning today will even things out.
6674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 24, 2019, 10:48:19 PM
I didn't watched their match, but results like this one reminds me previous season.
While Barca will face difficult opponent - Real Betis. I remember we lost against them at home last season. They have some interesting new players like Nabil Fekhir, but on the other hand they lost many important players during transfer window - Firpo, Lo Celso, Boudeboz and few others. It's going to be interesting.

I'm quite positive of Barcelona winning tomorrow, obviously Betis have always been a hard nut to crack for Barcelona, and It's definitely going to tougher tomorrow with several stars including Messi, Suarez and Dembele still unavailable for selection.

Match day squad according to the Official Website.
They are: are Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Arthur, Rafinha, Lenglet, Griezmann, Jordi Alba, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Vidal, Umtiti, Junior, Iñaki Peña, C . Perez and Ansu Fati.

Todibo, M. Wague and Aleñá have been left out by the coach, whilst Suárez, Messi, O. Dembélé and Neto are still injured.
6675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 24, 2019, 06:49:45 PM
The second match for Real Madrid on Laliga 19/20 is upon Valladolid. I imagine James would get some match time today since Modric is suspended. Hazard still needs to wait for Laliga debut. I am looking forward to seeing the performance of Bale especially. I expect Zidane and Bale to sort out their peculiar problems and make the club stronger.

My prediction for today game is RMA 3-0 VAL

I thought it would be an easy game for Real Madrid prior to the game, but it took Madrid 82 minutes before they could score a goal and yet are unable to defend their lead. It's 1 - 1 and two minutes plus stoppage time to go.

Definitely not the game anyone had hoped for, Except for the Valladolid's fans.
6676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 24, 2019, 05:49:12 PM
The penalty was definitely the right call, but it feels a bit harsh from my perspective.
Poor Luiz however it's a part of the game. Arsenal has wasted few good chances by the way. We still have a long way to go. I hope we see some more scores. 3 - 1 would be nice for me though LOL

Massacre! With 3 goals without reply, It's becoming a walk in the park for Liverpool, Arsenal are looking lost and out of ideas!

It seems your 3 - 1 prediction could well hit, but with this Arsenal perfomance, it's quite unlikely they won't concede more goals before the game ends.
6677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 24, 2019, 05:42:20 PM
LOL Here we go, Liverpool have taken the lead!
Matip was the saver. It was a fantastic header. Very qick and the keeper could not do much. We need to score at least one more goal to have a safe position in the match. I hope we do more than that. My initial prediction was 3 - 1 for Liverpool.

Now it's game over! Salah has made it 2 for the Reds, there's no way back now!

The penalty was definitely the right call, but it feels a bit harsh from my perspective.
6678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 24, 2019, 05:06:28 PM
I wonder what the premier league would look like for the past two seasons if Man City isn't there giving Liverpool them some though time and a run for their money, Could have been a monopoly.
Forget this man! Arsenal seems playing good football today. Pepe is everywhere. Liverpool needs to find out a way to have possession of the ball and score from there.
Arsenal is looking very good!

Yes so far so good for Arsenal! Aubameyang could have given them the lead!

Edit: Oh My! That was so close from Pepe, He should have buried that, poor finishing but, It was an incredible move from him to begin with.

LOL Here we go, Liverpool have taken the lead!
6679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 24, 2019, 04:46:49 PM
Its time for Liverpool to get some titles again.

I wonder what the premier league would look like for the past two seasons if Man City isn't there giving Liverpool them some though time and a run for their money, Could have been a monopoly.

Manchester United defeat in the English Premier League 2019/2020. The Red Devils were humiliated 1-2 by Crystal Palace.
With this defeat, the Red Devils are in fifth place in the English League standings with four points. Meanwhile, Palace is in 10th place with the same points.

A typical post-Ferguson Man United; One good game; Three awful ones. They can start bidding farewell top a six finish if they can't win against the like of Palace and Wolverhampton.
6680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 24, 2019, 04:33:20 PM
Lawl United.

My pool score's starting to be a disaster now...  Time to Lawro.  Lolol.

I've only 2.5 points from 6 games so far this week, You're better disaster compared to me! I'm becoming so clueless with my picks.

Liverpool vs Arsenal is underway! Let's get some actions, this is going Liverpool's way isn't it ?
